It's OK but with the market becoming saturated and more to come, I am holding off from such purchases because I think that there are going to be quite a few casualties over the next year as more big boys come in for a slice of the ,market and the dust settles. The increased competition will help drive down prices too.
Good that you selected no on install but did you also cleanup and disable windows crap that installs and runs even though you select no on install "features"?
I think that Sega Saturn it was more of the Emulator with Panzer Dragoon and the Game Cube F-Zero GX it just didn't finish buffering so that is what cause the slow down after that it was staying at 60 fps.
Love the channel and maybe I missed it but do you have or will you dive into emulation on the Dreamcast? I remember years ago having one and being able to download and create a boot disc then downloading and burning iso files for the games on cd to then load and play on my console but I also remember having played super nes and Genesis games that had been burned onto cd on my console as well. Since you’ve given so much attention to the ps2 what about some Dreamcast? And I’m not talking about the consoles that were modded to accept an sd card but on a real Dreamcast ?
Not worth it, save a little more and buy the cheapest model of steam deck and invest your money wisely, this handheld does not fit any niche at the price tag, you can literally get better performance from emulation if you buy a used smartphone like a poco f3 and slap a controller for a fractiom of the price, heck even if bought new the price togheter with a controller is not that different might be even cheaper those phones were under 400 a while ago with a very decent snap dragon from 800s series and decent gpu. Not to mention emulation low end stuff a retroid pocket 2 plus, for only 100 actually works great and performance doest seem that far behind this expensive device. For playin windows games good luck with this underpowered device, the cpu and gpu seem quite lacking to run windows, windows is a terrible resource hog...
probably why they're now announcing their under powered ultimate lol and I'm an anbernic fan boy! loving my steam deck, just got it a week ago finally lol amazing machine!
If money was no object to me then I'd consider this Anbernic Win600 ..it does some emulation rather well..PSP for instance..full screen and probably better gameplay than actual PSP.. position of analogue is wrong..and like Wicked I would hardly use it..Dpad is ideally placed though..retail price should be no more than 250 approximately dollars..maybe 275 maximum..about 250 British pounds/260 Euros
The problem with these handhelds is the market isnt ready for it yet, even if you get a system that can run the newest games very well it will drain the battery in an hour of 2 so you end up playing it at home
What do yo do with all these totally similar retro systems? Throw them on a pile or sell them? You generally only the need the Steam Deck for high end and Miyoo Mini for extreme portability. Then probably just wait 5 years and see what's on the market then.
It was never usd $450. $400 I believe but the 3050e is now usd $350 on the anbernic site. (Plus shipping) And its 2 core 4 threads. The 3020e model is no longer in production btw

For what the device delivers its way too expensive in my opinion. If you wait till Q4 this year you can get the ayn loki mini amd for 260$/€ and have a much better cpu/gpu and pay much less for more.
Those analog sticks are way to low, you literally can't reach them if you are 6ft tall or bigger. You can juuust about reach but it actually hurts to use it. Pass - Steam Deck 2 will be out next spring wait for that.
This is a really great video. Wicked does a fantastic job panning the camera and talking over it in his second language. I think. Anyway, Listen, this handheld is just boring to me. 🥱🥱🥱 Another Nintendo themed design. I apologize to fans of this style. It's just not interesting to me at all.

Crazy how anbernic was making retro hand handles a few years ago, and some home ended up being a heavy hitter. I wonder if that was their intentions ?
