Ruthschebanen, which means Roller Coaster in Danish, celebrates its 110th anniversary in 2024 and is the third oldest coaster in the world after Leap The Dips at Lakemont Park in Pennsylvania (opened 1902) and Scenic Railway at Luna Park in Melbourne, Australia (1912). This L.A. Thompson Scenic Railway Company side friction scenic railway is one of only seven coasters currently operating that feature trains with on-board brakemen who really let this baby roll!
