If its like the Apollo line, if you use the regen brake on a full charger, it willl overpower the battery therefore causing a shut down. Use the physical brakes till you get the battery to 90%
Hey man I was refunded yesterday for my Punk Rider PRO. They are addressing the STEM wire stuffing issue. This is why your Scooter keeps turning off it's been confirmed by many others so they are currently working on a redesign and they said if I come back they will give me a discount however, I am very happy with Kurikin G2 Master. Less settings to play with an No app wiring is near perfect you can tailor to your needs via the P custom menu from Regen braking to wheel force to speed sleep mode etc.. it's well worth the money 💰 I would check it out if I were you. But yes in a nutshell I was refunded and Punks customer service is very good 👍 so I appreciate that to say the least.
I will make a video about the process. Support responded to me today so I have to send my unit back but here is what they said the refund process: We will not proceed for refund unless it is damage unit right out of the box and after an exchange. We always go for parts replacement first unless we find that there is a need for a new unit exchange. In your case, we like to retrieve the unit back for investigation based on the auto shutdown. In the case of any refund, we will charge processing and restocking fee based on condition of the scooter.
No worries they will respond to you. Keep in mind it may take them a few days to do so. I did not hear from them, so i made a video and they responded quickly.
Yes, it happened on my first shipped machine. They sent me a second machine, and the issue doesn’t occur anymore. It seems to have been an issue with the first machines they shipped.
@@MrMotoMotivateI’m glad you had this matter rectified by them. When did u initially purchase your scooter? If I do buy this scooter I plan to purchase it from a site like fluid free ride or something so I hope I have no issues. Again only if I buy it from them. Otherwise I’ll just get the updated leopard or gallop pro. Heavier but more power and better suspension and zoom Brakes
@@hhova29 I bought it on March 23, 2024. Fluid wasn’t carrying the scooter then, but now that they partnered with them, quality control issues should be less frequent. If you have any problems, Fluid techs can help. If weight is a concern, stick with the Punk Rider Pro.
@@MrMotoMotivateTyvm. I do hope you’re right. Funny I heard of the quality control issues more broadly from Apollo scooters and many who claim they don’t support. Hope you’re right. An employee at my job purchased a mantis and I see them zooming by on occasion. Have to ask them about it that scooter. lol
Wanted to ask you also I’ve trade a lot about the suspension being very stiff. If I may ask a dumb question would you think one can upgrade the suspension over time or try to retro fit something to the punk pro?
I have not noticed that issue yet, but I’ll be on the lookout. I will say it felt like out of the box, it was really punchy. But ever since the first charge the power delivery hasn’t quite felt the same
If you just received your vehicle just keep an eye out for the first random turn off. The first time it happened to me I was doing the distance rice and it turned off 3 times. I am glad the brakes still work when the power turns off.

Thank you for the heads up. They have not responded to me, so I will have to call the support team to find out what my options are. I appreciate you.
So how did the refund work? I’m assuming you had to ship the scooter back. Did they pay for it?

So this is a current issue for many owners I see. I was strongly considering this scooter. Now I’m nervous to buy.
