Lol, you mentioned Macbeth - in one of his newer Rap videos, I think it was Losing It (the fun braggadocious type where he shows off his ‘bars’ and ‘flow’ ability) and he says in one line that he’s about to go Macbeth and then it got really crazy! Crazy in a great way!
Its actually a double entendre as well because Ren loves Disk Golf and one of its best players is Paul McBeth a.k.a. Beast Mode LMAO. Just like in "Illest of our Time" when he says "Ready? I'm heavy, I'm Mercury, I am Freddy So eat my words, fill your belly Like alphabeti spaghetti" Obviously it's a reference to the lead singer of Queen, Freddy Mercury, but also in that mercury is a heavy metal, hence the "Ready, I'm heavy." His word play is honestly on a whole nother level compared to 98% of the artist's out there.
Sam's a bit of a one trick pony for me. He does that one trick well, despite the odd flat or off-key note, but that's all he does over and over. However, I know that people are easily impressed by the ability to sing in a high register, s I'm aware that I'm probably in the minority here, lol. :) You'll find a Sam or two in every tv talent show going. You won't find a Ren there. Ren's a truly singular talent, on vocals alone, never mindhis endless string of other impressive musical talents! :)
His band is The Big Push
Brighton UK
