    Wonderful video and you did it all in your second language so you get special thanks for making this in English. I speak Spanish as a second language but I could never in a million years do a whole video with all these terms and make it understandable. Great painting and great teaching.

    Making a painting for my art program in HS and desperately needed a good perspective on how to create clouds. This really helped!

    Super grateful that UA-cam recommended this video. I’ve been struggling with painting clouds. Your tutorial was simple, clear and you even taught me the names of the clouds which is super helpful in searching them for reference. Thank you so much.

    What colors do you recommend for sky gradient? I have heard so many different ideas……looks like yours is one color with a gradient tint? Thanks so much for this video ❤

    What brush should be used? filbert...bristle...synthetic?

    • @Kunstelie
      @Kunstelie  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Dee. As you can see in the video I mostly use the filbert brush and sometimes the square one for the clouds, of course in different sizes. Most of my brushes are synthetic, but it doesn't matter too much - as long as you feel comfortable with the brush you use (and the brush doesn't annoy you)

    Ek is 'n absolute beginner en het al hope papiere weggegooi met wolke wat ek probeer het. Nou verf ek maar die reguit wolke met die skaduwee aan die onderkant. Bied jy klasse online dalk aan?

    • @Kunstelie
      @Kunstelie  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Eugene! Ek dink die "trick" met wolke lê in hoe jy die lug verf (as 'n gradient) dalk kan jy dit probeer.
      Ek bied nie online klasse aan nie, maar as daar genoeg mense is wat belangstelling toon sal ek dit dalk oorweeg! 😄

    I wish you were a bit more precise than just “play around with your colors to add dimension”, assuming that I’m a beginner.

    • @Kunstelie
      @Kunstelie  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Henry! Becoming good at art does require a bit of experimentation which is often difficult to formulate in words. I definitely reccomend not being scared to add different colours to your blues when painting clouds. Deviating from the step by step instructions, especially as a beginner artist, is really good for you to develop a sense and a feeling for the medium you are using.
