Toni has the best control over her voice... Tamar has the best range and a great ring in her head voice... And Trina is a mix of Toni and Tamar ... She very good as well .... Towanda has a alto range but sings like her range is a soprano... Traci sing in the right range n stuff she just always nervous n shook ash when she sings n it shows but she's getting better ... I love how they sound together much better n apart it's like a girl group that need each other

Tamar was the best on this particular video! Towanda should've just not agreed to sing for the people because she didn't do no warm ups or practice before time obviously but they sound better together than alone especially the two that ain't never have a solo deal but overall I think they should've just did all these different performances together no matter what , PERIOD.
Towanda performance was on a show from damn near 20 yrs ago. She didn't do warm ups bc Iylana put her on the spot. It was apart of an exercise she had to do.
Toni is the most technically trained singer. Great agility, breath control and overall musicality. The others are amazing too, they just need a vocal coach and exercise, Tamar who has the most potential could be the best one In terms of range but she lacks technique

The 1st Tamar was not good at all. It's crazy tho, because they all can sing, but you see what happens when you don't use ur muscles consistently. Because they all sounded pitchy. Toni doesn't usually sing as high as this song comfortably calls for (and has been using hers to pay everyone's bills forever...think of how mariah n whitty's voices were affected from overuse), but the rest of them can pretty comfortably pull this off. I'd love to hear 2021 versions. Tamar will murder, Towanda is gonna be much better, Traci will still be as nervous as a 1st time karaoke singer, and Toni is gonna be the same, because she's smart.
Toni don't switch tones she keeps it from the throat. I get that and she keeps it deep. Get that to, but I don't like the whispering sounds nasal sound.
Why does Tony always sing so low, when she can go higher, it's not like she don't have the 🤔, the range, I just have never seen someone that can sing, single life so nervously after decades, I get she don't have the range as her sisters, because Tamar of course I believe is the best singer, below key Tracy is the best singer, if y'all ever hear her sing, not in front of people, just like somebody playing the piano, like go check her out on God for the rainbow in the sky, by herself, she kills it, but no I'm tripping I'm definitely is the best singer, but they truly have a family where everyone can sing, that's just what it is, we saw that when they did Tony Braxton's tribute, breathe again

Probably bc they are so use to singing as a group. Maybe if they had a vocal coach other than their mother that taught them their individual voices it would be better. * Toni is old school so she probably had individual coaching during her artist development days.
