& he was facing on of the top defenses on the country.
I think a lot of what makes Oregon a top 10 team is their ability to adjust and then take over. They have repeatedly been doing that. Starting slow just isn't a problem for them.
Yes also great coaching, more physical, better O-line play and our defense is finally starting to match the high powered explosive offense they have been famous for, for years!

@@TM-bn8pv I'd call the Pac12 North and South one of the most consistent conferences there is. A lot more well rounded teams in the conference than there is in most of the others.

That announcer was totally pulling for USC. He was so unenthusiastic when Oregon scored.
"Slovis! Slovis. Slovis..." The announcers were praising him the first couple minutes of the game like crazy. Once the Ducks exposed him they just started getting quiet. Instead of praising the Ducks defense they just kept saying "Well Slovis is only 18"...

2 of the ints were not his fault and the fumble he was trying to throw it.
This game was weird. I think the penalties threw the commentators off their game cuz it was messy and killed a lot of momentum. Its almost like Gus was holding back in case the refs were gonna throw another flag. Definitley not Gus Johnson's night.
@@freetrailer4poor he still threw the ball into the wrong hands. So regardless of who's fault the interceptions belongs to, it still is on his stat sheet. And the fumble is his fault, because he tried to throw it under that pressure.
@@nathan.d.c Who cares about the stat sheet. We're smart enough to be able to do deeper analysis than just looking at a few numbers. I thought Slovis played fine for a true freshman. You're right the fumble was his fault. He should've just went down and that's something he'll learn. But two of his INTs ricocheting off the WR's hands and one completely falling down isn't the fault of the QB. The pick six was on him but the other two I'm not about to blame him for.
USC was overmatched but Slovis showed a lot of promise for a true frosh. His TD throw to Pittman threaded between 3 defenders was probably the best throw of the entire game on both sides.
The announcer was getting so bored when Oregon started to run up the score 😂

@@insertnamehere2746 I'm talking about how Oregon was playing like trash.They started to pick it up in the 2nd half once they got their Mojo going but they definitely have work to do and as of right this moment, they shouldn't be ranked #8 in college football. I'm not saying they suck completely and they've so much talent and potential but they've some figuring things out to do and figure out how to utilize players a little better.

I was wondering how USC paid for their new club house last year. Seems like they must have sold the rights to their end-zones... they’re certainly not making use of them.
I’m here years later, reliving some of our best memories. How have we not ever won a championship 😭😭😭😭😭…? The closest that I know of was back in 2010 against Auburn. Such a great history and great players, yet always coming up short
The fact that I've heard Gus Johnson scream unimaginably for a 3-yard off-tackle run, makes his calls during this game seem even more perplexing.
Well the first half was over 2 hours long. A big beatdown is rough to watch.
Once again my ducks adjusted and did what they needed to do, lead the league in INTs coming in and got 3 more💪🏾

@Jack Trippin777 I don't know about all that man. That was very terrible play from slovis and extremely sloppy. He needs to be benched at least for now if anything and they need their QB coaches to go back to the drawing board with him and work him up and into the area that he needs to be and feels most comfortable with before just throwing him into the fire again. He is clearly not comfortable, isn't performing at the level he needs to be and as of now,it just isn't working and this game is the result of it all.

Not really the 1st half USC dominated them. Then in the 2nd refs made a bad call and them it was just a running game and the USC defense was exhausted after 2 hour 1st half.

Our back up qb laying the wood on the last play so good. Not sure why Cristobal wasn't resting players with 7 minutes left in game a huge lead and a path to the playoffs. Saw lanning do this same puzzling thing last year with nix on occasion. This is poor coaching and hurting your post season changes and wondering if it's intentional.

Some players on Oregon are from Cali and were overlooked by USC to play there, in their home city, so emotions were high

This yet another classic reason why Helton has no business coaching a major program. This defense utterly quit in the fourth quarter - for most of the second half, but it gets ridiculous in the 4th. Also, a couple times inside the 10 Slovis had a ridiculous amount of time to throw into the end zone - the receivers were mostly standing around - you should have a decent play called to take advantage of all that time. Helton signature loss here.
All that talent in the world and 3 top recievers in college football just to go 5-4

@anthony gomes we have 47 4&5 star recruits, the MOST in the pac12, the only one that comes close to us is Washington with 22. There is a reason these 4&5 star recruits are not playing like they should and always hurt..... COACHING.
