Nice roleplaying there! (handing the data over to Zoe "for profit") I don't think i'd be able to to that myself. She really is outrageous. Some "spoilers" (way further down) if you hand it over to Louisa instead: The sad part is that you get the same amount of credits from Louisa if i remember right - which doesn't really fit the implications of that decision at all. Aditionally Zoe actually is behind that whole scam if i am not mistaken and you get those missions for the trade authority anyhow.
Yes you get the same from Louisa and also we know right away that Zoe is a bit shady. I’ve never seen anyone pay more money than the other person yet in dealings like this.
Fox I love how your still on New Atlantis while so many other channels just rushed the main story which is something I highly recommend no one do, more so with Starfield than any other BGS IP like Elder Scrolls or Fallout. Can't say why for spoiler reasons but there's people who just rushed through the main story because people recommended they do so and had an awful time as that wasn't how they wanted to play the game. I personally went straight to exploring the galaxy and did not start the main questline until 30 hours into the game, basically had the first quest where you get Sarah as a follower and that's it. Then I did the meanwhile and even at that I still wish I did more side quests over 50 hours into the game. In terms of the map, yeah I do agree we do need an actual map but you get used to it and by a few hours you kind of just naturally know how to find everything. I do recommend opening the scanner with "F" for space travel as you can jump to local system planets from your cockpit display or other systems instead or going into the map view. Same with landing on a planet you can use the scanner and it will show landing points on your display.
@@MentalFox No problem. Also BGS released an update on things they'll be adding like FOV, Ultra Wide support etc. But one of these was city maps so I expect we'll be seeing City maps over the next few weeks in an update.
Yeah, I didn't buy into people recommending to finish the main story first. I've been playing it like I play any other Bethesda game, explore and do side quests.
Unfortunately a lot of the cargo missions require a lot of cargo storage capacity. Wich means you'll need a lot more cargo space on your ship. You can outfit your ship with more cargo holds if you can figure out how ship design works
Not sure if it helps any, but when you walked to that back door, there was loud music playing nearby. Not sure if any of the shops or vendors in the well have any music playing that I have heard yet. 🤔
@MentalFox Since there are apartments down there too, perhaps it was coming from one of those. Might be why it was louder when close to the one wall but a little quieter by the door if that opens to a hallway?!? The mystery MUST be SOLVED! I'm invested now. 🤣 Edit: I rewatched some episodes and found your door..... so did you. You just didn't realize it was the door you were looking for. Let me know if you want me to point it out or just give you clues or let you explore on your own. I don't think you finding the door spoils anything for you quest wise thus far that I can tell.
Unrelated to this video, but after looking through the playlists you have and seeing how you tend to play games in general, I'm quite surprised that you've not done a playthrough of Outer Wilds (NOT The Outer Worlds, 2 completely different games). A game based around gathering information and rich lore to uncover mysteries of an ancient alien race seems right up your alley since you tend to read as much as you can in games. So a game where it's a main goal and has a payoff for taking it all in would at least in theory have great chemistry with you, even though it's not an RPG in any way.
I sampled the Outer Wilds (ua-cam.com/video/a68y1RsNa_Y/v-deo.html) and meant to go back and play the whole thing but never got around to it. It seems like a really cool game.
Well if you ever get a blank time slot, I think it would be well worth your while to come back to it. It really is one of those games that never leaves you.
That's my guess as well. There are several planets named after astronauts/cosmonauts in this game that I've seen so far: Grissom, Gagarin, Bondar (not an "astronaut' by profession, but Roberta flew as a Payload Specialist for England on a shuttle mission). There are probably more.
So glad I found this playthrough. I've had so many moments of laughing out loud already. That "howdy" (19:38) had me giggling so much!

This, exactly..... I stopped watching 3 other playthroughs because they were rushing through. So much opportunity for content just wasted.

42:30 it might be the contraband indicator? Not sure though.
I think you might be right about that.
You can take all available missions and do them at your leisure and convenience.
I love this city. So cool!
The guy in the Well who works in electronics sells digipicks, usually.
You can completely overhaul the frontier and make it more spacious and add more cargo space. Its a great idea to imvest perks in ship design

Ah yes that's right! Sounded like there was a party going on.

Show all targets will show markers for all of your missions.
WAIT IT DOES ????????????????? I didnt notice that
I'm just here to say "well well well"
You can walk 1245 meters in that direction and run into that unknown thing
For now you are allowed 2 crew and vasco. Vasco doesnt take up crew slots.

Also would love to see him play Outer Wilds. Very cool colorful game. Great story.

The first African-American female astronaut to travel into space was Mae “Jemison”. Could be the reason for the planets name?

Ah you're right about that. Pretty cool!
This game looks so boring
If your not into rpgs then it will be boring for you. I love rpgs though.
