Iv made good money on old skatebords in the past look for old 70s to 90s ones i bought a 80s zorlac and a powell cabalero off one fella for a fiver sold them the same day for £120
Also old rc cars are a good earner look for tamiya kyosho and schumacha even in parts there sellable as projects i bought a tamiya celica and a hornet and a madcap for £10 and got £180 back on them theres a big following be lucky out there bro 🤘

The stall you got the tapes case, figures and records from, had a Darth Vader Sculpture kit on the floor. That easily sells for 20+ quid. Condition depending.
The De La Soul record only sells for 4-5 quid

Might be only 4 or 5 quid ,but collection piece that, don't come across de la soul much in the wild, sometimes not all about value.
This is from before reselling but when I lived in Alton I never used to find Country Market that good, Used to go to the hillside on just outside Alton. 9/10 times there was better stuff, and if you were selling you got more £ as it wasn't the Bordon pikeys going "oi mate 20p for that yeah" 😂

I'm no body language/psychology expert - but allow me to analyse the situation ...
1) She counts out the change as "5...6....7... there you are, sorry about the change" so she must have known she stopped at 8 by counting up to 7
2) When you say it's only £8, she doesn't stop or hesitate to try and remember the situation (I would expect she would have thought nothing of the sale after you took the change) she just says "are you sure" while reaching for the change pot anyway
3) Obviously couldn't quite tell with the blur in place, but it doesn't actually look as though she was looking at you when handing the £1 back, almost as if she couldn't face you after trying to swindle £1 out of you
I know I've probably taken it too seriously for the general unimportance of the situation anyway, 😂 but it's important to point these things out to anyone on the fence about it. I am on the intentional side of it 👍

Negotiating would mean you had a discussion with him and came to some kind of agreement. i think it was more a case of using your poker face to lower the price
