2024 NETRA Hootowl Turkey Run in Putnam CT. Here are some highlights of our ride. This will give you an idea of the terrain you will face if you do it. It was fun, we did the 80 mile loop. Felt like a race at times, but all good. Enjoy!

Great stuff! I did the 40 mile un plated route. I thought it was fun but brutal. Guess I better do some push-ups or run or something haha. Working up to that 80 mile one. Missed the big river sign up, hoping to make the Arcadia one. And hey what’s that computer unit you’re running? I’m looking for something better than a watch.

Fun run, seemed more like a race with some riders. That's a gps speedo, and more. About $40 on Amazon, search for Meilan mini gps

Can't figure out why they would put " expert level" terrain in a turkey run. I have to believe that most of the riders are not experts. Thought turkey runs were put on as a fun, non competitive event. I haven't attended a turkey run since 2016 and even then they were tough, seems like they are getting even more challenging.

Challenging in some spots, unless you're a new rider, most would be able to handle it. Did feel like a race in some situations
