Koch and Rajbanshi do not belong to the same caste. But many of the Koch caste once declared themselves or themselves as Rajbanshi caste. But later that mistake was broken and he identified himself as Koch (Koch-Rajbanshi). The Koch (Koch-Rajbanshi) language belongs to the "Tibetan-Barmi" group and the caste belongs to the Mongoloid group. But Rajbanshi (Kamtapuri) language belongs to Ariyan group and caste is Rajbanshi Kshatriya. But as a result of conversion of religion Rajbanshi caste is now divided into different sects like: Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian. A closer look reveals the anatomical path deference of the Rajbanshi Kshatriya race and the Koch (Koch-Rajbanshi) race. But due to living side by side for a long time, the Koch caste and the Rajbanshi caste have matrimonial relations. As a result, in many Koch caste or Rajbanshi Kshatriya caste families, children born from the same mother's have the anatomical path deference of two brothers or two sisters. But in those families where that mixture did not happen, the facial structure of the children of those families is the same. This mixture is more common in West Bengal bordering Assam and Assam. Also few seen in other places. In families in which this admixture is found, there is no difficulty in understanding the matter by investigating the previous family marital history of the family. But many wrongly comment about 'Rajbanshi Kshatriya caste' without knowing the issue, it is never desirable. Due to living side by side for a long time, most of the Koch people have forgotten their own language and there they speak Rajbanshi (Kamtapuri) language, Assamese and Bengali language. In the future, if the Koch language is not protected and taught, this ancient Koch (Koch-Rajbanshi) language will be lost forever from the world. That is by no means desirable.
