The end of the episode made me think the creators were basically telling the fans "we do listen to you, but our main goal is teaching the kids"
Finally someone says it!!
At the end of the day, My Little Pony is a show with priority for it's child audiences. It's not the show writers and producers jobs to suck up to us just because we're unhappy about character flaws or traits.
The show is meant to teach young people and that's that.
kinda off topic but i feel like yakity sax was just an episode to bring pinkamena back like for the last time ever
there was almost no lesson or moral,, just pinkamena diane pie
@@alyssabullock6421and also Brighten someone's day with a funny cartoonist experience, right? That's like half of the show, while the first half is teaching morals.
18:55 Fourth time I've watched the episode, and only now do I realise that Twilight just used the Royal Canterlot Voice
Starlight: "I'm gonna have a chat with them."
Blank: "And they were never heard of ever again."
It gets scary as it is true.
"When I learn something, I learn it hard."- Rainbow Dash 2017
"Do I Need To Prepare myself?" - Fluttershy 2017
"And I can be too eager to please." - Applejack 2017
"When I swallow something, I swallow it hard."
"Creamy, creamy frosting..." - Pinkie Pie, 2013
iwtcird
Those two ponies Starlight Glimmer "talked to" after they made Rarity cry? They lived the rest of their lives without their Cutie-Marks.
I hear that she was seen buying a gallon of bleach. But that's just a rumor.
"twilight was better before she got wings" 1 of my fav quotes from the show ever
Book Lover that was a favorite of mine as well
Book Lover yeah that one was good too lol
"Are Applejack and Pinkie Pie related or what?!"
Dude probably just wants to know whether it's safe to ship them. :)
Trenton Bigsby mainly like profile picture because I love *blushes* rainbow dash
Miller Pieper cute rd is best :D
Alternate title: "The main six meet the Brony Fandom"
4:16 that laugh was way too adorable.
I think the moral of the episode is that My Little Pony isn't perfect but the message it tries to give is real.
And that fame is crazy and exhausting but it's all worth it because of the people you can help through it (who are mostly little girls in this case)
People who think this episode is attacking the fandom, they're missing the point, wich is a funny irony.
C'mon guys, let's not be like the town ponies in the episode. Don't take this cute show too seriously and don't expect it to be perfect, it's not, but the intention to give a valuable message is what really matters.
Quite an endearing message sir or ma'am. While not a fan of the show since I don't really watch it, I do believe that this message should be realized for everyone who watches the show. Afterall, almost every cartoon for children is created for the purpose of delivering a message to learn and take to heart, not for perfection and criticizing. Nice message.
This is just-so amazing. Becuase this show is perfect.😊
2:55 Starlight: "I'llll judge a book by its cover just this once."
Blank: "Have we learned nothing from Zecora?"
We've learned that giving Fluttershy a deep voice is a brilliant idea.
Flawless is definitely top five favourite songs but Pinkie pie's part with the therapist really hits hard there such deep meaning behind it
This episode taught me that even though my little pony has a bunch of adult males criticizing the show on the internet, it's still teaching little girls lessons about friendship.
Johnny Blood [SUPLEX OF FRIENDSHIP!]
*explodes
Toola Roola and Coconut Cream are G3 ponies! It's why they're so colourful haha.
I just realized the song fixing nothing represents how the fandom can stay pissed about things even after being shown how stupid they are. (or something like that)
Right on the pin miss or sir
The meta ness of this episode was off of the charts and it was absolutely amazing! From Applejack being popular, to Rarity being disliked to the meta ness of Fluttershy learning a similar lesson over and over. He was really pushing it with the fandom, and it was just pure awesomeness. I loved it so much, and really this episode really does show how much they've all changed, while not a lot they've still changed, and it's great to see in this episode being let out and explored. Loved it so much, great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.
ARE PINKIE PIE AND APPLEJACK RELATED OR WHAT!!!
You got to say something in the show again.
Caramel - it's a layered question.
Sex
`No really, are we
if not I need to tell AJ to stop breaking peoples houses (Pun)
Jake Berango I did I did
The ending of this episode still gives me chills.
A big smack at the fandom who think these characters aren't perfect enough or who are so picky and bitter about them not being the way they want them to be.
I love episodes for shows that call out the negative sides of it's fans
M.A. Larson actually despises this episode. He didn't want to write it, and he had an entirely different idea in mind for the entire thing, but the higher-ups tossed it out. He basically wrote this under protest, with them telling him exactly how he had to write the plot. Larson said later he thinks it is unnecessarily vitriolic, it's his most hated episode
Time to play post-Bronycon catchup~
Episode 15 won't be next. Got a couple other things in mind before that.
HEY GUYS DID YOU KNOW TOOLA-ROOLA AND COCONUT CREAM WERE G3 PONIES
I've been corrected enough times to now call Toola-Roola an OC at every opportunity.
Blank Slate can you react to friendship is witchcraft part 1 to 9
Blank Slate may you please react to Epic Spike by Tronoid, and Tridashies can can??
Im betting my left kidney on Anthology 6
I think Blank said he has already seen the FIW? If I recall from a much earlier episode
Blank Slate run lil miss rarity is cannon.
“ Friendship isn’t always easy but there’s no doubt it’s worth fighting for” I think we all remember when she said it in season 2 episode return of harmony when they use the elements of harmony and turn Discord back to stone
"Well Starlight does like camps.".... That..... Wow
Udumfucc That took me too long to understand. 😂
Wasn't that village?
G U L A G
A certain manifesto.... What could that be. *Looks at a big red book*
I see you're not one for *stalin* around.
6:10 "They'll make a TV series about us"
I had to pause because I was laughing so hard, knowing what this episode entails and wanting to see the upcoming reactions.
Surprised people keep referring to this episode as "very Larson like". Larson only had a tiny bit to do with the concept quite a long time ago. The episode is not exactly about being meta, or making silly fun of some of the fandom's complaints on the side. It's not really supposed to make you laugh, but think. It's an episode by the writers, for the writers. The whole concept is to give a giant middle finger to the rude, nitpicky fans who take the show too seriously, and hassle and insult the writers and other fans because of it. About people watching this show about friendship, but clearly not taking the lessons to heart. That's why they didn't solve the problem in the end, and why Twilight says "They can wait a little longer". It's basically the writers saying at the end of the day, the fandom doesn't matter to them. They're saying: "We give this show our best effort, but we do it for little girls and people who appreciate its heart. It's cool to have fans outside our target demographic, but we don't and can't give a crap about the grownup crybabies nitpicking about every little thing they don't like. So stop acting the way you do".
Really, if you read some of Jim Miller's tweets from around last season, they're basically this episode summed up in a few tweets.
23:09 "Wow. They didn't... fix it."
Because this fandom can't be fixed. We're beyond hope, and they know it. :D
20:50 "Ooh, bedroom eyes from Rarity."
She just can't help it. Rarity is like Jessica from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. She's not a bad girl, she's just drawn that way. ;)
I absolutely love the song in this episode, it's so good.
This is still my favorite episode to date. It just- everything about it makes me happy. And the song!!!! Wow!!
Nice commentary as always mate.
Your favourite song of the season? You liked it better than "You're in my head like a catchy song"?
2:00 Toola Roola and Coconut Cream were G3 ponies. That's where their gaudy colors stem from.
2:53 Either that or Twilight's a cheap-skate who bought some really low quality paper.
5:25 There actually were 'photocopied' books in the re-education room in "The Cutie Map"
9:26 They got re-educated...
10:37 Yea, the very same ponies who sang along in the Smile Song act like they don't know her
11:24 The Mane 6 will get sued by various parties soon for spilling personal information
14:05 Sticky note cutie marks, who would do that? 14:40 Oh, right.
16:30 Rarity started playing TF2 it seems.
17:03 They probably did that on purpose.
18:12 Reporter dude wants two Moondancers.
23:20 Song not fixing everything? Unrealistic!
Stratagem And I thought I was the only one!(It never really stuck to me as a good song and so did this one but after a cover I liked it much better, though I can't say the same for "You're in my head like a catchy song")
Stratagem a
Way to go starlight erase those couples from existence 👏😈
Wait... what if Rainbow's lesson about Daring Do was the whole reason everyone was treating the journal like a work of fiction? If you read about someone meeting a character who you assume doesn't exist, you wouldn't really believe it, right? Unless it's actually common knowledge that Daring Do is a real pony, and it's just that nobody knows who she is, but it was heavily implied that this isn't the case... Ooh, or what if- _* gets slapped by M.A. Larson for taking things too seriously *_
Oh my god, I didn't catch that this was released during BronyCon. That's great.
Something I just noticed, the newspaper Rarity was reading in the Cafe has what looks like a review for the book. It got 1.5 stars.
I find it hilarious that you used to record in a lab. I can't imagine what it would be like to walk in on someone recording an MLP reaction in a lab.
This has to be my favorite episode EVER. It slaps the fandom in the face to be happy and remember that it IS still a show for young children.
"When I needed to make copies of a certain... manifesto..." Starlight confirmed best communist.
The person who complains about fluttershy learning the same thing over and over’s cutie mark is a glass of water... i wonder who they could possibly be referring to
Oh.......I get it.
who
I feel like this is alittle how it was for the animators writers and even the voice actor's when you create something that be a character art or even a story you get good feedback that makes you happy you also get mean feedback that makes you sad but you can also get criticism that makes you feel conflicted with your creation and at the end of the day you and them are humans and it easy to get people to hate on eachother and that is the scariest thing about us humans.
"Just a rousing Fong of yee-haw!"
I wanna smack you now. XD
Bronies react has corrupted him. XD.
Glad you enjoyed this episode. I agree that it may be my favorite of the season so far, but we'll see how it holds up over time. The song is stellar, and the writing is Larson through and through (though not his best - Amending Fences still holds that spot).
"We're Not Flawless" is by far my number one favorite mlp song now!!!
Me: *1am* agh, I need sleep.
*gets notification*
THAT CAN WAIT
Oh heck I got likes
Oh heck I got more likes
OH HECK ALMOST 90 LIKES
portal core SAME TOTALLY SAME

8:41 If this had come out pre-season four, unfortunately I would've agreed with them about Rarity. But after watching Rarity Takes Manehatten when it aired, I actually started liking her more. Twilight will always be my favorite Pony though.
It actually turns out that Tula Rula and Coconut Cream are G3 ponies just like Rainbowdash, Scootaloo, Pinky Pie, Sweety Bell, and Cheryl, I just found out!
Mr. Stickmen *Toola Roola
dammit ruth
Er, right
MidnightMuffin
I know, I'm not the best speller, and I hate getting their names wrong!! 😖
It's okay. And I'm not the only one who noticed that!
WHEN I FIRST HEARD TOOLA ROOLA'S NAME IN THE EPISODE, MY EARS FLARED WITH HYPE CUZ I GREW UP WATCHING GEN 3!
Okay, in the past few weeks I've read and thought a lot about this episode, about the important points it makes about the fandom and about the often times harsh criticism. But in my opinion there's one thing that way too many people seem to miss and it bothers me so much that I just had to talk about it even though this video is a month old already.
People say it criticizes the fandom. Sure. But not all of it. I think the ending doesn't get enough attention. Not the fact that they didn't actually resolve the issue, but how they manage to deal with all the misconceptions and misunderstandings. I'm of course talking about the only two who actually seem to get something out of the book. To me, and again I might be wrong here, it's a nod towards the silent fans. Those who silently appreciate their work, or the work of the fandom. Notice how they didn't come out themselves to say how much they liked the journal? Starlight had to get them. She had to actually seek them out because they didn't choose to communicate their appreciation. We only see the loud mass of bickering and unbearable fighting. Who knows how many ponies in this episode, and how many people in real life enjoy the show and it's fandom without participating in it, without being part of any overly aggressive discussions. I think the creators wanted to acknowledge those people. Tell them that it's worth doing what they do as long as there are people out there who get something out of it. And I think that's an important lesson that way too many seem to overlook. Doing something that inspires others is a beautiful thing. Because apart from all the people who have their voices heard we should never forget the ones who don't. Because to them it might mean the most.
So in short, this episode criticized a part of the fandom that we probably all know, but it also supported another part that we might not be too aware off most of the time.
Thank you for your time.
Nice delivery on your comment. I definetly think this hits the mark. Shows, actors, UA-cam channels, whatever it may be will always have a sincere and toxic side of the fandom, no matter if the creation is meant to be positive or negative. And even if you try to resolve the issue, there will sadly always be those "fans" that will find a reason to continue the conflict. But what's important is to focus on the accomplishments and not the failures, just as the ending shows. Once again, nice delivery.
2:52 This is a reference to the 1960 movie The Time Machine. The book is so old, that the pages are dissolving, just by touching them.
13:01 The scary part about this scene(pause video at 13:01)........ That's actually what I imagined the Creepypasta Rarity(Dresses/Rarity's New Dress) would look like. Without the ruined makeup of course.
I love how Meta this was...
there was a minute I was watching this and forgot it wasn't an in joke fan animation.
Fun fact: apparently MA Larson hated working on this episode. He was handed the premise as an executive mandate from higher ups, and his original pitch was much less mean-spirited, but the higher ups pushed the premise on him, which he felt came across as a giant fuck-you to the fandom.
20:55 I'm convinced that shot took so long, they had to render it at a lower frame-rate just to make it possible. Still impressive, but kinda jittery.
Sounds probably, they couldn't get every frame for the characters in there with the time they had.
I noticed the Fluttershy fan moving away when the hater said she was difficult to relate to. Some depth to that. Not just the fact that the presence of the fan shows that some do indeed relate to her, but that this fan wanted to avoid conflict just like Fluttershy. I've heard it said by some fans that they see a lot of themselves in her. Honestly, the hater is speaking from her own perspective and isn't considering other points of view.
4:43 Rainbow: "When I learn something, I learn it hard!"
Sex Ed must have been quite the experience for RD.
12:15 "Rip him in half, Starlight."
Halves are too good for him. Make him a true quarterhorse, Glimmy.
1:47 woah I remember that guy when Tirek sucked up his magic
11:37 "All of Rainbow Dash's fans are children" IKR? It's probably my favorite subtle thing this episode did (as opposed to completely on the nose stuff like Fluttershy and Wings and Relatedness).
2:58 yep. It was also in the castle when Starlight's screw up flooded the castle, library included
I don't know about anyone else, but when I heard that song, "We're Not Flawless," I kept on hearing something that Moroni wrote as he was concluding his father's record. In Mormon 9:31, the gist of his message is "Don't condemn us because of our weaknesses, but be grateful that you have our record so you can learn from it, and be wiser than we were."
Maybe the next big fandom episode could star Discord, and parallel John Delance's entry into the fandom. Imagine Discord being a part of the fandom. I already couldn't help but imagine a scene with him and the Fluttershy fans. After discomfort on her part, he'd clarify that she's an introvert, then there'd be a heartfelt moment where the fans explain that they see so much of themselves in her, and then having the enthusiasm sapped away Discord decides to fly off with Team Dash. :) I honestly think such an episode could demonstrate all the good things about the fandom, and how there is a balance to be struck in encouraging them.
12:51 and (at this point in time) they're also missing the JOURNAL part of the Friendship Journal due to Dash mentioning meeting Daring Do
This episode = every fandom in a nutshell
Fluttershy: *Lying down in Fear*
Me: *Shows Up Out of Nowhere* YOU DARE HURT THE PRECIOUS LITTLE BEAN???!!!
*"Is this someone's OC?"*
As a fan since G3 after hearing that I died a little inside. :')
Yeah..
I didn't notice the M.A. Larson until now so this next part is Waaaay over due...
LARSON!!!! (I say this with fist raised)
Halo Maxus
[text appears on screen]
Halo!
Vs!
M. A. Larson
actually larson did not write this, they edited his original draft, he commented on how this was not his idea and they changed everything he had written for the episode.
whoever did write it has been tying to scapegoat Larson for it while distancing themselves.
The Manifesto, the meta brony jokes from Larson, the song. I totally agree, if not for The Perfect Pear's emotional rollercoaster , this would be my favorite episode of the season. Its a close second so far though.
Also, SO META. I CAN BARELY TAKE IT.
DAMN YOU LARSOOOOOON!!!
Loved your reaction like always, man
9:26 Yep, I agree with that mess with the single most powerful unicorn in the history of Equestria excluding Sombra but she did it without dark magic.
18:57 about frikin time Twilight used the Royal Canterlot Voice. She's been an Alicorn for 4 bloody seasons already and it's only NOW we see that being an Alicorn she does have the RCV
Fun fact the pink filly with multi colored hair is not an oc but is based off of a G3 mlp if you look up the old theme song she's in there
I feel like it shows a lot about the things content creators go through, because well, this is their lives. I keep hearing stories about fans having massive expectations for youtubers and movie stars, and them feeling way too entitled to whatever they want, and just forgetting that they are people too with lives and flaws.
19:29 Hrggggggh *tries not to die of cuteness* (I ship flutterdash)
😲
Same
I can’t decide which ponies to ship so I just ship everyone with each other. One big world of pony lesbians (and also not lesbians, but pony lesbians sounds more fun.)
SuperRavensfan101 I ship FlutterCord (Fluttershy and Discord)
GG GOOD BYE WORLD *DIES*
Writer: it doesn't matter if the fandom is crazy what matters is we save suicide and friendship.
18:54 Woah there i think twilight just used the royal canterlot voice
I'm not sure if i want to know how much money Rarity lost because of the "Friendship Journal".
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who noticed that "We're Not Flawless" sounds a little bit like "Welcome to the Show."
11:10 yes, little filly. Insult the PRINCESS when she's RIGHT BEHIND YOU.
11:14 great job Dash. Way to make Daring Do's SECRET life not so secret and now that much freaking harder to do. Great job
I honestly relate so much with Amethyst Star and White Lightning, the two Fluttershy supporters seen in the final scene. Fluttershy is my favourite, I relate to her a whole lot, and it's hard whenver I come across other fans that harshly cricticize her character arc.
Amethyst Star, who was already a favourite background Pony came out really well in this episode where I'm concerned. Not only is she an outspoken Fluttershy fan/supporter, but she doesn't really engage in the mob arguing, and several times she is shown smiling during the song, in contrast to many other ponies having really sour expressions all the way through.
The two fillies: the little girls that watch the show, everypony else: the brony fandom
Pretty much. Then again, the way the other ponies acted is a lot like MANY fandoms act. Which just goes to show, you can't please everyone.
Just a random throw out blank slate the filly at 1:57 is from generation 3, and her name is toola roola, 😄
Just thought I'd throw it out there
Did anyone else notice during the song that when it cuts to the duos its in their races? With Pinkie and Applejack as the earth ponies, Fluttershy and Rainbowdash as the pegasus, and Rarity and Twilight as the unicorns. I just found it a nice touch
The taped butt-notes...oooh I was sooo wanting to know what you were going to say when you saw them! "who would do such a silly thing" THAT'S right, YESS
Toola Roola is a pony from an earlier generation.
I think this episode won the award for "Least Effective Song Ever" considering everyone was still yelling after it.
One of the top 10 episodes of the series
This episode was so deliciously meta
And now I'm finally home to watch some video with Blank's beautiful voice
The two "oc" fillies were remakes from gen 3 (maybe 2 IDK) not oc's xD
So that song was great and everything, but I was distracted the whole episode by Toola Roola finally getting an appearance in G4.
Toola Roola was one of the old generation ponies. My favorite when I was younger. That's the pink filly with the paintbrush-swirl cutie mark.
i see it as a friendly jab at the fandom too ... fans in every fandom can get carry away by their favourite thing, its to every fan not to do obssess about it to much ^^ (i think most people manage that very well)
i would have liked a few of the Background-Ponies to be on board at the end for the `friendship-moment, but thats a very minor thing in very great episode
And this is one of, if not the, most awesome song in MLP-FiM
This episdoe and slice of life are truly my favorites for .... to many reasons to list :3
13:00 For everyone who wondered what Rarity's Lesson Zero would be like
Oh god its been forever since I watched mlp THE NOSTALGIA
*awww Fluttershy break all the spines* Your reaction had me in stitches but that was my fave.
Oh, my gosh! It's been so long since this show's had a good song!
[Part 1] Alright, after a good night's sleep, I can finally make my long comment. | Alright, it's finally time to watch you react to season 7 episode 14 "Fame and Misfortune". This episode was very good... and very meta. It's about the fandom again, and it just so happened to air while BronyCon was going on. Coincidence? I think not! Anyways, let's get into this. _And..._ play. 0:17 Congratulations on the move, Blank! Hope you settle in well. 0:21 A "friend", huh? ;) 0:27 That means you can reduce your likelihood of having another bike accident. 0:54 Sadly, this doesn't mean Larson came back to write an episode. This was written a long time ago, long before he left the show. Still wish he was here. 0:56 You only wouldn't know who he is if you started watching the show during season 6. 1:08 "Slice of Life" is kinda a big one for him to write. I don't know how you wouldn't know him for that. 1:10 Yes, Larson is the reason Twilight has wings. 1:13 His last episode before he left the show was "Rarity Investigates!". 1:20 If only he did. 1:34 **Stock children laughter noises** 1:37 Ha! Twilight got creamed ;) 1:47 I'd take that banana boat sundae any day. 1:49 Nope. Toola Roola is from G3, like Pinkie, Rainbow, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Cherilee. 1:57 Like there's a difference. 2:03 Ha! Twilight's getting creamed multiple times ;) 2:09 She didn't want her faced to be creamed on ;) 2:18 That's because it is! 2:35 You obviously haven't been taking care of that journal very well, Twilight. 2:52 It's even falling apart! 2:53 That would make sense. 2:59 Love that mad Twilight face. 3:19 For the first time in forever! 3:25 I just realized that Spike has not let go of the journal in the intro, even though it hasn't been used in so long. Why does he still hold the journal? 3:27 It's basically an answer book on how to become the next Princess of Friendship. 3:46 Oddly sexual. 3:56 Ooh, burn! 4:08 That would explain the smell. There might be mould in that book because of that apple. I would not breathe it in if I were them. 4:11 I get it, because she put a sandwich in her scrapbook. 4:18 At least she's considerate. 4:30 Because there's a difference between cursive and calligraphy, apparently. 4:37 There's only one reason I can think of for a page to be unfolded and looked at sideways ;) 4:44 That's what she said ;) 5:04 That would be a great spell to use to make more copies of a book signed by a famous author. 5:23 Saying the word "manifesto" in a kid's show. Also, the manifesto she's referring to is the book with only equal signs in them that Pinkie was reading in the season 5 premiere. 5:41 More like "Mein Marx" ;) If someone in the fandom doesn't make Starlight's manifesto, I'd be very disappointed. 5:55 Twilight: "It's _my_ idea because _I'm_ a genius." 6:04 Twilight: "A.k.a., we're gonna make the public buy our merchandise." Speaking through Twilight like a puppet, right Hasbro? 6:09 Maybe even a spin-off series and a movie! 6:20 That would've been great. 6:47 Because their journal is apparently the only thing worth advertising. 6:58 Did they draw the hopscotch lines in the grass? How? 7:11 We don't speak of "Rainbow Falls". 7:18 The CMCs are becoming the next Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. 7:23 Totally not foreshadowing to a future episode or anything. 7:33 If Starlight agrees to a cutie mark summer camp, it's probably not a good idea. 7:37 Then what was the point of advertising the book all over Equestria, then? 7:55 It would've been great if they were from Baltimare instead. 8:13 And the meta-ness has begun. 8:22 I *_*love*_* where this episode went! 8:41 Rarity is apparently Worst Pony. 8:57 Bart: "You can actually pinpoint the second when his heart rips in half. _And..._ now." 9:21 Starlight: "A.k.a., I'm gonna murder them." R.I.P. Daisy and other pony. The flower ponies were one mare short from that day on. 9:29 Didn't this already happen in "Pinkie Apple Pie"? 9:40 You don't sign the cover of a hardcover book, especially if it's in pencil. 9:52 How beginner Bronies remember the characters. 10:17 It's one of those bad 80's sitcoms where they laugh at everything a character says! 10:22 **cough** 10:35 Pony: " 'You've known me for years'? Good one, Pinkie!" 10:47 That child's voice. 10:57 Who would want to watch episodes about _him?_ 11:11 Great job, Rainbow. You just revealed to the whole world that Daring Do is real. Applause to you **sarcastic claps** This totally won't be talked about in a future episode, either... 11:24 I don't think so. I think it was only revealed that Daring Do is real. But we'll have to find out, won't we? ;) 11:36 Too bad Scootaloo can't join them. Get it, because she _can't fly?_ 11:37 I feel Rainbow is the pony most associated with the show, besides Twilight. 11:51 This isn't a good sight. No one wants to see Fluttershy get mobbed. 12:01 I mean, we never got an official answer to that question. 12:04 Yeah. We're getting _that_ meta in this episode. 12:14 Starlight's gonna kill him, too! 12:19 Fluttershy: **"I GOT THIS!"** 12:32 Fluttershy is a thug! 12:39 This guy is like one of those fans who says they want something to change, but when that change happens, they want it to go back to how it used to be. 12:45 Hey, don't bring Canada into this. 12:53 It's very meta, and I love it! 13:01 The new "But I didn't listen/QUIET" face. 13:19 Rarity: "Because I am Worst Pony, Starlight. **I. AM. WORST. PONY!"** End of part 1.
[Part 2] 13:29 See? They're protesting that Rarity is Worst Pony. They have her face crossed out on signs. They want her outta the show. 13:40 Great face. Twilight is not amused. 13:51 Applejack: "I don't like being up front. I wanna stay as a background pony!" 14:05 I guess I don't really know Ashleigh Ball, then. 14:30 You know the Sweet Apple Admirers are going to be a thing in the fandom now, right? 14:37 Wouldn't that be kinda like blackface? 14:49 She's taking this too seriously. 14:58 Yee-haw! 15:04 I can see that happening. 15:19 "Window-staring". I think that's calling out a troupe for characters having a hard time. 15:24 That "Rarity is Worst Pony" balloon. 15:40 There's the mirror again. 15:45 Now kiss. 15:49 There are many moments in the show where that song can be used. 16:06 She is a southerner after all ;) 16:14 Nice word, Pinkie. 16:22 That's a little creepy. 16:30 Rarity is an angsty teen now. She's wearing her emotions. 16:36 Mad Fluttershy is mad. 16:45 Another great Twilight face. 16:46 Rarity is breaking down. 17:03 You only realized that now? 17:25 Why is Lemon Hearts in this? She's Twilight's friend! 18:05 It's like treating celebrities as only characters. 18:20 "Rarity is Worst Pony!" Rarity: "Yes, you've let me know that many times today!" At least Starlight didn't kill them. Maybe she only threatened to. 18:24 They're now arguing who is Best Pony. 18:31 The best line from this episode, and one of the greatest lines in the show. "Twilight was better before she got wings". What the whole fandom was saying after the season 3 finale. 18:34 What all Fluttershy haters say (if there are any). 18:44 That is a valid question, Caramel. We've never gotten an answer to if Pinkie and Applejack are related. We want to know! 18:47 Why is Twinkleshine here? She's also Twilight's friend! 18:55 Twilight used Royal Canterlot Voice. 18:56 There's the happy couple. And Bon Bon is team Applejack. 19:00 Song time! 19:11 Amethyst is clearly team Fluttershy. 19:21 Alright, just cover up your friends. 19:25 Now kiss. 19:29 That is some hardcore Flutterdash shipping right there. They're even touching cheeks! They're *_*really*_* pushing for it. 19:44 It's more the size of the moon, maybe the sun. 19:52 Rarity is using the stage Big Mac and Feather Bangs used in "Hard to Say Anything". 19:57 "And I can be too eager to please." Too easy, DHX. It's too easy. 20:07 Now kiss. 20:12 That's more than kissing ;) 20:19 You're not the only one to point that out. Many people said it sounds similar to "Welcome to the Show". 20:24 Pinkie has the best part of the song. 20:33 It seems Twilight got the best faces of the episode. 20:45 Now kiss. 20:50 Rarity gives the bedroom eyes to everyone. 20:54 Good enough. 21:02 It probably took the whole hiatus. 21:11 Second best song of the season, right after "You're In My Head Like a Catchy Song" from episode 13. 21:27 And it solved nothing. 21:33 Applejack: "Dear Princess Celestia... **clears throat** I didn't learn anything! I was right all along!" 21:44 The G3 ponies are back. 21:47 Toola Roola: "It was because of your journal that we found out we're lesbians". I probably shouldn't be saying that about kids, should I? 21:50 Coconut Cream: "Our friendship is magic!" 22:09 As long as someone learns from the episodes, who cares how much hate they get? That's all that matters. 22:22 More Rarijack shipping. 22:29 That is so true, Fluttershy. 22:36 Unleash your inner Oprah again, Pinkie! 22:42 **Stock sitcom audience laughter** 22:45 Starlight has adopted two kids now. She is now a mom. 23:01 I like how they don't solve the problem onscreen. 23:20 It was the complete opposite of that. 23:29 It _might_ not be referenced again, but that doesn't mean other episodes were referenced in this episode, particularly what the CMCs and one of Dash's fans said. 23:33 I think it was the right choice to end it like that. 23:42 They knew what they were doing. 23:46 I love this show's meta humour. 23:49 Larson, you beautiful bastard. 24:00 This is some nice editing. 24:05 Really? Even above "Rock Solid Friendship"? 24:10 I didn't think we would ever get an episode that could be compared to "Slice of Life", as I thought the heavy meta humour would be a one-time thing. 24:23 Rarity is cowering from the Discovery Family logo. 24:46 Did people really not like Rarity at the start of the show? I mean, I can understand why, but _that_ many people to the point where they're pointing it out in the show? 24:29 The lesson for every Fluttershy episode: be assertive. 25:03 It was more of a punch to those who take things too seriously. I heard that people were ranting about this episode on forums and chats. This episode split the fandom, like "Slice of Life" did. Those who hate it just can't take a joke. 25:07 Oh, it's no coincidence. They planned this. 25:14 Another great episode for this season. 25:26 It was a good choice. 25:58 Especially when she went insane. 26:03 Assertive Fluttershy is Best Fluttershy. 26:09 I still say the song from episode 13 is my favourite of the season. 26:20 Hopefully it's not the last time we can say that. 26:29 Nothing in this world is perfect. | Season 7 is quickly shaping up to be the best season of the show. If they keep airing episodes with as much quality as episodes 7, 10, 13, and 14, it will reach best season status in no time. Again, I just love the meta humour in this episode. It was great. I noticed in your comment that episode 15 isn't the next video. Could that mean "Ponies the Anthology 6" is happening real soon? We'll find out soon. The solar eclipse is happening tomorrow. I hope you can get a good view of it. I'll only be able to see a partial eclipse. Until next time, I'm signing off! **
And the moral of the story is...My Little Pony is for little girls...Oh dear.
It's more like the adult fans debate about stupid things while the little kid fans learn valuable lessons about friendship.

At least some of them.... other becomes fanboys/fangirls.
The moral of the story is to not let the message get dilluted by bulls(yay)t
For me the moral is that people should think for themselves and enjoy the show without debating which pony is better or say "TWLIGHT IS BETTER WITHOUT WINGS!1!1!1!1"
You are everywhere. Like those fans in the episode.
Toola Roola was one of the ponies mentioned in the Gen 3 theme song.
The song flawless = shipping fuel.
*inhales* YES MORE HAMILTON REFERENCES!!! THE JOY!!!!!!
This episode is a metaphor for the fandom. When Hasbro released the series to begin with, they did not expect the fandom to ever grow to its current size. Each voice actor has had their Fame and Misfortune and has proven how much the enjoy but also disapprove of the fandom. The point of the episode was to communicate how the show staff think of the fandom and the head cannons that have been produced. They have tried every way to communicate their thoughts, even through song but the fandom continues to argue over every epidode. But even 1 change, 1 good thing like BronyCon's chariy auction, can make all the annoyances worth it. And just like it said at the end, the staff will still have to deal with the fandom but they choose to accept it and deal with the annoyances. And, the fandom can wait a while for different things to be revealed.
