Obviously much less sound stage and spatial effects vs my Edition XS open backs but man ... I find myself enjoying music instantly with these. You feel the music. $50 vs $500 and I have to say bass impact is SIGNIFICANTLY more and punchier. These are great for rap and EDM. Very detailed in FPS gaming as well. The downside is nozzle size and I can only wear a couple hours at a time. Still trying to find that uber comfortable daily driver. Probably going to get IE 200's.
Picked up a set of these as my first ChiFi IEM. Really happy with them; great value and performance and imo, perfect "entry" IEMs. One thing that I dislike is the y-splitter is a bit heavy and I find the cables gently pulling my ears forward after wearing the IEMs for a while - especially while reading/looking down slightly. Maybe it's a combination with the cable? Otherwise, love them. Might have to try the Moondrop Spring tips.
I got this 2 days also. Initially I was not impressed and thought it was overhype on the bass part. I tried all the ear tips provided. Bass was ok but not what I expected. Then I swopped the tips to one of my other IEM which was much thinner and softer compared to the original tips provided. Wow! What a huge difference it made to the bass! The softer tips that I use provide a better seal and more comfort too. So try all the tips u can get your hands on and find the best ear tips.

I don't think that dude who doesn't know what crossover is should make a reviews to an audio items
You think other audio reviewers are electrical engineers or something?
calling me "the average person" feels weirdly offensive.. similar with the "scientifically perfect" idea... i mean technically it might fit my sound but i don't wanna feel like everything is dependent on fitting a standard curve... i bought a zero though if JUST because i wanted to know what i want when i bump up to the 200-300 dollar range and i know what kind of IEM i'd want
What's your take on it?
@@SuperReview its still coming to my house.. i have tried to mele but wished it was a little brighter.. and i liked the moondrop chu but wished it had more of the big bass punch (the bass is good on a chu just not... impactful).. my library is mostly rock, rap, and electronic, so most of my drums are synthetic and a major focus is guitars and synths.. hopefully i find what I'm looking for with the zero and see if i want another harman like iem or something else (like the FHE as a sidegrade from my old FH3 or a kato or a S12)
@@duke86fan If you want brighter, the Olina might be more your cup of tea. It is also a better option to try before jumping to an iem in the 200-300 range as can actually compete with them in many aspects.
@@arthurhaywood2184 loved it after the double filter mod. Really good for vocals, with solid bass 👍🏽
At that range I feel like you just can't go wrong with the Raptgo Hook X. It does too many things right and very little wrong. Bass, tonality, sound stage (it's open back IEMs), treble, just...everything.
These are not as good as the $20 7Hz Salnotes Zero. please review this set.
Debatable.
Variations is better
Variations is literally 10x the cost, but yes.
@@SuperReview the variations are way more accurate on how studio monitors sound in a treated room. The zeros are terrible in high frequency extension, sub bass is lacking, and upper bass is muddy a bit. mids are ok.
Harman target is supposed to be neutral, not the "average Human's preference".
This matches my understanding: dekoniaudio.com/articles/what-is-the-harman-curve/
Came late, just watching the review. Good move blocking the creepy anime wrapper. I’ll give you 5 stars just for that. 👍🏼
Jesus Christ is Lord, King and Our Savior!
Wut
Are these better than the Shure Aonic 215?
Never heard the Shures.
@@SuperReview you don’t know the brand Shure? Are you taking the piss?
Very familiar with Shure, have never heard that model.
Does it have ear pressure relief venting, does it have any suction effect?
No suction effect I recall.
