These stories are all incredibly inspiring! It takes a lot of courage to talk about Jesus and share the gospel with people. I'm so happy that God is using you for good, and thank you sharing all of these stories!
It takes a lot of courage to share the gospel, especially with teenagers. I commend your fervor and willingness to do so despite any obstacles you might face at school. I was a substitute teacher for a few years, and the prospect of sharing the gospel with some of those students would be nothing less than daunting. It’s great to hear your peers being so receptive. Concerning your Q&A, while I have my own answers to these questions, some might be worthwhile addressing just in case some of your other classmates didn’t ask these: 1. If I were to start reading the Bible, where would you recommend I start? Should I start at Genesis and go cover to cover? Should I start with the Gospels/New Testament? (If so, which Gospel(s)?) 2. If I were to start going to church, how would you recommend choosing a spiritual home? Are there any red/green/beige flags I should look out for when making my decision? 3. If I were to try and research Christianity as someone completely unfamiliar with the religion, are there any authors, sources, or even other UA-cam channels you’d recommend? 4. I’ve heard many disagreements among Christians. Some say it is sinful to drink alcohol in any capacity, while others say it is only drunkenness that is wrong. Some Christians proclaim that once a person is saved, he is always saved, while others insist one can fall away. Both sides use the Bible to support their claims. How do I discern the truth when faced with these types of arguments? 5. If I were to begin sharing the Gospel, how much should I know/where should I be in my Christian walk before I start? Should I know how to confront certain arguments, like the problem of evil/suffering, or is familiarity with the Gospel message enough? People may have asked these questions at school or in your document, if so, awesome! If not, I hope these are the type of questions you were looking for as I approached them from the perspective of someone unfamiliar with Christianity. Even if you don’t use any of these, hopefully they get the mind jogging as God beckons us to “Come now, let us reason together…” Isaiah 1:18a ESV) for we should “…always [be prepared] to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you…” (1 Peter 3:15b ESV). Looking forward to what your peers and other people submitted for the Q&A!
@@Josh_McGaha Thanks so much! Sharing the gospel can be scary, but when the Holy Spirit is working you gotta listen! Haha. Thanks for all the questions and taking the time to write all those out. :)
Hi Jayla! Your video randomly came across my suggested but I just wanted to say i’m so happy for how God is working through you and it has really inspired me. I’m planning to create a video of my testimony over the winter break, God has placed it on my heart for a while now! Prayers for that and for it to help others would be the best. I’ll continue to pray for you and your school ministry:)
@@amymxi Lord Jesus, I want to lift up Amy to you. I pray that you will bless her in all she does for you and that you would give her a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
