I only tracked down the last two AJ Lee's; the Love Bites and Rib Cage shirt versions. I feel that the Love Bites version scan captures her twisted grin, alot better then the previous four. The first two basic releases make her look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, with his stupid Horse Grin. The Elite figure is a horrible outfit, and the face is weird. Also, plaid should never be any color, other than Blue or Red. Green plaid looks like a Leprechaun chased a clover salad down with 8 pints of ale, and then instant chundered it all up. The Rib Cage version was the best likeness, I just wish it had a more "wicked" expression. She looks melancholic, which makes it a bit of a sad figure considering her mental history in real life. But that is also what made me get her, because if you stand her back to back on the shelf with the Love Bites figure, she looks like a figure statement for her bipolarism. Sad and iconic, somehow.
Lol I love your comparisons! And a good way to know that she has had horrible scans is everyone seems to have a different one that they think is the best. I hope (doubt) one day we can get a true FX fig of her that ACTUALLY looks like her 🤟🏻
Def disappointing when the only Elite is in the middle of the pack of 5 Basics. Elite 21/Basic 53 best bodies/attires. Basic 30 best head/face. Kitbash anyone?🤔
