Taleworlds are pathetic, it took them over a decade to make a bland vanilla experience that's not much better than Warband other than graphics. Thank god for the modders.

This mod is the reason I decided to buy the game initially. Having enjoyed Gekokujo, Warband's total conversion Japan mod, I'm eagerly anticipating this project.
This has literally everything i wanted from base Bannerlord. Almost angry they had to make these features themselves honestly, but i'm definitely playing.
I was literally just playing Gekokujo, love the mod so much. Cant wait to see how in-depth the court mechanics get, working around political and religous factions, maybe even duels with lords, lots of cool stuff that could make its way in
I just saw your video, damn it's so much more informative. Love that you showed the post-battle looting entity on the campaign map! So I wasn't as far off with my assumptions lol

For example I wasn't sure we'd be able to sneak around the post battle location until you highlighted the looters in the background and showed their behaviour. Looking forward to the mod just as much as you are :D
Exactly the features I always expected vanilla Bannerlord to have: Real time raiding of a village, not a stupid option to click on. A camp for army management. It can be attacked and serves as a fort. Naval battle. Man TW is so lazy. Modders are carrying this game.

This mod right here is what Bannerlord should be, it wont just be a great mod for japan totak conversion rp, but also all of the extra features have me excited and remind me a bit of AWOIAF from Warband, the current GoT mods have no comparison to that one and I would really like every mos to avtuakly have what this mod is icorporating
I look forward to the naval battles and the ship varieties. Fingers crossed on Ming dynasty ships in the mod. Imagine a unique quest in a pirate cove where you discover the last of the Ming treasure ships...a lost giant that can be refitted an unmatched arsenal of cannons. Subarashiii
This mod keeps looking better and better, I'm so hyped to play it honestly. However, I really hope that they'll somehow manage to make the kingdom system somewhat more indepth, hopefully with court intrigues and some form of factions (pro-western, neutral and anti-western clans within your kingdom is what I'd imagine). I also hope that each daimyo clan will have different specialities, similar to how it may be done in Shogun 2, with the Oda Clan focusing on cheaper peasant troops, or the Otomo Clan following christianity. With that, I even hope religion will have a role in the mod too, seeing how in real life, there were christian daimyo (Otomo Clan) as well as christian hunts (predominantly later on, christians were actively hunted down and had to either convert back to buddhism/shintoism, or they were executed), Ikko Ikki uprisings (Ikko-shu being a militant branch of a buddhist school) while also having other buddhist schools and of course, Shintoism itself. They could become small, interesting aspects of managing your domain, while making a snowballing effect less likely, as your domain might launch insurgencies and large-scale rebellions if you're not managing it well. Maybe by working out a way with your assassination mod, they could implement ninjas, possibly implementing a way for you to become a ninja yourself (Being a ninja and a samurai would not be exclusive, as famous ninjas such as Hattori Hanzo, were simultaneously also samurai). With naval warfare seemingly being a thing in the mod too, I wonder if we'll then also get some way to board and capture ships, which we then get to keep to expand our navy. It would be really cool to be able to... Wave a black flag to capture the ships of western forces, which you can then board with your own men and claim them as your clan's belonging.
I realy am questioning Taleworlds strategy with their content now that I see that there is a mod that is on the level of a DLC of Taleworlds (like the Vking Conquest DLC)

I just wish the people making bannerlord would see how much the game needs like i play on ps5 and theres just no quality of life options no troop customization no setting to make the battles bigger or lords stronger i just wish there was more added but hey a man can only dream
i wonder when this type of mods will come out of course this needs lots of works but since the game got released we didnt even get an aprox date for a beta for any big mods
2:06 Regarding the troop icon with the denar above its head, I imagine that is the cost of the ship’s maintenance. I doubt your average soldier is going to be able to keep a ship in proper health, so you must by paying for sailors, which will add to your party wages.

The troop icon with the coin above its head is likely the wage of the ships, the icon is like the wage one on banner lord vanilla.
What i think about Shokuho? To mutch time to wait for release.....

I'm guessing the symbol with the soldier and a coin is the upkeep of the ship itself?
I think that the troop icon with a coin on top is something like upkeep/wage/rent for the boat and maybe sailors or something.
The map being that huge is amazing !

Those aren't "swords" and spears will be the primary weapons

Fire arrows were only used for signalling, the way they are portrayed so inaccurately in the mod puts me off, but everything else looks amazing.

Taleworlds shoul make naval warfare/travel a feature of Bannerlord, they could expand their map and include some new islands and maybe a faction
