Hey y’all! Firstly, I’d like to say thanks for this wonderful video. I wanted to offer a bit of advice to anyone watching this from personal experience. I leveled up as a player because of this video simply by learning a chord shape, and working it for a day. Moving it around by half steps up and down slowly, then to a beat. Playing left hand patterns with the bottom notes, and noodling the right hand shape. Moving on to the next chord when that first shape was comfy. Next day I did the same thing with the second chord. Up and down half step motions. Slow for a bit and to a beat for a bit. Started vamping the two chords together to my own groove. I’m almost through all of the chord shapes and it’s felt like a boot camp on this lush, dark modern jazz Alfa style! Good luck
