Sadly Jake "McNasty" McNiece passed away January 21st, 2013 he was 93 years old at his passing. This is someone I knew nothing about until I saw the Fat Electrician do his video, as a veteran myself hearing these stories about unsung heroes touches my heart deeply and does make me teary eyed as well. I am so glad you got to see this and I noticed your eyes getting shiny which tells me it effected you the same way. You should also check out the Willis "Ching" Lee video by TFE as well. He is another one of those anti heroes as it were.
93 bro lived 100 lives he was to the age where it’s a home or hospital 🫡🇺🇸 insane stories and experiences perfect peaceful passing at a older age but not totally fallen apart that’s a built different American hero somehow that’s how they all go 🫡
I second the Ching Lee vid!
I think Jake should have gotten a medal of honor for the bulge, I would bet he was robbed of it due to being a curmudgeon
They are our heros for sure.
MP is military police
Why do i answer questions before finishing the video lol
I do it as well lol
@@linkerthejedi2575 lol
She still appreciates the answer…comments make the video more visible in the UA-cam algorithm. That’s why bot farming comments is such a problem.
@@dukerollo1116Not the only one
Unfortunately Old 666 was operating in the Pacific Theater while McNasty was in the European Theater so they would never have met
Yeah, I know that technically...but they could've gone out for drinks later. The bar would have exploded, but it would have been amazing.
I am just getting started. Hope she watched the interview with Jake at the end.
The man may have passed away ... but Jake's legend and legacy will never die 🇺🇸
I met him when I was about 10. My grandpa took me to the VFW and they talked . Wished I would have paid attention back then.
I'm still just watching the intro But I'm guessing Lauren is going to really appreciate him going to Paris to get some booze for the boys.
The crew of Old 666 wouldn't have known Jake. Jake was in Europe and the crew of Old 666 were in the Pacific.
I can't wait for The Angels video. If this made you emotional, hearing about Lois might wreck you.
(edited to mention Old 666)
Inches are better than centimeters.😂😂
Thank you for letting me know I'm not the only weirdo to comment on parts we couldn't have seen yet in her reaction.
If you want to get teary, watch his video “The Angels”.
I love count dankula’s quote for this. “We didnt take over the world for the sake of trading spices. We did it cause we could.” Lil bit before 16:40
Yeah Batman wont kill you but your medical bills will if not the crippling injuries and pain will. Lol. Awesome video as always.
"To making me eat my words in 5 minutes or less." Immediately followed by "yep!".
Talk about a perfect unintentional pause\unpause. Lol
Never heard of those names...I feel so old now. That was an all star cast. The movie, though inspired by Jake and his men, not the same story and actually came out 19 years after the war.
28:43 Yeah I gotta agree with you there. Atlantis looked great, the characters were funny and the mythology was fun. I just wish we'd gotten the series they'd planned. Treasure Planet was another underrated gem that could have become a full series.
You forgot the Viking horn,😆... Certainly you fangirled Dexter? If you can find Live vid of old MC Nasty'q interviews - DO IT
oops. honestly I'm not entirely sure where I put it, lol
One of my favourite comments on Nic’s post was from someone that was a kid in the town Jake was the mailman. They had known him basically their entire life but until seeing this video they had no idea he was a hard arsed war hero.
Highly recommend Jake's (with Richard Killbane) book The Filthy Thirteen. The professional writer was obviously putting the words to paper but you could tell it was Jake's first person account and the stuff the guy said is gold. RIP Jake.
Batman is the best anti Hero , he made a plan to kill every Justice league member like Superman , flash etc if Some day they turn villains ( they didn't know ) , in comics Batman kill criminals like insects...
A lot of them were bridge experts. That's what the expert sabotage training was for. They were taught to wreck pretty much... Everything.
Jake is my hero. Forever. Him and my dad. Also a screaming eagle. Ranger. Thank you, Pa.
This is probably one of my favorite TFE episodes.
Here I’ll explain why Batman is an antihero, he has a moral code against killing but that means nothing because he can beat someone within an inch of their life to the point they will never fully recover but he still didn’t kill them so according to his code that’s fine
Batman is in fact an anti-hero he may not kill people, but he sure as hell will make them wish they were dead from beating their ass. And also he actually does kill people just not intentionally. When he shoots missles and machine gun fire at enemy vehicles to stop them a majority of the henchmen probably die.
Sticking with "the high ground" thing... payed off. Love your quotes and references ❤️ taking a shot of Jameson 🫡
No prob, when we cammied up, I never cleaned up because my gf liked it when I got home…33 years later she still digs it
Actually he was trained to take over bridges/blow them up. Whole point of his squad was to parachute deep in enemy lines an start blowing shit up. Briges, power lines, supply lines etc.
I think I just fell in love when she said Jason Todd "red hood"
When I was 12 my dad was in the US army and we where stationed in Germany in a building the. Had 5 floors and 4 stairwells. I actually started my own business at the time of offering to sweep and mop everyone's landings in the stairwell for 5 dollars a door. And I would also do the stairs as well going up to the Apts. I had 3 buildings and I would do them on Monday or Wed or Friday. For the most part I made 50 dollars a stairwell x 12 = 600 ( 3 buildings x 4 stairwells each. ) I was raking it in at the time and was making alot more money monthly than my dad was. He didn't make me but I gave him money since he was the only working adult in the house. Actually gave it to mom for food and such. The job wore my butt out. But what a damn good experience. Also 1 person in the building would get assigned cleaning the laundry room. So if they wanted I'd do that for an extra 5 bucks x 2 ( that was the number of times they wanted it cleaned. ) sorry to ramble on. This story brought that memory back. I had the best clothes, stereo and bike in Frankfort I swear. 😅😅
It is NOT an integrated unit. There was no integration in the U.S. military until a few years after the war.
Just so you know the Video Camera was invented in the 1880's. How else do you think they got video of the Wright Brothers first flight.
When you get demoted from private, your new rank is civilian or sometimes convict. It could go either way.
Batman is an anti-hero because he might not kill but he will definitely cripple people.
Fair.
It really depends on which Batman. Nolan's Batman didn't kill. 1991 Batman sure is hell did 😂
I actually started working much more than 40 hours a week when I was 7. That pretty much stayed the same until my health took a nose dive in my late 30's. MP is short for Military Police.
It's very ironic you said it's shot worthy "babeee",bc you said you didn't recognize any of the actors from the Dirty Dozen & Telly Savales was famous for his line from Kojak "Who loves ya babeee?" 😁👍😎

Your reaction was excellent. The fellow in the middle of the photo appears to be their pilot. The clean around his mouth is where his O2 mask fit. Thank you. Following.
Funny how everyone watches this and never anything about Alvin York who captured over 100 German soldiers single handed lmao
Talk about under rated stories! I'm waiting, hoping TFE does a video on Sgt. York!
@celtic13666 I wonder if I could donate to get a channel to tell the story 🤔 if you actually know a way I'd be glad to try my best 👌
I don’t think you need any rules to drink! Hey, neither do I!
Yeah it was actually his platoon in a manner of speaking. He had never actually officially been promoted from private. But as has been noted throughout this video he was invaluable to the mission. That's why he was put alone in his own platoon in basic training because they wanted to keep him but they didn't want him rubbing off on all the rest of the man. Then probably in some sense because he was first but also because he probably was the best every time they got a soldier like him they sent him over to Jake's Platoon. Jake was always recognized as the platoon Sergeant although I don't think he ever was officially a sergeant. Later on when he is talked into volunteering for the Pathfinders the commanding officer offers to pay Jake as a first sergeant the whole time he is in Pathfinder school if he will be the guy training them. Jake as the fat electrician notes tells the officer he doesn't care about the money he has liberated money from every safe He has come across in Europe.
So in that case I don't know for sure if the officer officially made him first sergeant or just had him receive first sergeant pay. However whether or not he was officially made for sergeant he filled that role in training these Pathfinders. So he was a first sergeant and yet he wasn't a first sergeant. He was always recognized as the platoon sergeants before becoming a pathfinder. And here again he is recognized as being the first sergeant. So yes he was officially in command of the soldiers. It's the strangest situation I've ever heard of. But as far as I know he wasn't even as a trainer of the Pathfinders actually officially promoted to irst sergeant.
Furthermore Jake is always recognized as being platoon Sergeant by his men. He is always recognized by whatever men he is with as being the guy in charge. I think this is evidenced by the situation on D-Day when he found himself putting together a platoon of as the fat electrician says around 35 men. These men are all disoriented and have all been dropped miles from where they were to have been dropped. Very few of them have found any of their friends. And these guys all get together and decide to follow Jake who again is actually a private. I think this shows that Jake's general demeanor and attitude and simply the way he carried himself was in fact in the manner of a leader.
After Jake argues with the colonel and then finally reliance and tells the Colonel he will do his mission we see again the evidence that he was naturally a leader. These 35 men that are with him decide to disobey a colonel's order and follow Jake to his objective and then follow Jake as if he were platoon sergeant. He was the kind of guy that the other guys would simply follow because of the way he carried himself and because frankly he was the main character. there weren't very many main characters in world war II but he was one. And so despite whatever rank he had on his shoulder he would be followed. And because leadership generally recognized him as the leader of the platoon that they organized for him.
Don't know if you guys have watched Band of Brothers, The Pacific, and Masters of the Air. Highly recommend them.
All 3 absolutely amazing.
Whats that problem? Done. Need some shit over there? Done. God rest your soul, Jake. Also my woman is😂 named Amelia. FTW This guy is a damn Boss.
Seeing him as a cute old man at the end is so funny and heart warming to me
Also surprised you didn’t like the “inches vs centimeters” penis joke
TFE has a short video about the Iowa class battleships were he tells the story of the USS Wisconsin (the ship with a temper). It only lasts about 5 minutes, but a great story.
I can probably watch some of the shorter stories. I could string a few together, I think that would be fun
You're gonna have to refill your shot glass. You don't have a drinking problem. You drink, get drunk, fall down, no problem.
And oh, we had events in NC, on Camp Lejune property, like mandatory fun days, etc, all the vets know what I’m talking about, at least our unit was cool until the last about 20 months I was in, after downsizing was happening. We had the NC state police show up, with their gay ass drunk goggles, and golf carts and cones, for walking and driving the golf carts. The first one I remember about 5 weeks into being at my unit, the MC state troopers told me and my buddies, and the old hands. That “they didn’t even want to know” why almost all of us could walk and drive the cones, without failing, with the worse drink googles that should simulate death via alcohol poisoning. My unit had the highest deployment rate, at least officially. And also the highest divorce and dui rate, but we were the most effective and safest over all and in combat. Can see a trend here, you can be really good at what you do, among the worlds best, and do it the most, and longest per year, while doing it the longest amount of times, every year, but gotta suffer somewhere. We were to this the day, the best and most accomplished overall, and we kept that alive, and pushed it forward, but it cost us, we are all misfits, rejects, drink, etc too much. Do things we shouldn’t, self destructive, ptsd, etc. to be clear. Not meant as poor me, I volunteered, I knew could and would be problems, I’m just saying it comes at a cost, and people need to be ready to for the cost in humans, money and things are effectively infinite with the right technology, people aren’t. Lost fiancées, meaningful relationships and some the things that meant the lost to me, outside of the USMC, me and many, many others have all that up, and sadly some gave up everything for that belief. That all tied into those poor staters who were like we don’t want to know, well, were the best, in everything, lol. And better than you, in every way, if we weren’t better, you’d be us and we’d be you. The very few and dumb who got mad, and mouthed off to us, we’d tell them careful boy, yuh have no jurisdiction here, go ahead and start a fight, we’ll throw you in the brig, and the state will be lucky to get you back, and nothing will happen, so go ahead throw a punch son, see what happenings, we’ll stomp you into the ground, and no one will help you here a whole different set of laws on military bases, especially if you assault military personnel on their base…we can legally kill you, and that is in fact an act of war. By law. Even more so if you are wearing a uniform and serving a government, it’s the sword of Damocles, of I messed up, badly enough, they could imprison me for years, decades, life or execute me, guess what as a civilian on a military base, if you do wrong to the extreme, the same can happen to you
He is motivated by food, and "post graduate" work.
You need to do a reaction of TFE "Old Bastards" the story of the 77th Infantry Division.
Love your reactions
I mix my Crown Royal with Royal Crown because it only makes sense lmao
Nevermind me.shtuff changed , you rock !
I'm sipping on a screwdriver technachly , mine is NOT vodca and orange juice. It's moonshine And orange juice. ( A stronger twist to a classic drink.)
Had the honor of drinking and spending time with Jack Agnew who was an org member of the ' Filthy 13" got to sit there listening to him tell stories of blowing bank safes , robbing other units at gun point to get needed supplies, blowing up other units barracks. trying to out drink him along with Wild Bill & Babe from E/506th (band of brothers) made for epic hang overs deff got to read the book.
also the movie "The Dirty Dozen' in NOT based on them event the director of the movie has said so
Thanks for setting the record straight. And that sounds like an awesome experience
No killing… not no breaking all the bones in your body but your still alive… or falling in love with the villainess…

Nothin' like a of wee dram of Tully.
MP is Military Police.
And don’t worry. I don’t have giant bottles of whiskey, not often, they suspiciously become empty, and therefore expensive to keep repeating that, along with being 37 now, kinda starts to take a toll on me, yes I realize medically I can be called an alcoholic, normal can lost who find and like the TFE and the reactors, let alone a USMC vet, as former active duty USMC, I can say we are the largest and most hardcore group of functional alcoholics to ever exist. We’d show up for PT at 0430 to 0500 depending on unit and what was going on, school house or training etc, not even hung over, still flat out shit housed. As we only quit drinking from minutes ago, to a couple or 4 hours ago, after being on duty/work, doing shit at times for 18 hours straight, we blew off steam and problems by drinking, and fighting, is that the healthiest method, definitely not, is it effective for what the USmC and the US needs from it Marines. Absolutely. Especially when they send us to fight, and no booze to be had, now we gotta buy/trade for, steal, or make it, on top of everything else, really makes us unhappy, even more so.
Hay we the 82nd had a great time
Don't forget the Fat Files!
cant wait till you watch the vid he does on the 77th
Army/USMC; MP= military Police

When were Referring to the military? MP stands for military police.

Great reaction but yeah, a little less interruptions, but you were fun watching your reaction 😉

This is a very rough quote from a country song. When did our heros start wearing old mans clothes.
Here is a suggestion. I mentioned in another video of yours. I would like to see your reaction to Master Sergeant John Chapmans dbl medal of honor last stand UAV footage.
I'll see if I can't find it and hopefully react to the video you're thinking about!

When’s the next Fat Electrician video?
And hell yeah. Been working since I was 11, farming and cattle. And doing shit I won’t mention or else kinds of woke lame asses will investigations to happen. But I’ve done among the consistently most dangerous jobs, top25-50 until I joined the USMC at 17 and made it into the top ten, for sure. Jake shoulda been a US Marine, no doubt. He woulda fot right in, hands down, in effectiveness and lifestyle/habits. I was along the best in the USMC, st my time in, also known for drinking, partying, etc, and don’t fuck with me, I’ll talk shit to LT Col, and did if they pissed me off, I never lost rank and I made plenty of enemies only my skill kept me going and slowly moving up,

Its.not about you

talked over half the video, yet again.
The the norm now.
Why are you focused on making fun of these pathfinders pictures? Most of them are probably dead from serving their country. They volunteered to serve and your criticizing their looks? What kind of morbid BS is that? These men are not the simps of today. They are true worriers that sacrificed everything for their country. Please, have an ounce of respect!
Do you know what a ruck March is cant listen to you listen to the story
Shit i have no idea what you speak of.
