She dropped a 51.2 split, and she was running wide in lane 2 for most the lap 💀
Dina look great all day long in multiple events. Britton looked good too, she was fast but her strength/endurance is clearly still on the mend. I look forward to the shape she will be in when Paris rolls around.
The shins... I guess it's not healed.
I believe coach flo had said her finish was what they were working on, and wow! What a finish from Dina
She’s going to be on the podium this Olympics
Maybe in the 200
@@tsmith9063If she makes the podium in the 200m it will be for third place only. She is not beating Shericka or Gabby.
I like Briton’s race much more. People seem to miss the fact that Dina got the baton slightly ahead of Britton, so their race was about even. What was impressive was how good Britton coming back from injury. When her fitness returns, she will be on another level.
Jaw dropping run 🏃 from Dina
She’s going to shake 🫨 up the medal 🥇 ceremony in the 100&200m if she stays healthy Dina is on fire
Not the 100
@tsmith9063 Yeah, the 100m is gonna insane...with Elaine, Shacarri, shericka, shelly, julien, ta lou...that field gonna be heavy...that 400 training can be helpful in the 200m though.
Can’t wait to see Dina run 10.5 and 21.3 to to win those gold medals 💀😂
@@MaliduDilchin-tr9yj The reason I said 10.5 is bcz that’s almost a guaranteed win since the best women are running 10.6. Similarly, Shericka runs 21.4 which means if u go 21.3 u might beat her
This is all hypothetical tho
Actually Dina Asher-Smith and Julien Alfred's fastest 100m and 200m times are almost identical.
This 4X200m relay, the 60m sprint, 150m and 300m, must be added to the roster to become standard at every major track meet. Even a 4X100m hurdles relay.
The sport needs to grow. These would draw more athletes, more excitement, more spectators, hence more advertising dollars and endorsements.
Love to see it.
Its very sad to see how Britton hasn’t fully recovered from her injury from last season. Because never in Dina’s life could she be able to run Britton down in the 400m if Britton was fully recovered. I hope she manages to bounce back after the crazy coach she had to endure.
Doesn't matter, Dina has the heart to be out there she is trying to get better.
@@AllInTheGame01 Crazy! Have not seen this! But again I have questions! If she didn’t hit track why is she suddenly competing. Competition puts an extra pressure on your body. Seeing this I am wondering why she did not wait a little bit longer to start her season.
@@AllInTheGame01 I see. But I believe that since she didn’t hit track before the race, the best approach would be test waters on track in training before you immediately expose yourself to competition. I get what you are saying but I definitely feel like she could have taken another month and compete in May. But my opinion is only based on the information I have gotten from you. I could be also that they started training on track way before this meet. My issue is this Swim>weight>competition vs Swim>weight>track training>then competition.
@@LifeissuesDLYThe content creator said that Britton was run down so she could get more views with this video. If I knew Dina ran a 51.s split to do so then I might have not clicked on the video myself.
Welcome back Dina
Love the video but Dina dropped 51.2 (according to the commentator) and yes Julien dropped 51.3
@dya101992 Thought I heard 51.7...Even more impressive
Julien dropped faster 400m splits than that when she attended the University of Texas. Impressive? If you don't know then you better ask somebody.
Dina and Julien training together.
Cousin Dina.
🤣
Knight congrats on 2nd place finish in 800m Texas invitational.
I love all of these ladies but for me I am not buying that, on Britton wilson , I dont buy that
Dina Asher Smith is practicing in the United States of America with Julian Alfred of St. Lucia so am I surprised, so it's impressive and Julien Alfred attended college and graduated and then being trained in the United States and both have the same coaching in Texas so why are you surprised?!! Dina Asher Smith and Justien Alfred trained and practiced together with other international athletes as a team even though they are in the United States of America under a VISA because let's face it: my own country USA is one of the best international coaches of the WORLD, but there are other coaches in different countries too like the one who is training Femme Bol of the Netherlands and her running mate... but Dina Asher Smith wanted to improve her form to compete with the best so she is here to make that comeback as a champion 🏆 so she has that mindset, but who counted her out because she didn't execute her running like she wanted?!! Apparently you!!! Once a champion 🏆 is still a champion, but a champion 🏆 has setbacks and challenges because she/he is a human being!!! But I am biased: I only cheered and routed for my own country USA!!! Go USA!!! Go Britton Wilson!!! 😊😊😊
Live stream 😢
@Jordan._123 Forgive me
It won't translate in the 100
Lies. She should be able to hold her top speed for longer now
An athlete should be able to hold their top speed in the 100m without any 400m training at all I would think.
She's a very good sprinter 👉but like osafa Powell she's like a deer staring in bright 😎 lights when it comes to the championship👉facts look and learn it doesn't get easier many are called but only a few could be chosen.
