I wouldn't be surprised if having to deal with an entire kingdom and different way of life would make it even worse! I agree with you about Fiona being the perfect choice for Queen of Far Far Away. One reason I wasn't fond of Shrek 3 is that the way Shrek and Fiona abdicate royal responsibility when... if anything we see that Shrek has a unique perspective to enact change for the better and Fiona would be a wonderful leader. She's smart, considerate, brave, and resilient. The perfect qualities you'd want in a ruler. I kind of skip Shrek 3. I don't hate the movie entirely, but honestly, it didn't really do much for me where as the other three Shrek films are classics and Shrek 4 doesn't really make reference to it in significant ways as the first 2 movies are the ones given focus and pretend it didn't happen and Queen Lillian is the leader and Fiona and Shrek will rule one day.
