I think the characters are way more detailed and played out in the us version. It's just my opinion and it might be because I started watching the us version first.
You shouldn't hate the UK version just because you like the US version. The US version is arguably much better but we wouldn't even have it if it wasn't for the ground the UK version laid. Also gotta keep in mind it was 7 years before the US version and had a much lower budget

It's different to see the way people are in another country. I mean, it's different in ways, yet it's still the same. I started watching US and totally love it. But I love the UK version because it does seem more realistic. Frank G, and all the US Gallaghers' have a lot of good luck. Who gets a liver given to them in real life? But I see a lot more punches thrown towards drunks. The UK is better. I agree ☺️
