Yea…..I don’t see myself having goats. My husband wants goats, but I’m the one who does everything for the animals (chickens and rabbits) and I don’t think I could handle all that. Plus the expense! Hubs thinks you just let a goat eat the weeds and don’t have to buy feed. Regular vet visits, medications, feed, etc….we can’t afford it. He is disabled and I am retired. My 30 yr old brain thinks I can do all the things, but my 60 year old body has other ideas.
❤️❤️❤️
Same here. 😊
That is some good information that y'all have just gave I have been interested in getting Dairy goats for my own personal use and everything you told us today explains why you need to be very cautious on buying goats I love watching your Channel I have learned so much I'm from cattle ranchers but I ain't getting into cattle I'm 64 years old and I just won't like two or three days and a buck just for dairy products only
Your husband sounds like my brother-in-law who told my husband that he was going to put a couple of cows out in his pasture so they would keep the grass down and cows didn’t require any attention. My husband was raised on a farm and had a good laugh.
Good morning Brooke and Jason, love the information you give on your channel. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦

You can’t have just one! They need a friend!
Just like Lays Chips 😜
@@CogHillFarm😅 🤩
My neighbors refused to get pigmy goats because they found them IMPOSSIBLE to contain.
They never had issues with the Nubians.
Good Friday morning 🙋♀️ 🐕 Jason, Brooke, MC, and Cog Squad. I enjoyed your goat video. Have a blessed and amazing day.
Hope Helene gave you just the right amount of rain.
I don't have plans to get goats. I can't have animals where I live. I watch them virtually by watching yours and other farm channels. I do appreciate you sharing your wisdom and experience with them.
It's always a good day when I see your videos posted 💖
I was at the Linden stockyard to assist with paperwork. A guy came by in a stock trailer and dropped off about 20 goats. It was in screaming hot July. Within 20 minutes of the goats being dropped off, 95% of the goats were on the ground either overheated or in labor-or both. It was a nightmare. The vet came by to check the cattle, and helped us get the goats in a more comfortable area. We hosed down the goats that overheated, and moved the laboring goats to a better location. However, the person that dropped off the goats disappeared-nowhere and never to be found. The goats did not sell. We were able to find homes for the goats, but not all of the goats made it through the experience. When Jason gives advice about their animals, I take it as the gospel.
Midlands of SC no lights since 4 am. Our pecan tree has limbs down everywhere. Normally get 300# in a good year. Won't get that this year. My 99 yr old mama loves her tree. My sister and I say she loves it more than us. Prayers for everyone now and future from this storm.
🙏🙏❤️❤️ I am so sorry 😞
Praying for all that's in path of the storm be safe 🙏 God bless love ya'll 🙏 😊❤

I had a ferret, can't imagine the ferret being the size of Joe
Jason and Brooke, please update us on the weather there. God bless the three of you and fur and feather babies.
There’s an excessive amount of ads this morning. Two long ads that doesn’t give an option to skip. They’ve been on every channel I’ve visited this morning. Wonder why? Any who, I made it through them to watch the entire video.
Love your goats!
😊❤️
Then you have other creators that sell them for meat and don’t have enough grass to feed him. It makes me so mad.
💜🐐💜🐐💜
❤️❤️❤️
Good morning Cog hill farm

Good morning!☀️
Don't forget about Artificial Insemination
Very informative video. Thank you!
What are the common reasons a goat gets a cough? Also, what do you do if you have a different goat looking sad and acting sad?
We wouldn’t speculate, & Call our vet ❤️
Good morning Jason and Brooke. Love learning about all the animals. ❤
Happy Friday! 🐐
You too!❤️
Weren't goats originally from desert areas? This is so informative
Jason the goats are following the teacher.
Good Morning Brooke and Jason hope everything is going well for you all today ❤
Hi to ya! Question: what breed of goat is a "meat goat"? Roll Tide!
On someone else's video, they said vodka gets rid of cigarette/smoke smell in clothes. Maybe trying vodka on the smelly goat clothes when you wash them? Add a cup of vodka to the wash.
Milking daily is one thing for the milk
Good morning. I love my goats. I also have Nigerian dwarf and Nubians but I also have mini Nubians. When you were talking about snacks and bananas…it is so true, some love it and some don’t care for it. Have you tried feeding the peel as well? Mine love eating the peel.
I've added a cup of white vinegar to the wash for pet beds, etc. Some people add baking soda with it. But just the white vinegar got pup pee out of the bed he decided to hike his leg on. I've also heard from a friend a cup of vodka takes smells out as well. But I think I'd be like you on the buck rut smells. There is nothing like a strong urine smell. Plus, it's been out fermenting in the sun. Whew weee! That's got to be rugged. Lol 🤣
Thanks for the information.😊❤
Really need do lots research on any kind animals you might want, make sure you can handle the work and amount of care they take. ❤
I am and think I was born in wrong area I envy what you have and do but then my 65 yr old body tells me I'm too old for what ya a!l do so ill just enjoy watching you do it all. Hope you are all safe from the weather in Florida
I love goats they eat everything!
GoodMorning Coghill

Excellent tutorial! I’m not getting goats, but appreciate the awesome knowledge! You rock!
Love the video! Learn something new everyday!
Great video! Very informative!
Hello. You need to contact Eddie's family farm they have alot of goats an having problems with fencing .
Great video. Interesting!!
I had ferrets use to bath them and powder them
Good morning Jason and Brooke and babies. Good information on goats. Yours all look so healthy. They are definitely pets. You have so many different kinds of animals. Love them all. ❤❤❤❤
I’m with Capri, no bananas
I didn’t realize how big Joe truly is until I just saw him standing up! Joe is as tall as you are, Jason!
Another question: What is the tags of skin hanging on some goats? Why not all goats? Again, best to all and ROLL TIDE!
Good morning and very interesting to learn thing and don't think i would want male goats for sure
I pass a pasture of beautiful lil goats and lots of babies. Its rained for 4 days in a row. I mean really hard. Those poor little goats gathered in the corner together. Not even as much as a tree to give them shelter. IT BREAKS MY HEART. I feel so very sorry for them.
I understand what you’re saying BUT these poor babies found at barn sales or auctions need rescuing-desperately. I wish you would have mentioned that. They desperately need help. Everything else you said was right but they need help. You didn’t say that part. That’s the part that needs mentioning. Those who can, need to help. 💔
Learned so much about goats in this video. Not to mention when Phi Phi had 3 babies who survived because you and Brooke knew what to do. Plus Brooke is a great mama.
Goats are beautiful animals. We had a few for our racehorses. Friends of mine have goats, and they built them a playground. It has a shelter high off the ground, with wooden ramps that had stripes of wood up to the top. The goats all love it. I hope you both have a great day my friends ❤️🙂⚘️🚜.
Doss farm bought a goat and it was sick and got all their gas sick and they lost them so like you said becareful and coach them out
Did you try tomato juice as a shampoo cause if a skunk spray an animal it takes the smell away
I don't want goats but I did like all the information you gave about them. It helps me with our neighbors they have a few goats that do get on our property every now and then.
Good Morning y'all
My daughter teaches at a school and showed them one of your videos for kids and they were silent for Serena’s minutes. They had a farm day at school the other day and one of the students asked her if she knew farmer Jason. Thank you for what you do.
I love my goats!
They test my skills with proper fencing to keep them where they are safest.
Each one is a character and has a personality all of his or hers alone.
They keep me on my toes!!
On days that I’m feeling down, I find videos of baby goats playing. You can’t help but smile and laugh watching their funny antics. Thank you for sharing your farm life with us. God bless you
❤️❤️❤️❤️
🐐🍍😎🤙🌴🥥🌺🌈🐐
Did UA-cam change the skip option on adds on videos?
Not really sure, we do not have any control of the YT ads
