I am recovering from this right now ….I had extreme joint pain that would move to and from different parts of my body ….I had A-Fib….two ablations …..the the gastro kicked in …extreme gastro pain diarrhea blood loss ….the thought it was chrones or colitis and could not pin point exactly what was wrong …..after my second dose of remicade my immune system was so low I came down with legionnaires disease…had to be from a cooling tower in hospital and it actually saved me ….the medicine they used to help with the pneumonia quelled the whipple disease long enough for me to start to get better…..Four months later they did an endo and a colon and found the whipple in my small intestines…..happy to say I am now back to work taking meds to keep it at bay and hopefully past it
