What a strange little page... about vacuums??? Anyway, this was actually very helpful. I bought one of these at a thrift several years ago, but it was missing some of the attachments. Worked fine but I decided it was time to buy a new one. After watching this video, I changed my mind and ordered the missing attachments from Hoover. Glad I didn't go out and spend hundreds of dollars on a new one. Thanks man.
I would love to get my hands on an American vacuum cleaner one day! Now you have the transformer though Alex, you HAVE to buy more!! Don't worry about the video length, I watched it all the way through and enjoyed every second, as I do with every video you upload.
I have 2 Elites, One is just like that but its maroon, and my other was my Great Grandma's and it is a Hoover Dirt Finder. I like their low pitched noise.
Cleaning Effectiveness Per Amp was how Hoover allowed customers to compare their vacuums to each other. Kind of odd, but I never really listened to it. My neighbor's Dimension was 17 as well, but my grandma's Windtunnel Supreme was like a 33 or something.
That’s not a quadroflex roller those were on the concept uprights and some of the celebrity canisters that had a plastic strip right behind the brushstrip in one piece. Those metal bars on the sole plate are to prevent you from sucking in the edges of rugs as well other things but primarily to keep from sucking in rugs

And what exactly is that meant to mean?

I love hoover elite vacuum cleaners. any type of hoover elite or windtunnel or legacy.
Having trouble finding a belt for this thing here in America. It's a great vacuum, however. Blows-away my Bissel.

Marcello Colotario Strange how information like that was printed on the machine and wasn’t printed on a removable sales sticker.
I have the seafoam green version of this with the scent tablet. It is a nice machine, but I would really love to have the white version like this one.

I'm still waiting on you to change the belt. Been waiting a couple years now.
How about now
Leave it to the English to take the time to refurbish an American vacuum. Great Job!
How did you remove the outer bag to wash it? I don't have the users manual for mine and it's difficult finding any information on this.
I will make a quick video for you showing you how to do it, might be easier and less confusing.

Very nice! Thank you, I will look forward to the video.
I have the same but its red
The under side hight adjuster has rust on it :(
Indeed...it is quite common for this on a cleaner 20+ years old...as it is always in contact with the floor where the floor could be wet.
