Hair need be bout 2 inches and up some stylist don’t do 2 inches so 4 is easier for them. Products to grow ur hair are rosemary oil, trimming hair, and other oils.
I blend a couple drops of peppermint, half castor oil, and half coconut oil. Also she butter is good, you have to decide order of liquid, cream and oil for your hair.

It looks like they are braiding overhanded ,instead of underhanded, cause my daughter hair stick up too after it drys. I need to learn how to braid overhand.

Yea no problem. It takes that long because I spend a lot of time trying to part my hair in the back. It’s pretty difficult when you’re just using a mirror by yourself lol
You pretty much just let the water run through it and when you apply shampoo and conditioner, you focus on applying it around the roots of the braid and your scalp
