Caught myself with a smile on my face multiple times editing the video. It was really cool to share that fish with everyone in the tournament and it felt like everyone was genuinely hyped to see a fish that big come out of there. My main take away and hope is that we’re going to start seeing more fish that size (and hopefully bigger) moving forward.

One of the best part of this video other than your PB and lake record PB , is the fact that you get to experience this with your brother. I can assure you that this story will often be brought up at a family gatherings and will be passed on to your kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
You have GOT TO LOVE the high from not only catching a PB....but, when you are so pumped and then you just talk about it for the next 30 min....you "think" you have it figured out on how to catch em from then on, etc. lol. It's a fun feeling for sure. Sometimes we just get lucky, and trigger the right fish at the right time. Good job Matt!

Awesome job man. I love the jackhammer from March to May. Check out the Zako by Gary Yamamoto. My favorite color is Green Pumpkin Shad for the jackhammer and the Zako is Green Pumpkin something.
