    Its always a pleasure to watch Tom operate in his element like that. He's so unbelievably good with venomous animals it blows me away.

    The King Cobra is an amazing snake. It uses its brain as well as its brawn. He/she will think about where it wants to put its venom before striking. It is truly majestic. Very intelligent. Respect is the key for them. Glad you got the chance to handle.

    This so reminded me of watching Steve Irwin. This gentleman was not some nut job with a death wish but a true wealth of knowledge and genuine love and respect for the animal. I wish there were more videos with him in them.

    I was in Thailand and able to view one behind glass and even a few feet away it startled me when it rose up. Mad respect.

    Staring into the eyes of a raised hooded King is like staring down the barrel of a gun. Holy Shit that snake commands respect.

    I see Tom taught you not to grab the cobra behind the head, works for pythons too. Really enjoyed this. I surf Crutchfield's Facebook page and he posts a lot of pics of this activity on his lawn with the Kings, but no videos on his UA-cam channel. I hope you bought one of the Chinese banded kings for the Keenan farm.

She is the protector of the good and is fierce to the evil doers only !! The following gives the details en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kali

    Mr. Crutchfield : Hello, Emergency Services. Can you come and get a woman out of a tree? We did a snake demo and when I brought out the cobra she vanished. She's been up there for four days! We found her by the whimpering sound and the pile of waste products.
    I'm good with nonvenomous snakes but there isn't enough time in the universe to get me to be calm around cool scaly death machines.

    I have several videos with tom crutchfeild in them and you can tell that he has no problem telling people the way it truly is without sugarcoating anything in one clip their was a guy who actually thinks he knows all when it comes to snakes he was filming a video for his UA-cam channel and everytime he opened he mouth to say anything Tom had to correct him I thought it was truly kinda funny except that this guy wants a cobra but like tom told he has no business owning one and then come to find out that guy is from the state as me I dont know why but it truly seems like everytime that someone is on any kind of nation platform representing Alabama it is usually some of the worst people to represent our state due to either stupidity or just plain ignorance I dont get it

      @soulessshadow5356 7 років тому +3

      This is wrong on so many levels my friend. I don't mean any disrespect, but you and aren't correct. Some species of Cobra are calm and fairly docile, however, the King which they are working with here is quite the opposite. Tom says himself that this particular one towards the beginning of the video was fairly tame compared to some of the other ones. King's are known for being very aggressive and dangerous. The Mamba is no slouch, there's a reason that snake has made a name for itself as the "Midnight Assassin". It's very very dangerous and very very deadly. It also has one of the most gnarly venom's in the snake kingdom, but it's definitely not more aggressive than the King itself.
