- Solo living has been hitting really hard recently... I sometimes wish that I had another person around (especially when it comes to heavy furniture and apartment maintenance) -- yet at the end of the day I wouldn't change a thing. Some call it personal growth, some call it needing to go to the gym to lift weights every now and again. In other news, I think it's time a purchase a mic to fix my wonky sound 🫠

Girl, that credenza was meant to be on that wall. It looks so good!! The light over the table turned out perfect!! Feeling lonely, stinks!! I am such an introvert and the loneliness is overwhelming at times. I feel your pain. I moved back in with my mom, I am 52, because I was so tired of feeling lonely. I do not think we were put in this life to feel alone. ❤❤❤❤ NYC is a dream enjoy the night life.
The rug gets better and better each time I see it. It was such a great choice.
Gale, you're simply delightful. I share a similar experience, being originally from NYC myself. Growing up in Riverdale was a cherished part of my life, especially the sense of community at our co-op. It's heartening to see your accomplishments, and I'm genuinely proud of you. As someone who is now 62 years old, I can honestly say I still maintain friendships with childhood companions. It's a testament to the enduring bonds we form in our youth. Keep thriving, Gale.
As an interior decorator I love what you have done. If you push the beautiful chairs back by the fireplace with that small table in the middle you will have more room for the summer months

Love where you placed the credenza!. For late spring/summer, I actually kind of like where you had the living room chairs placed, flanking each side of the fireplace opening with the little book/cocktail table in the center (because you don't use the fireplace in the spring/summer months). It opened up your space (visually) providing what appeared to be considerably more walking space, in my opinion. Don't take my word for it. If you are curious, go back and look at the video @

You are making so much progress! So happy for you that you found a place for your credenza. It has tons of storage, too, yay! Step ladders are literally the best thing ever. I hope you find one for future projects. I was worried about you up on the table but you made it work. Way to go being a kickass woman and the lamp looks great, too!
The credenza looks so good there!! Also love the new light. I think the desk next to your doorway is better feng shui because your back won’t be to the door while sitting at your desk if you care about that 😂 also then you can watch movies in bed with the monitor
