Sounds like it's crackling way too much on the overrun. I was warned with mine that it could be lean-pop, and could eventually burn the valves. I fitted much bigger jets, problem fixed!

I dont know how old are u but i'm 24 and i like old bikes too.may be becouse their massive or may be its just the looks.now i own 1993 twin headlight fireblade and i love it.i also owned the same blade but the model was 1995.love them both.before them i was riding gsxr 750 1993 but i didnt like it that much.it was heavy and uncomfortable but the looked like serial killer!CHEERS!!

I had the 1992 gsxr750W and my last was the 1995 cbr900rr urban tiger. Loved the blade!
Had same color 1991 1100. I would still be riding it today if it wasnt for the "incident".
