I bought this suit in July and thought the jacket was really comfy to wear and same with the trousers happy bunny until on tour in Scotland I found a rip in the outer material on my left leg (nothing I had done) took it back to dealer and they got it repaired under warranty I just didn't expect such problems from Rukka when its never happened with other so called lesser brands.
Difficult for me to comment. Rukka gear is as well made as any, so problems like the one you cite are rare, but not unheard of. This may come down to fit, as seams normally break if too much pressure is exerted on them, and in this respect the Comfo-R with its stretch is much more forgiving. This having been said, a seam still shouldn’t go. I’m glad it got repaired, but I know it disappoints people when things like this go wrong on expensive gear. I’m sorry it happened to you, but at least you get a six-year warranty, and of course a waterproofing guarantee for life. CP.
@@Motolegends it was the inside seam below the left knee down the side of the shin so not under any pressure but like you said at least they did a full repair and got them back now. 👍
The next jacket i will buy from you
Sounds like a decent and honest man who knows his stuff. I take of my hat to the chap in the hat. 😃
Point of correction chap. If it doesn't have forcefield body armour it doesn't have the most protective body armour.
Sorry, that’s just bollocks. There’s much more protective armour; although I would admit that there’s little that’s as Heath Robinson in the way that it is cobbled together. I don’t say this in defence of D3O, but Forcefield is in no way a benchmark. CP
rukka jackets are top
It’s an almost impossible job that you do Chris and most of us think you do it extremely well so thank you and please continue. I do have a question, when did the A ratings begin. I have a 20 year old Yoko suit and can’t find any such labels. The suit has been amazing but in all honesty it’s coming to the end of its life and I’m not sure what to get next, what I do know is it will almost certainly come from Motolegends.
