Is this policy even eligible for those who have already got a nomination from their province and yet have to apply for an extension?
People who legally entered Canada, either as an international student, work permit, and so on, maintained their status during their TRV period regardless of which country they came, what program they took, wherever they are working and have no criminal background, each and every one should be given PR without any doubt. People or students who came between 2020-2023 they had absolutely no idea about these policies or which demanding program they should take. So, if we treat them based on current policies just because immigration is high now, it will be totally unfair to them. We should put a strong cap or limitations for future purposes. But those who are already in Canada legally maintain their status and have no criminal background, Everyone deserves a permanent status.
International students in Canada spent CAN$37.3 billion in 2022, according to new analysis released by the government, and made a CAN$30.9 billion contribution to GDP. So, it's not a joke how students are contributing to Canada's economy. Of course, it has to be in limit. But like I said, those who are already here, none of the restrictions shouldn't apply to them.

Its not for who submitted PNP its for who already yot EOI from PNP then u can get extension if u just submited PNP it would be have that benifit but yes if your PNP in process then yes.,

My PGWP expired in January my lmia was approved in april20, now lmia and ircc doesn’t contact each other so my work permit extension got rejected before my company got lmia approved, now i am waiting for 5 months sitting home because i can’t work, is there any way??

I have received ITA under BC PNP tech program on last Tuesday which is 27th Aug and submitted the application with all employer supporting docs on 28th Aug which is Thursday.
My PGWP is expiring on 28th September which affects my wife and kid visas as well
