THE FORMULA DIFFERENCE *
Formula Flagship Graphics on the hull-sides are Imron® metallic paint that explodes in the sunlight and will never fade or chalk. A paint scratch is an easy fix compared to costly and noticeable gel-coat repairs.
316L grade stainless steel for bow-rails, handrails, rub-rails and cleats. The stainless steel screws and deck-mounted hardware are chromium dipped adding an additional barrier against surface corrosion. The hardware backings have o-ring seals and backing plates to endure constant tugging stresses while maintaining a water-tight seal and stress distribution.
Electrical connections are individually crimped and sealed with heat shrink tubing to ensure a moisture tight seal.
The vinyl upholstery is Nautolex® base white vinyl that is the highest grade available formulated with anti-microbials to prevent mildew and mold. The vinyl is finished with Pre-Fixx® treatment that provides extra durability to sunlight exposure and is easy to clean.
Cockpit cushions have Dri-Fast® foam treated with mold and mildew inhibitors. Water passes directly through the foam cushion through venting holes under each cushion.
All cockpit upholstery and canvas are sewn with Tenara® thread made by Gore™ originally developed for the awning industry and provides long lasting strength from exposure to the sun and elements.
The Bimini top and cockpit covers are made with Sunbrella® canvas backed with SeaMark™ lining delivering a water-tight seal eliminating any additional maintenance or using sealants or treatments to prevent water seepage.
Fiberglass tubs with drains and gel-coat finish are individually bonded to the hull in the cockpit area under all seat storage's and anchor/chain locker.
Safety equipment is standard in every Formula and includes a high water alarm, fume detector and fire extinguisher.
