It's not so low budget. Not Game of Thrones funding, but much better quality low budget TV-seried. Someone said "like Xena and Hercules". Xena had some pretty amazing episodes in the end side, espcially thouse in China, but this is wayyyyy higher production than those. A good TV show quality. And yeah, well written, that's what I love it in the most. Of course yeah Jessica is gorgeous but doesn't need to be the series to be awesome and worth to watch. Just a cherry on the top.

The outpost is a great show, even with low budget, the mystery is great to watch unfold, the acting brings you into the world of the show, the effects really don't impact the show very badly and Jessica Green is better than Megan Fox for sure, I ship Talon and Janzo ❤️ despite what happened in ep10 no spoilers!
I just finished watching the Outpost. I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to Season 2! It's a low-budget show, but not every show needs to have the production cost of Game of Thrones. The Outpost is among my top favourite shows, which are all actually somewhat low budet - BBCs Merlin, BBCs Robin Hood, BBCs The Musketeers and now SyFys The Outpost.
I fell in love with Jessica seeing her for the first time as Cleopatra and the Roman Empire TV series on Netflix. Now I have to catch her on The Outpost. Maybe I can also find her Australian show Alien Surfer Girls?
For low budget it is very good show. It looks better and has better visual effects and cgi then some higher budget shows. I would like to see season 2 and without Jessica show wouldn't be good as it is. Great actress. :)

Watched the outpost this wk,granted its low budget however the people do work well togethor and the acting is a little rusty here and there.With tnat being said the show does have potential,would like to see The outpost make several seasons,just not for eye candy becuase its not another reality tv show game show etc.Keep up with the training and hope to see the out post season 2 and beyond.

That tagline is what drew me in to the show, I had no idea what the character Talon looked like. Just felt like i could relate to character's backstory. So i gave the show a green light to try out and gave it a go. And damn I glad I did, that girl stole my heart and attention with her savage moves and her determination. And quite obviously those piercing green eyes that flash with such fire and ferocity on the screen. she has such a captivating presence that keeps you wondering when she will appear and how she intends to deal with the situation. She really sells that cat backed into the corner-ness of the character. in the alley scene she doesn't seem so skilled with the sword, yet jarringly in the next episode she makes short work of several men before she is captured in the tavern scene before her arrest, which i can felt was slightly weird though. That guy in the alleyway didn't seem that much more skilled than the tavern guys, but then that can be chalked up to her first real time combat experience where she had to actually take some one down. He was some big to do haughty military commander of some kind i guess after all. But getting back to the actress herself, wow blew my mind, she is flippin gorgeous. Every smile leaves a dude like me feeling punch drunk. lol and in the interview that Queensland accent is like music from some ethereal otherworldly realm when she speaks. Even though her accent isn't used in the show that sultry voice works effectively in her delivery of her lines and her portrayal of the character. One thing , I don't know why the interviewer had to compare her to somebody else famous. This Jessica Green is so unique in her look that i struggle to find any actress who remotely resembles her. That face is just so beautiful, she's a 'make me feel like a deer frozen in the headlights kind of beautiful'. I hope to see her really get a big boost in her career from this show, bigger and better things and all that good stuff. Imma keep watching and I hope other's do to. It's seems like the start of something good, just need to see more character development and some lore introduced within the next five episodes. but it's only been 2 episodes at the time of writing this so I'm still in this. Looking forward to ep#3 and I am already instantly a big sudden fan of Jessica now at any rate. take care peoples.

One of my favorite shows on the air at present. Not only is her character great, but she isn't perfect. She has her foibles, as do the males characters in her orbit. Everyone gets a fair shake, and I appreciate the writing very much for not going woke, intersectionally feminist or identity politic. The Outpost is one of those rare shows that hits all the right beats, and develops its characters. I don't care a whit about production values - they're fine. You have to suspend some disbelief as it is to watch, and what, you have a problem with how the walls look? Come on . . . It occurred to me watching season 4 if they're maybe moving into a bit of science fiction territory . . . but I digress. The show is great, and I hope it has enough time to tell its story, and that the show runners know when to write the words "The End" . . .
The series is really well written! Both the world and the story. It's so well written I was hoping they didn't have any of the comical characters, because this is adult level fantasy story, not some thirteen in a dozen entertainment. Yeah, humour is good, comical characters not so much. The Outpost where the series starts, is a small fort, but to me it's not a low budget series. If it is, they've done wonders. The armors and outfits are great, the interior houses are real well done and there's big numbers of people and armes, could be some are computer enhanced like armies nowadays tend to be, but I haven't been able to tell that: looks all real people to me. The demons are quite well enough done, I have no complains about their CGI, the plaguelings are also well done. Them grayskins and and bonewolves in the 1st season were the only CGI that wasn't high quality. To me the series is quite high TV series quality, and season 2 higer than season 1. I' can't wait season 3, ehat cliff hanger season 2 ended!

Thumb up and can't wait the 3rd season! After the irritating Gate Marshal Wythers (hated his villaneous talk style) was played out, there is only one character I barely stand to watch: Janzo. It's too over-acted, a failed clown. Munt is a better comic relief. My fav characters are Talon and Naya, now after Rebb is no more. IMHO, they should have invested into this big time. The material is very good.
She was quite good and sexy as Cleopatra in the docuseries Roman Empire, though lacking the real-life Cleo's big nose. If Gal Gadot retires from Wonder Woman Jessica would be my first choice. She has the brilliant blue eyes of the comic book depictions.
