Only thing that was missing was a Salah's goal. Everything else was amazing
Yeah, Mo looked so deflated at the end as well. He's never happy when he's not bagged at least an assist.
Hit the inside of the post twice.. almost.
Tbh
His dribbling & movement terrorised Milan fr🔥
@@andaredvex Mo would have certainly scored if Jota passed him the ball!
22 shots, 11 on target, 2 times Mo hit inside the bar. It could have been 5-1 easily!
Salah soooo unlucky with two glorious shots hitting the crossbar and his 3rd attempt on goal the keeper had to full stretch to keep out..what a player
The greatest player in Liverpool history.
@@Neezabjathat's still the golden boy
Steve Nichol just said what I always said about Rafel leao. He has talent but is so laid back and almost looks like he is just hanging out at the field. Just standing around and then he will go for a good dribble taking on defenders then disappears again for awhile. No urgency, no helping defense. What a waste of talent ! if he could only put in some hard work off the ball.
Incredibly overrated
He's not a "winner"; he's an entertainer (and it's to his and (Milan's) determent).
He is lazy i said before, if he work hard he can one of best player in the world
RL is eden hazrd
To be fair none of those Milan players looked like they did well defending ..shape looked good but it was so easy to play around them.
Gravenberch hardly tackles its just positioning and reading the game
Thats the most insane part to me, the ability to read the game is something that only improves with age so if hes that good at reading the game at his current age than imagine aa he reaches his prime
@@Drizzlybear1 ryan is a box to box midfielder along the lines of clarence seedorf
Ryan Gravenberch is going to have to change his name to "Gravy" bertch all this time LFC fans have been crying for a proper DM to replace Fabinho and now we finally got one.
That's the thing hes not a "proper DM" in the traditional sense which is why so many fans doubted him. The thing is Slot's system doesnt use a traditional destroyer type DM, he likes a mord dynamic player
Gravenberch is insane
Does he have a mental problem?
Insane in the membrane
We played well all the games except forest because he played well, forest game he played well, but not as much other 4 games. That is the one of the reason we lost against fores.
@@onlydbrasko I only think that stuff. You actually wrote it down! Nice!!
That game might have been easier than the 3-0 United one
Yeah it was easy tbf
One nil first 3 minutes i though it was over but Liverpool proved me wrong YNWA 😂
The first goal was completely konate's fault. Idk where why he was running away from pulisic instead covering him. Atleast he scored to redeem himself but other than that Milan didn't created that many clear cut chances
Italian clubs are at Burnley levels rn ..it should be easy
5 years of building a Milan team to compete has failed massively...
They need a top coach to make that happen
@@billydedon3008 they need good player first.
@@billydedon3008They had one and somehow didn't think he was good enough, so they replaced him with a guy whose resume doesn't even come close

Yeah same with me i thought we should of got rid of GRAVENBERCH in the TRANSFER WINDOW and that's why I'm not the LIVERPOOL MANAGER😂
And your not a baller😂🤡
I never thought that. For some reason when Klopp decided to play him it was always on the left side of midfield, along with Robinson and whoever was operating as winger. He seemed to be constrained by Klopp's tactics and suffered with his confidence, but you could still see he had an ability to glide past opponents. How Klopp preferred Jones to Gravenberch even when Jones had a poor game is a mystery to me.
Once Fonseca is sacked, the new coach should only play Leao if they’re up by 3 at the 80th minute
in fairness to Fonseca, (who I agree was not the correct hire) he did bench Leao two games ago.
Not enough mention of a MacAllister masterclass today! Yes, Grav & Szobo played well, but Maca played a nearly perfect game
No he didn't. I thought he was outshone by both the other midfielders and Gakpo when he helped out on the left side of midfield.
Macca was easy to beat. Never went in for a challenge
Abrahams had a good cameo, gave our defence problems in the shot space of time he was on the pitch
Our attack IS bonkers. Diaz, Nunez, Gakpo, Salah, Jota, Chiesa. I want to see more of that spirit Gakpo had last nite he played like he had a point to proove. Diaz IS a Monster so it's going to be and interesting Season on the left flank.
Should've been ten, I'm on board for this Slot's ball
mate that's a bit much
the big clubs are playing against champions league teams this week while the minnows are playing the likes of barnsley, huddersfield etc and getting hyped up like crazy 😂😂
There's nothing big about Liverpool, we all know that. They will not win the league or the ucl!!
Ryan always had potential. The coach gave him a chance and he's improving.
Ryan and Cody is on 🔥🔥🔥
Milan were really poor! By far LFC's easiest challenge of the season thus far tbh.
Was Milan really poor or was Liverpool really good to make them look poor?
@@kiwijohn59 no mate Milan were really poor! We've had tougher tests against Ipswich and Nottingham Forest ffs. Milan were more open and adventurous sure but they just didn't have the quality to play the ball out the back.

@@SkywalkerXxX Hopefully, right now my English Team, Arsenal isn't doing so great for the last 20 years (trophy wise)
You can’t take the game to Liverpool. Team need to play discipline, low block and be brave against Liverpool.
Like forest.
Good to see Diaz only played 30min.
Gakpo so good this game, he can play as striker this weekend
6:41 finally someone asking the questions about Leao. He should have dominated Liverpool's full backs but he just seemed to drift in and out of game.
Craig's right. A winger as big, skillfull and quick as Leao should be dominating games like this, especially from a physical standpoint. He is the player that worried me the most because Liverpool do tend to struggle against physical and pacy wingers because of the high line. There were times I forgot he was still playing.
Trent is a better defender than you think. Konate is amazing on the cover and Gravenberch fills in.
Trent has won a champions league and a league title. He can defend you know lol
@@UrchinnsTell him to do that when he meet vini in round 5😂😂😂
@Urchinns I expect Leao to beat most defenders. And like I said, Liverpool's structure is vulnerable to wide players and quick transitions especially if they lose the ball. As we saw over the weekend and with Pulisic goal.
A player like Leao should have been rubbing his hands in anticipation because he knows he will get chances. I didn't see him make the most of any of them with the exception of that last shot when the game was already lost.
Too much pornhub
Leao is good against small teams. Quite a useless player in big matches. He hasn't got the mentality and never will
Cody look like he was in euros and Ryan was fantastic in every game so far, definitely going to be a few set backs for Liverpool this season which is to be expected with new systems.
Can we finally retire the lazy pundit false label that Trent Alexander Arnold can’t defend? He was up against Leao the best winger in Serie A and had him in his pocket the entire game. It not the first time he has been against an elite winger or forward and marked them out of the game, but lazy pundits use this label every time he makes a slight mistake as short-hand
Leao is overrated kid
You're delusional.
@@_A7Xfact not living up to the hype 😂
He can't defend. Rafael had him on toast.
Liverpool won because they didn't play against Nottingham Forest...AC Milan is a League One level club
Alexis Mac Allister is such a maestro. He generally goes unnoticed when in facilitating role like his Brighton days.
This midfield trio is very exciting. If they run a few seasons together the ceiling is insane, they are still in their early and mid-twenties. They can be a legendary outfit of their generation.
Re "Gravenberch": other than playing in a diff position, maybe Dutch can comm with another Dutch better i.e. Slot gave G. confidence? 👌👌

Ok so can Slot start Nunez now ahead of jota?? Jota has bn missin some good goal scorin opportunities since the last 2 to 3 games...
Exactly
Yeah, they're being used the wrong way around. Nunez is much better when he starts and jota is much better coming off the bench.
My lawd you Nunez cult members please find a new club.
@@Patrick-uh8xj Why is it being a cult member wanting someone else to start over Jota who has been poor so far this season and Gakpo can't play as the main striker
Stop chatting nonsense about Reijnders. He is better at AM than as a DM. But I understand as he is best as a CM in a 433
Gravenberch is a revelation
This is what Liverpool players in the middle of the park and even in the defence should be doing, helping the team to score when the front 3 are choked. Our set pieces must always be sharp as it is in this match. Set pieces help to break down low block teams like the last Premier League match against Nottingham at Anfield. The next match at Anfield against Bournemouth is not going to be different from what Nottingham did so, set pieces must be our weapon to dismantle them. Gravenberch is becoming a monster in the midfield, he was immense. His performance curve is increasing exponentially and I really wish he keeps getting better in this form and avoids injury. He was my MOTM by miles. Salah did what Salah does but it was quite unfortunate he hit the woodwork twice with such ferocity and for the first time in a long time Salah won several duels. Anyone who observed Jota well since the season started will agree with me that he's better a sub in most games than being a starter. Nunez would do better if given more starting time. He had an excellent chemistry with Salah. FSG should renew that fvcking contract for the big 3 without further delay.
This AC Milan side in the premier league would be top 15!
So true, and not just them, all the seria a team are bad except inter
@@TonyJaa-247 Don't forget juve. they're playing well.

@@TonyJaa-247Remember that Liverpool was destroyed 3-0 at home by Atalanta 4 months ago. So I would reconsider your statement.
I jave been thinking the same about Leao. He is a talent but seems to lose interest
Never thought i'd see the day in which Pulisic is the only player on the squad of AC Milan in form..glad to see it though. He's basically the only player the fans arent ready to kill, him and Abraham
Gravenberch is the TRUTH
"the truth" Grow up 😅
I could not believe Maldini ,Nesta , Kaka played for this club. Would be bottom mid level club if Milan played in PL.
Milan simply don’t belong in this tournament . Ownership has ensured that their time in the CL will be limited.
We needed Gab on this segment
Steve Nicol make your mind please 🙏
Good result by the reds! AC Milan were poor though. A shadow of former sides.
Raphael Leao was marked out! I like it when they underrate Trent's defensive abilities 😂
defense for Milan continues to be a problem
Going forward we really have to find a solution for low block teams because our normal style of play has never worked against them even under klopp. I hope slot is an even better tactition than our legendary klopp and todays set piece goals should be the way forward against low block teams who stifle our attackers and frustrate our rhythm. Totally demoralises an opponent when they concede from a corner😊
Fantastic performance by vvd and konte
We didn't play like we belong to Champions League. So terrible, this is a banter era performance from Milan. We won the scudetto 3 years ago and made it to CL semis, and instead of building on that team, the management decided to sack Maldini and tear that team apart, and cheaped out on players and coaches, Destroying all that progress.
Bring on Endo, he is a midfield maestro
Early scare but it was honestly pedestrian from then on .
Szoboszlai’s touch is still too heavy. He still looks low on confidence.
There are lot of premierleague rejects in this Milan side. Also Leao needs to step up and probably work on his mentality. The core of the team is rather weak. In the past the core was Pirlo-Gattuso-Seedorf-Maldini who played together almost 10 years. These players lack that mentality + experience. The midfield of current Milan is bunch of nobodies.
Is that the same PULISIC who played for CHELSEA??
Yes

its really difficult to watch stevie, most knowledgable people who watch lfc closely saw how good gravenbach was towards the end of last season and were excited to see him this year. Whereas, stevie nicol pundit, just doesnt possess the ability to see what a top player somebody is as he's suited to the job of pundit, where you can just say stupid things over and over and over again.
Taking a leaf out of the Arsenal book. VVD and Konate scoring.
Oh so only Arsenals defenders score do they...got you 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I am so saddened, when looking at football in isolation, ac milan have fallen so far similar to Man U, so bad in terms of playing well and asserting dominance, i will go and watch the highlights of seedorf, kaka, cafu, crespo, maldini, sheva, pirlo, gattuso...real milan players
Fonseca wont last long.
Alegri is available...So is Sarri...haha
I thought AC were so talented where they have to analyze that origi has no business with the first team,Leao and morata has not diff from origi,I think they should give origi a chance,he always deliver when needed
AC Milan is not the team anymore it used to be....on the contrary....it is far away from Kaka-, Schewtschenko- and Maldini-times.
i kindda knew this was usual Pool not the Forest one the moment they made use of possession and created actual chances? In the Forest game they were ponderous and had a low tempo! in all other games this season so far Pool move the ball forward quickly and decisive in the final 3rd?
