What are Logic Gates? And how do they work? Most common logic gates are AND, OR, NOT, and XOR (exclusive OR gate). These logic gates are devices made out of Field Effect Transistors (FETs). Logic gates are used to made logic circuits, which can be used to form encoders, multiplexers, arithmetic logic units, microprocessors, and many other devices. Understanding the fundamentals of these logic gates is extremely important for FPGA programming and logic design. Additionally, I'll talk about the Verilog HDL syntax for logic gates as well. I'm Excited to help you learn and understand this concept!
My name is Greidi and I'm an Electrical Engineer, I'm here to help you understand the basic concepts of Logic gates. Let me know if there are topics you would want me to elaborate on! Although this video is intended for beginners, if are already familiar Logic gates and how they work, I hope you can still gain some knowledge from this video - let me know how I did. Every Wednesday I'll post a new video on my UA-cam channel, similar to this one! (Sorry I'm a day late with this video - I had technical problems with the video and audio)

Best explanation of Logic Gates out there. Most videos stops at the truth tables level without showing the transistor schematics, but thanks to them you can really grasp the real thing occurring inside the processor, awesome series, well done!
Excellent explanation. Waiting for more videos on concepts of FPGA programming on verilog
Cool! Very different in concept than power switching design where a pull up / pull down resistor plus one switchmode device can be used to give a definite state to an output. I've tried reading up without too much success on why pull up / pull down reisistors (or even resistor buffered by an nFET or pFET) and why diodes putting 2 inputs into one pFET to create a resistor-less bias isn't used.
This man is so kind! 🥺
Nice video
You made it from ground to high level
Thank you sir
Thank you man :-) I find the large words popping up everywhere a bit distracting
Thks
can't seem to find a cheap xilinx board, could you check your link again? it is not working for me.
love youuuuuuu
Can you suggest me how can I learn embedded systems at home????
Please reply me
Hope you enjoyed this video! What has been your experience with logic gates?...I'm excited to hear your thoughts on this!
