I honestly love how they decided to bookend the Xehanort saga by having some of the last spoken lines in KH3-RM (and the entire saga by extension) be the very first spoken lines in KH1 (and the *entire seires* by extension). "I've been having these weird thoughts lately... Like, is any of this for real, or not?"
I also love how they added onto that with Sora/Yozora saying "None of this makes sense to me..." as if the series has basically become self aware of its own mind-screw at this point. LOL!

SuperSonicHeroes Bizkit047 and Everglow have both made some pretty good Yozora guides, though I’m sure that Soraalam’s will be just as good

@@tiernanstevens117 I agree with this, it took me a day and a half to beat Yazora. After getting my ass handed to me a couple times I just had to pay attention and I got it no problem.

@@thehumanstunlock7588 well if they aren't going to remove that ability at least let us steal our stolen items back, perhaps maybe by making it so they appear in orbs that float around the arena and we have to break those orbs to get them back
That’s like me against all the data bosses on level 99 proud with the ultima keyblade. The difficulty spike is immense. I don’t think I’ll ever have the time or skill to finish.

Since no one mention this yet, I'm going to. There is one more surprise in this fight. Have a Kupo Coin in your inventory, then do your best to defeat Yozora without dying while carrying it. You'll see.

Beside that Kupo Coin punishment, one thing that amazed me in this fight was that we were like, "shown" the transition death animation when reaching 0 HP. It was so cool!

WOW, I am amazed that anyone could actually beat him on level 1 critical. It took me well over 500 tries to beat him at level 99! Holy crap dude, amazing job, bro.
I see everyone making 360 jokes, but you all are counting it wrong. He beat it in 358 tries over 2.
-___- I use Water all the time; not sure if you know this, but it's honestly useful as a close ranged attack, and seems to help me in getting Situation a bit quicker.
I've used it as a close range attack as well, I don't like it. Good for something like flame cores, I really don't like it anywhere else.
I’ve been trying to defeat Yozora for a few days now and the last few times I’ve fought him the instant the match start he does his stage transformation so when I get through it the entire fight is just him with unblockable attacks and him summing clones, it sucks
I finally beat the bastard (on standard, level 99, mmkay) and what I think, is that their fight was in a shared dream between Sora and Yozora. I think Yozora is in the past, because his chofer is freakin' Luxord my guy. It must be Luxord before he got nobodied (twice apparently) which would make this the past. Unless the recreated Luxord is really quick with his job searching and landed a gig as Yozora's driver within the year.
How funny that both of our fight ended the same way with the same attacks

This fight was horrible. Like the fight just sucked and the devs did so horrible with it. i hate it so much. beat it once, will never play it again.
Kinda late but can you please explain why you feel this way? I'm very interested in your opinion since it's the first time I see someone not praising this fight!
@@lionhearts7288 Oh no.. it got way more ahte then praise. these videos are just for the tryhards who praise this kinda fight. The fight itself isn't unacceptable. KH has always had end fights like this at the end. What makes this one soooo horrific. is there is important canon behind it forcing you to go through the hell of playing it. Meaning the 98% of players who dont like insanely hard fights and plays the game for the story (as most of us were kids who have now grown up and dont ahve the time to be super sweaty at a 15 year old franchise. as much as we may love it.) This fight is made for literally about 2% of players. they needed to not put canon behind it. if they wanted it as a end game side thing for the try hard fanbase. sure thats great. what made it horrible was the canon they put locked into it.
@@lionhearts7288 As for what makes the actual fight bad. its a shit show of insane mechanics jsut being spammed. yes there is a pattern and it is beatable but its insanely hard.. when every youtube hits literally thousands of failed tries.. thats not good. you can make sometihng challenging without being stupid AF hard and border line impossible. again, would be fine.. if there was no story element attached to it.

Well it seems we both have a very different experience with the KH community itself. Whenever I see youtubers (even casual players), people on reddit, Twitter, and other talking about this fight they are praising it.
In my experience, 98% of people love it and 2% hate it.
For the story stuff, imo it's a good thing. I feel like it's rare having a jrpg where you have a good reward for beating the superboss, which is really nice.
As for the importance of the cutscene, I have the disagree. They went out of their way to make a bad ending so that people can see an alternate version of the end cutscene without beating the fight! And the "true ending" is literally different for only like 12 seconds, and doesn't change a whole lot...
Finally concerning the the cutscene, KH2fm did the exact same thing with data the mushrooms, data fights and lingering will (which is allegedly a much harder fight than Yozora). You get a secret ending for beating the game and completing all optional worlds, but if you wanted the "true ending" you had to do the mushrooms Xiii minigame, the data fights, beat lingering will and then re-beat the game to get an "alternate version of the secret ending". It is literally the same thing as for KH3 but way more tedious...
Now the fight itself :
This matter is even more subjective than the others so I won't talk to much about it.
I'll just say that in my experience, and from what I've seen on UA-cam and reddit from casual players and more "hardcore" ones, this fight really ain't that hard.
You say thousands of death, I know you are exaggerating but you say that on the video of someone who discovers the fight on the highest difficulty, on level 1 AND with self restriction (no ultima drive form, no rage form, no links) and even him doest take 400 tries. I've seen a lot of people beating him on their second or third try on non-critical difficulty (hell, even ON critical)just smashing X with how ultima is broken in this game.
Or some just abuse link, which heals you, make you invincible for a loooong period of time and damages the boss... I've actually rarely see people struggle with this fight on non-critical difficulty, or even critical.
There is just so many ways to be invincible, make bars of damage with one move, etc, that it's rare to see people not just cheese the fight, even sometimes without wanting so. That's why I think lingering will is a lot harder than Yozora.
There are ways to cheese him (combo minus, stitch...) but it's not something that most people will try because it is less obvious. And, unlike Yozora with Ultima, you can't chess lingering will by just smashing X...
For Lingering Will, this time around I have very rarely see people cheese him on their first playthrough, even less people beat him on their 2nd or third try (now that I think about it, never did I saw this really).
And, if really the Yozora seems that hard and you just want the story, Square once again went out of their way to make the EZ codes that let you litteraly one shot him!
Finally, even tho I really think this fight is not that hard, I had a blast learning to do it on lvl1 critical with all pro codes without taking damage, and imo it is by far the best choreographed fight in the series.

@@lionhearts7288 Yeah its all good. As for the community. its staggered. depends on what pockets you talk to and find. I used to be super ahrdcore on all this stuff. and even now adays yeah Ive gotten through this fight and everything. Times are just changing and a lot of us are growing up. Problem with pro streamers or youtubers and what not.. is they literally live playing video games. so they (should) be good lol. Or at least decent.
As for the fight, Yeah, but I think thats half the problem. Its either way to easy for a player or way to hard for a player. IDK maybe Im to strict on game design where I want games a nice medium, challenging but not insanely hard for the players who arent are serious. A lot of games had this down pact but I feel gaming has gone down in quality (not just KH but all games.) The more gaming becomes a popular thing and the gaming community becomes more and more toxic. The more the quality of the games slip as devs get lazier. Personally I'd perfer a game where you get a hard fight but arent one shot. I want to get hit. I want the game to be challenging, but I want to be able to recover from the hit and strike back. But thats my personal opinion. hard to describe. but most fights in modern gaming seem very one sided now adays.

He straight digitized it. It doesn’t exist until he’s done using it.
Yozora steals Sora's powers, not just the Keyblade. Even without a Keyblade, Sora is able to use magic, but not when Yozora does it, meaning Sora becomes a normal person, without magical abilities.

Been slowly getting through your twitch vids. Honestly, Ansem is one of my favorites of them, but it seems the opposite for you. Though, I can understand why. The way to fight him doesn't focus quite as much on high intense action like some of the others, but I think it fits him well.

Why is this so hard? Gee, I don't know, maybe it's because you're:
A) Level 1
B) on Critical mode

C) This is a Kingdom Hearts secret boss
Don't know how I realized this after a whole year, but at 7:49 you would've died when Yozora hit you, but since you hit "Lightning" in the Command Menu, you got staggered and Once More activated, allowing you to survive that hit.
