This made the Russian speaking regions of Creamier, Zhapolheizer, Kherson, Donesky and Lughansk to declare themselves independent. The new Ukraine government troops started bombing the citizens of Russian speaking communities. Putin tried to resolve the conflict in Minsky by informing the agrieved members to go for a referendum and choose what they wanted and where they wanted to belong but also have a cease fire. Ukraine authorities on knowing that their were no chances of recovering these territories from being independent to being part of Ukraine again had to seek to join NATO and European Union intact as it was before the separately declared independent regions stated above.
