It’s at least 10 years after the first Descendants movie and I don’t think we know Uma’s age from Descendants 2 or 3, but she probably is in her late 20s or early 30s in Red… and we know it’s 10 years after because Uma states that it’s been 30 years since Auradon was created… and in the first Descendents Mal states that it had been 20 years since the creation

I’ve heard a theory that Bridget always had red hair but she ate a flamingo feather every morning which is how she knew what happens when you eat more than one.
To give context to “Perfect Revenge” that is ULIANA, Uma’s aunt. Ursula’s little sister. Red and Chloe are in the past. The could not do Morgana since it would confuse the kids that didn’t watch the second movie of the Little Mermaid. So they made Uliana. It seems with Ursula, she’s much much older. Uma, by the way, in the present is in her early to late 20s. Mal and Ben, after getting married, made her principal so that Faye (Fairy Godmother) can retire.
Now, Uliana wants revenge against Bridget (Red’s mom) just because SHE didn’t listen to Bridget not to eat all the flamingo feathers. And apparently flamingo feathers in their world is REALLY rare. Bridget made flamingo feathered cupcake and turns things to pink. But everyone can only have ONE. Not too many or too much. Bridget warned Uliana but she didn’t listen and turned into a pink bird. That’s why they need the sorcerer’s cook book to prank Bridget. And yes, it seems it’s that prank that turned her into a dictator. But it seems like there’s more to it than what the VKs did, a lot of theories is there. Uliana and her group bullies Bridget (and Ella) a lot just because she’s a kind and sweet person. Bridget tries to befriend her still though. Because back then before she became Queen of Hearts, she still believed in Love in general and being kind. She makes mistakes but she still hopes that everything will be okay. Just a very positive person really.
The guy with the hook is literally Captain Hook, but if he was still a teen. Same goes for Hades which is a GREEK GOD. Morgie is Morgana Le Fey’s (Sorceress and Merlin’s either enemy and former student) son. Maleficent is there to show the kind of relationship she and Hades had before they had Mal. And Maleficent had said before to Mal that she was a shy girl apparently back then, so of course she didn’t know how to be truly evil and a leader to a group yet until she was much older. Hope this helps for the context.
“Life is sweeter” - this song was BEFORE the Perfect Revenge song. Bridget’s only friend like what the video said, is Ella (Cinderella). None of the schoolmates were Bridget’s friends at all. She’s practically, a loner and always bakes and gives to people to befriend them and get them to like her. Because, like her… uh… what she’s supposed to be, people are wary of her. Also, it’s because much like Red, Bridget was homeschooled and was finally given a chance to go to an actual school and make friends and learn more, so she doesn’t know too much how to get people to be her friend because some would have boundaries and whatever. 🤷🏻♀️
As for her hair… I think it’s because she’s still innocent and very sweet that she’s still all pink and bubbly. But as she grew older, she got to understand the world more clearly and her hair slowly turned red because she matured and understood how life can be. Red’s hair… well, growing up with a dictator mother, will make anyone mature and be serious way too early, I guess. But that’s my theory.
As for Jaladdin. I don’t know why they added that. But I’m guessing it’s because I think back then, kids would have said Jaladdin because combining couple’s names was a thing, so there’s that. And why they have a cameo is because their older parts were in the present, shown in the movies. And maybe they have more of an involvement for the future movies. As for the “She’s so attractive” it’s because kids wouldn’t think dirty of it. Adults will but the kids wouldn’t think much of it because attractive just really means you think they’re beautiful inside and out kind of thing.
As for the Reprise of the Life is Sweeter, it’s a moment with Red and her mom (who was now kind now because Red and Chloe managed to prevent the prank to happen). As you might have noticed, Red doesn’t know what love feels like because her mom at the time always seems to call her a disappointment. But now, Red can finally get that love and care from her mom.
But with every change of history, it has it’s consequences which hopefully will be shown in the fifth movie.
By the way, you missed one song. The “Shuffle of Love” song

Watching the jaladdin part is like a fever dream
Alright, context. In ‘Life Is Sweeter’ Bridget, Queen of Hearts in the past, the pink character, is handing out cupcakes each decorated with a flamingo feather, that is what’s giving people pink details btw. At the end of the song, Uliana eats all of the feathers, which is way to many to eat at once, and the feathers don’t only turn her pink, they partially turn her into a flamingo, which is why Uliana wants to find the ‘Perfect Revenge’, for partially turning into a flamingo.
Bridget did warn Uliana about not eating to many feathers but she did it anyways.
Kylie Cantrall is so flipping lucky tho. She gets to sing a song with China Anne McClain AND Rita Ora! must’ve been amazing.

Mal and Uma are the same age in Descendants, 16. Rise of Red is 10 years later making Uma 26 years old, possibly 25 or 27 depending on the month and how close to the exact 30 years after the Kingdom was formed. Mid 20s to a teenager is "middle aged" because they can't see past their own little universe.
That’s ursula’s little sister, uliana. Also, in the ‘Rise of Red’ present, the present time takes place just a few years after the 3 movies. So Uma, Mal, Ben, Evie, etc. (old descendants cast) should be in their 20s during Rise Of Red. Hope this helps 😊

In descendants 2 we see Mal getting a hair transformation which includes dying it. so dying your hair does happen in that universe. so Red more than likely has to dye her hair to fit her mothers red aesthetic.
Or Bridget just used to use those flamingo feathers to keep it that way. Yes they are rare but she is a princess, so it might be easy for her to get.
Also i don't really think trying to put logic on the people from wonderland will make sense😂. It is chaotic.

So red and Chloe go back in time to before Auradon prep is the school you see in the og movies. Back in time it was called Merlin’s academy.

I don’t know if you’re gonna read this but I have an explanation king, alright so Uma becomes the principal because Mal, Ben, Evie, and Jay are sailing off to create new partnerships with other lands (Basically creating a bong with other territories just in case). Then Chloe ( Blue Girl with Red ) and Red travel BACK in time to when their parents where in High school to figure out what happened to the Queen of Hearts ( Rita Ora ). So before Life Is Sweeter comes Bridget (Young Queen of Hearts) explains to Red that her cupcakes have a pink flamingo feather that enchants the cupcakes so that whoever eats them something they are wearing will turn pink but she says that eating to much will cause consequences. Life is Sweeter is before Perfect Revenge. At the end of Life Is Sweeter, Uliana who is the girl with tentacles steals Bridget’s cupcakes because she wants the feathers. Bridget tries to warn her about the consequences but Uliana doesn’t listens and she takes the feathers and eats all of the feathers after throwing the tray of cupcakes on the floor. This then makes Uliana face those unpredicted consequences and humiliate herself in front of the whole school. Blaming Bridget she seemed revenge so that’s why she was searching for the “Perfect Revenge” which was a cupcake with enchanted frosting that will turn Bridget into a monster.
That is Ursula's baby sister and because red's mom in the past had pink hair it because she used the pink feathers that turns everything into pink but after the mean prank she didn't use them anymore and got her natural red hair

A beekepping age reference in a descendants video is not something i ever expected.... but its the best thing i've seen in a long time.
The evil sea whitch in this one is Uliana Ursula’s younger sister so they did go way back. Uma in the future( present) is only in her like twenties and the girls are like 15-16 so that would make no sense as to how it could be Uma in the past.
In this movie the other villain kids from the previous movies, Mal and her friends graduated already, and Uma became the principal of the school, since the fairy godmother moved up in school ranks and yeah. If you’ve ever watched any of the multiple movies on Ariel, you’d notice that Ursula has many siblings that feature as villains too. So in this movie the tentacle woman is Ursula’s small sister, probably because they want to point out Ursula has multiple siblings canonically. So that’s Umas aunt, since Umas mom is Ursula. :)

On the hair color, I think it changes based on good/evil alignment or like you you feel like you are. Like for Mal she started off purple and then when she started to lose who she was it lost all color and became bleach blonde and then it gradually got more blue as she figured out who she truly is

His reaction when Young Prince Charming sang his ONE line. Yeah we need more of him singing too! I loved the tone of voice! Very much like the King Charming..I need more of their vocals and screen time. I would love to hear the young Cinderella and young Prince Charming singing their own version of “So This Is Love”. Since Queen Cinderella and King Charming sang a little bit of it in the movie. We definitely need a LONGER version.. a minute and some change is not enough!! I can listen to Brandy and Paolo humming and harmonies all day and night long! It’s so heavenly!

The super sweet girl with pink hair in the last song ends up becoming one of the worst villains in that universe, hence why red and blue gave that 😬 look when she said she hopes to become friends with everyone eventually

My theory about why Bridget has pink hair:
Her cupcakes make one thing about you pink, and since there are magical feathers above it, it has those magical attributes. But (*SPOILER ALERT*) after "Life is sweeter" Uma stole the tray of cupcakes and her hair and skin turned pink and gave her a flamingo beak. So in conclusion, bridget experimented with herself first that's why she has pink hair, and her natural dye is red. Anyways, good vid ❤😂

I would honestly love to see you react the all the movies after reacting to all the songs (if theres any left idfk)
But if you do, please react to them in order as much as you wanna watch rise of red first- I watched it like 3, 1, 2, 4 and I can guarantee it was very confusing 😭
Edit: also for the hair thing, actual hair can darken over time to I think that's what happened. And the children can get that hair. My mom used to have blonde hair in highschool and as a kid, but it darkened to brown and now I have brown hair, same with my sister.
