"Why archers?" Because they're a cheap and efficient counter to the enemy's build with enough range to deal effective damage in spite of the amount of units on the screen. But, more importantly, because FLUTE! Always respect the flute. :)

He tk's your warden, and then rages on you being a tk'er afterwards.
It is a chance that he missclicked on warden with A for autoattack nearest enemy when clicking ground, but it is highly unlikely.
