This commentary is an improvement over last time. More compact interesting information/trivia about what's seen and not just reading the description. I like it.
Narration 100,000% Yes! I'd stopped watching daily updates because of the need to read the captions, which was very difficult if watching on phone. Will become a daily watcher again! Thanks!
A far better commentary than the last one, Good to hear more information about what is being shown, with some of the ambient track...it made for a far more watchable video than the last one. Also the more you voice over, the more you will find the right style, and level of narration required to tell the story for each new update.
I like the commentary because often I play the videos while I'm doing something else and I'm not always looking at the screen. With no commentary I might miss something I would be interested in. With the commentary I know to look back at the screen.
Today's was even better than yesterday... Yesterday you kinda introduced each clip but not much else... The added context made the entire video feel much more fluid... I really hope the 200+ other comments are supportive and that you make this a regular thing. I wouldn't change a thing.
I think you have added just enough casual and informative commentary, but I understand why some want only ambient sounds. No need to turn this into a daily SBU. Great Job!
This is great! Keep the light atmosphere with little stories about the wife having NSF Livestreams open when you wake up, gives a nice touch to the relaxing video.
Amazing Das, like the commentary with flare. I also read the comments and i can see how some like it with just ambiance. But for some who may not read quickly or possibly have a hard time seeing the summary commentary is great. Keep up the great work Das and NSF team.
I haven't checked in on Starbase in quite some time, so I was shocked to discover in this video that there is a second tower, that it's nearing completion, that they have reconfigured the tank farm, that there is an enormous office building on site, and...well, pretty much everything is shocking. The speed of development is breathtaking. 😮
I like the commentary, Das. It makes it easier to focus on the video instead of reading labels. And commentary from those of you who get to frequent Starbase and know what you're talking about is even more appreciated. Adding some background is always nice, too. You all do a great job. I've always loved this channel. Hope to visit Starbase some day, maybe see you there!
Great addition! I love the idea of both. The commentary is great for my 'catch-up' moments. At other times, I like the Starbase ASMR when I just need back ground noise. Being able to choose will be a major plus. Great work Das, and the NSF team as always !
I'm honest with you. I didn't watch the non commentary vids a lot but I enjoy what I saw here. I really like the way das does (no pun intended) this commentary.
This is the first time I seen this with the commentary and I really like it. I have watched every starship launch and am very appreciative of what Spacex is doing and the coverage that NSF have for us. You guys ROCK! The commentary is always good for me as I need the explanation lol. And You’ve added just enough commentary. Keep up the good work and for all the people like myself that love this stuff but don’t know a lot about it, THANK YOU !
As a feedback, this is more interesting than the other "read the labels" commentary video, just adding a little bit of context to the scenes shown increases the content value and doesn't make it redundant to the weekly update which should be a cherry pick, having two tracks of audio makes sense to the people that enjoys it silent or adding his own explanations(ex: a school teacher), i saw somewhere that having a defined schedule increases the audience on YT, and makes sense, human brain loves predictability, like your favorite tv show, airing from xxx to xxx at Wednesday for example, that should be good too. Thanks for your hard work keeping us updated on whats happening on Starbase and all the Space sector.

I think you'll nailed it with this video. And I like them called 'modules' partially because that's what's on the stand on the transport, and also because module just sounds fun: installing the mobility module, installing the vision module, as opposed to getting in the car or putting on the glasses.
This is SUCH a WAY BETTER WAY of presenting all the ART you guys capture w/ these cameras. Don't comment often if ever but I needed to share that this is great and very likely to keep me watching until the end of the video. Thank you!

I do enjoy the moments, as long as the moments are clearly made by a human being. It's definitely a plus with the moments done by a person I could see.
I joined NSF a few months after it was established in 2005. It is amazing how it has grown. The new casual, but knowledgeable commentary is another step forward. Good work!
The commentary is better this time - the previous one it was just too sparse. I think it's about right like this ... thanks DAS, and the team as ever for a great job! And a shout-out too for Mary, BocaChicaGal! I also think the idea of having the option of switching the voice-over in or out is certainly worth exploring.

Thank you so much for posting the ambient version for members because I am one of the 20% who enjoy that! however I do appreciate NSF listening to all of. us and giving at least the members the option and I appreciate you making the effort to eventually have the option for everyone. Even though I do prefer the ambient track, you did a great job! thanks for all of your hard work.
I often watch videos while cooking/eating or otherwise lightly multitasking, so I've always preferred the ones with narration a little. Much easier to not have to be eyes glued to the screen to catch every label. I do understand that it is one more thing someone has to take time to prep though. Great to catch something Das is hosting too!
Das, great adjustment from the last commentated video! I enjoyed the asides, explanations, a little humor, and extemporaneous commentary. Now, if I had a choice between ambient and commentated, I would definitely take the commentary!!

Love the commentary! Keep it up. I like hearing an unscripted, candid commentary from you. I won't watch non-commentary videos, as I would just wait for the weekly updates. This allows me to keep more on tabs.
I LOVE THE COMMENTARY!! Especially on this one after Das points out the pulleys on the section being moved at 3:22. After he finished saying it the video had move to something else and I missed it, so had to back it up about 10 seconds and watch it again.

Narrating these videos is one of the best ideas NSF has had... I used to skip a ton of stuff, but giving it context and color helped a LOT🎉!

That's a nice evolution of the format! The "live" commentary adds context without feeling scripted.
