Yes, that's the vibe! Keep going ^-^ and the thing with avoiding burnout: yes, it is hard, 'but you can do it, and you are not alone. Listen to your partner if he says, "Please take a break," cos he sees you and knows you the most :)
As I gave feedback on the audio and music last time, I will repeat it here because I see huge improvements!
The music switch is a nice twist and keeps it engaging; well done! Also, I appreciate the music in the second half a lot. You are giving the camera the same chill and happy vibe, which is just fun to watch. However, the music in the beginning (the first 3 tracks" are a bit too hyped (for me). Nonetheless, I noticed that you played with the sound volume for dramatic moments. I Love the thought here! Now I want to play with this myself for my "content channel" .
All in all, great job! Excited to see what is coming next :)

Still experimenting, but I'll probably use the same few tracks as a sort of "soundtrack" for this series once I nail them
And yep, have already had a conversation with him about burnout 😅 going to be making some changes moving forward!

Have you thought about livestreaming part of your process? Talking through ideas, video examples, some of your research? I think it would be fascinating to see this process live and on top of that, you'll accumulate some of those precious watch hours pretty quickly that way too!
Ooh this is a super interesting idea. I've never thought about it before... But now that you mention it, it might be great for watch hours. If I do a 3 hour stream, and only 2 people show up and watch the whole thing, that's still 6 watch hours in the bank. Super interesting
@@AprilynneAlter exactly, and I'm pretty certain you would get 4-5 average viewers easily given your UA-cam expertise and presence :) This is the basis of my upcoming experiment for when I livestream on Twitch (sssh, don't tell anyone) so that I can unlock that monetisation goal faster.

This was a good video! I liked it! If I could provide some constructive feedback, I’m noticing some mic hiss or feedback hiss during the duration of the video. Not a huge deal tho, just a bit distracting?
I really like all your text on the screen, and when you punch out and have that white border I think that’s cool.
Also, the music transitions were 💰 for sure!
Oh and you mentioned something to include in future updates - this could also be a topic for a future video but - how to keep audience retention high/going over your audience retention graph (if you feel comfortable). Just an idea!

Thank you, so much for the feedback! I'm frustrated because I received this piece of feedback (about the hissing audio) last video, and while I switched to a new mic, I didn't have the time to fully fix it. The problem with uploading 3 videos per week is that ALL of my time goes into researching, scripting, filming, and editing. I quite literally do not have the hours to dedicate to adapting/fixing problems, which is quite problematic. I've been thinking about it today and I think I'll go down to 2 videos per week. It sucks and it feels like a failure, but if I don't have the time to implement changes and improve my videos, I'll just be treading water these 90 days. I'd rather release 24 videos that steadily get better than 36 videos that stay in the same quality the entire time. I think the compounding effect will be huge.
It feels like a failure to decrease my output, but I think it'll help get me closer to my monetization goal (the better the videos, the more likely they are to "hit the algorithm")
(also, I'm glad you liked the music transitions! I know nothing about sound design, but I was trying something new and I'm so glad it worked out. Also happy you found the "text screaming" joke funny lol, I kept laughing at it while editing too)

On day 45 myself with a brand new channel, 400 subs and 80k views... But I'm afraid the content is too niche to grow beyond 5k subs

I actually tried before! They didn't work out for me - I talk more about it in this video: ua-cam.com/video/Izmx3UVjNIc/v-deo.html , but essentially I got over 2X the views on Shorts as I did on long-form videos, but only a tiny fraction actually converted to subscribers. For what I've experienced on my own channel, it's much better to put that effort into more long-form videos, when it comes to sub conversion
