Hello and welcome to our hike from Gjendebu to Gjendesheim through Svartdalen and Leirungsdalen! Surrounded by majestic 2000-meter peaks, but also with gentle and open terrain for a large part of the journey, this is an amazing hike that offers both heart-pounding steep climbs and landscapes that soothe the soul. The trip covers 29 km, so you'll enjoy many hours of fresh mountain air. Be prepared for some wet crossings of occasionally substantial streams, so it's a good idea to pack an extra pair of socks in your backpack. And bring plenty of food. Enjoy your hike :)
