This Personal Size Canterbury is in many respects similar to KJV Cambridge Cameo. When teaching and preaching, I prefer a much larger text, but when I am at my cluttered study desk, a hand-sized Bible makes perfect sense to me. The small format is also great for quick-draw checks on cross references. Thanks for a great review, brother Chase. I'll be subscribing!
I think this is my favorite size of bible , my regular size is just to heavy and never sees use. Its very pretty but just doesnt really grab me as much as I thought it would.
@davegarciaofficial The full size ...Its just to chunky and the regular ones at the time I did this review need a bit more yapp . It's mainly just my personal taste with bibles. As for the print and paper it's really nice ... From what I've seen Schuyler listens to their fans and have improved designs on their feedback.
@@Airik1111bibles gotcha. I think they need to take their listening one step further and give us mid size Quentels and Canterburys. Readers and reviewers have been calling for em for quite some time now. Or just bump up the size of the PSCs/PSQs a tad.
@davegarciaofficial That's why I use my Cambridge Turquoise and Allan Nasb LPUT ...portable, thin and readable. Honestly lately I'm more into older bibles, my main users are my older Thompson and 1988 Open bible in genuine pigskin 😁 Thriftstore finds and ebay gems. I found an almost new Open bible I've wanted for years and only $70 .
@@Airik1111bibles you can read the Thompsons?? Bless you!! Lol!! Same here. I landed on a CBP water Buffalo handsize turquoise. Perfectly sized bible. I just miss the Schuyler “luxury” sometimes :(
Thank You for a concise yet wonderfully detailed review. I am the proud owner of both a personal size and full yapp Canterbury yet I can’t pass up the opportunity to see my favorite Bible reviewed, especially by a fellow Schuyler fan! Awesome 🌟 By the way - wonderful background guitar music ! Would you happen to know the artist? As a guitar player myself, I enjoy listening to a good player! Thanks again!

Odd. NONE of my Schuyler bibles smell nice. They basically have no smell at all. Like when they dyed the leather it killed the smell. Very disappointing.

The Canterbury as a whole doesn’t grab you or the full size doesn’t grab you?
