      I took an in person training but if your overwhelmed with it all I recommend to take an online training. You can learn at your own pace and take it slow. I just launched my beginner classic course. With over 20+ comprehensive videos to help you start your lash career. You will get certified once you complete the course. But again you can learn at your own pace and take it easy or go as fast as you want. But don't be overwhelmed take the leap. Nothing will ever get done if you overthink it. Trust yourself that you can do it. I have my website linked in the description or you can go to www.yoyislashbeauty.com for more information on my beginner course.

But if I take a lash course online and get certified, does that mean I can do lashes on anybody since I'm certified?

    Also wanted to ask for wispy sets and hybrid sets, do you change the curl or is the same curl being used?

    I loooove your videos! So much helpful information and I'm experienced but it still helps me to see these. How do you set up your phone or camera to take these videos? I'd love to know what light you use. The video is just at a really good angle and I'm trying to figure out how to make content for instagram and youtube. Thank you xx

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  2 роки тому

      Aww thanks hun 😘 I use tripods and I still struggle with the angles so I'm working on it. And I use my Cosmoglo Light plus another LED strip light and I also have my bed against a window for more lighting. So the more lighting the better. Sometimes my camera blocks the light if I set it a certain angle so I have to make sure I have light from other directions to be able to light up the area that I'm working on. So my recommendations is good lighting plus good tripod with a goose neck that bends so your able to adjust your camera at the angle you need it.

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  2 роки тому +1

      The numbers on the top mean the spikes so the longer lenghts. The smaller numbers at the bottom are the filler lenghts. Too numbers longer lenghts bottoms numbers shorter lenghts. That's what creates the whispy look

    After you make your fans and dip it once and slide it in the slit. Do you dip it again in the glue before applying it on the lash?

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  Рік тому +1

      Yes. The first time around it's only to crystalize (harden) the fan so it doesn't open up on you. So you need fresh glue to stick on the natural lash.

  • @ChiannaNicole
    @ChiannaNicole Рік тому

    When using that flower cup for the glue do you throw it out every 15-20 minutes and replace the cup with new glue? Or do you use the same glue the whole time

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  Рік тому

      Flower cups have 2 glue inserts so your able to use both those glue slots. And not sure if you know this but when your glue is in an enclosed space like that it lasts a lot longer so you won't be needed to replace it as frequent. It won't get stringy and tacky that's why I love the flower cups. So i can go a whole hour or more without changing out the the glue nor does it affect my retention. I've been doing this method for years so i can say with my personal experience you don't need to switch out the glue frequently as long as your room temperature and humidity is on point. I also live Ina dry place so the humidity doesn't affect my glue as much so if you live in a place with high humidity it might affect the glue more so yes switch it out more frequently if you notice your glue getting tacky. Rule of thumb if your glue is not tacky your able to use it longer. That's how I know when it's time to switch it out. But again using the flower cup the glue is enclosed meaning the glue will last longer and go a longer way. But yes once I fill up the slots I will get a new flower cup. The most I use for one session is one flower cup. I see no point of wasting product like that.

    girlll im starting on my journey, i have a question for u, can i use 16 to 20mm lashes in 0.15, 0.10 and 0.07? or only 0.05 and 0.03?

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  2 роки тому +2

      Oh no. That's way to heavy. The longest I'll go on classic lashes is 15mm ONLY if my client has looking thick lashes. And that's rare. Remember the thicker the lash the heavier the weight and adding long lengths only adds more weight and that will only damage your clients lashes. So for .10-.15-.18.20 stick to short lenghts. Even for .05 and .03 anything above 17mm is real long and heavy again if you client has long thick healthy long lashes then ok but to do 20mm is crazy long and heavy. At the end of the day it's up to you but remember the longer the lash they heavier it is. The thicker the lash the heavier it is. And if your using looking heavy lashes on thin small lashes you'll end up damaging the natural lash.

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  2 роки тому +2

      I recommend to only do it at the beginning. Primer dehydrates the lashes and preps the natural lash for application. It will do nothing afterwards if your goal is to seal the glue with primer you'll be affecting it than doing more good. So use the products according to what they are meant for. ❤️

I just loved the products so much that I would mention them. I left them back in July because I wanted to work on my own brand and not feel tied down to one brand. And I've just been loving other brands at the moment. But I am not apart or affiliated with any other brand. Just doing my own thing.

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  Рік тому +1

      I agree. It can be a real bright. What I tell my clients is with their eyes closed to look down and not straight up. Even when I used to get lash extensions when I would look straight ( with my eyes closed) I would see the light through my eyelids and I would get very sensitive and wouldn't stop tearing so I noticed that when I would look down or away from the light (still with my eyes closed) the light wouldn't bother me as much. Lash artist need the light super bright to be able to see each individual hair so if they turn down the brightness it'll be hard for them to see that's why I highly recommend to try this out and see if it helps
