Very few British people fully appreciate how lucky they are, being born in a country like UK is like winning the lottery of birth. Two thirds of the world live on less than $2 a day and it’s actually getting worse. The world, of course, in not short of resources. There is enough wealth to go around, the problem is the unfair distribution. Free healthcare, free education, a social security safety net, these are concepts that the vast majority of people in the world cannot even imagine.
How come I could manage a major construction site from 2003-2009, were this issue was addressed, and the well being of refugees was being address and solving the housing crisis? Here I had 1/3rd of the workers were non EU passport holders a majority had made it Europe on small boats from Asia and Africa. All the of the 65 workers on site who were seeking citizenship worked within a program were we as a construction firm sponsored there entry to the UK. A welfare officer assisted with making sure accommodation was fit for purpose. All 65 worked and paid taxes whilst we built over 400 new much needed social housing units. Then the Tories took power! Some of the nicest people I ever meet and worked with too. Never called in sick, great workers!
I want what is best for my family, and my country, and I don't want parasites! Sort your shit out, and build a civilisation in your vast expanses of land! My home (England) is small.

@@airbornewarrior6249 the sort of reply that proves my point. I've actually housed and supported quite a few but you'll no doubt read something cynical into that.....
Andy Crowe ... you’ve housed refugees? Any proof of that, or is it just talk? And have you helped the thousands of homeless veterans ( that fought for your freedoms and rights) in the same manner, or haven’t they experienced enough hardships for you? IF you have put refugees up, how do you know that they haven’t committed atrocities against Britain in such places like Afghanistan or Iraq? Or is that ok too? Speaking as an ex military man, these people constitute a real security threat to our country as we know little to nothing about them or the lives they have lived before getting here!
@@airbornewarrior6249 well, I raised over £300000 for Homeless International, developed 400 homes for vulnerable homeless people including ex service personnel, housed Syrian refugees as a volunteer for our Rural Refugee Project and volunteer for Oxfam one day a week. Refugees have to go through a thorough vetting process to be assisted. Yes of course its not perfect but it is often racism and prejudice that radicalises both the very small minority of Muslims and a rather larger number of white supremacists. After all it is the latter who have murdered most Americans. If you are actually reading this I'd suggest you try to meet some refugees: they are many bright, grateful, friendly and hard working in spite of the terrible experiences they have had. I'd happily introduce you.
Andy Crowe ... firstly I have no problem with legitimate refugees coming in to the country, it’s the illegal ones I have a problem with... I accept that legitimate refugees go through a vetting process, but how can the illegal ones be fully vetted when they arrive with no documentation and often lie about everything from age to country of origin!, we know absolutely nothing about them and that makes them a risk...As for the United States comment, I don’t know enough about the subject to comment on who’s doing what and who they are doing it to... I commend you on your efforts with the work you do, but just because something offends you, it doesn’t make you right.... the situation is people are coming into this country on a massive scale, which we know nothing about and it’s not our country’s problem, nor should we be expected to deal with it when they have all claimed asylum in France which is a safe country and because they have registered in France we should be sending them back....it bugs me how we can give these people 4* hotels and money, but do nothing for our own homeless and people in need...as a veteran I see how many of our country’s homeless are ex services and they get nothing ,but these people get everything, I just don’t find that fair
He clearly speaks good English perhaps no French, meaning better prospects for him to be able to work and start a new life. Perhaps he has family here.
It’s a fair question, it’s only unfair when one automatically assumes that it’s for economic benefit. I’d genuinely like to know the answer. I have always assumed that France and other countries along the way would also be safe countries in which to claim asylum, but I’m only guessing because like most of us I don’t actually know.
What a hardhearted sentiment. Just imagine it's yourself in the boat or someone you love. Find your humanity. This world belongs to every person in it. We are all human with the same needs.
I'm 100% happy for anyone to come and think they should be brought over properly but I've never understood why France or other countries in mainland Europe aren't good enough and people have to risk their lives once again to come to Britain. I mean the weather is shite

inform yourself a little better about middle eastern countries and how many refugees they are already holding. Look at Lebanon, Libya, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Turkey. They each have millions, yes millions of refugees. The UK, a rich a stable country is devoting so much energy and concentration to the figure of "4000" "illegal" migrants this year. 4000... That number is absolutely pathetic and in no way warrants the attention it is receiving. It is purely serving as a distraction like Hassan said.

Hassan, what was wrong with France, the country you were in? France is no less prosperous than the UK, and no less liberal and free. So, why did you risk you life in a small rubber boat crossing the busiest sea lane in the world, liable to be run over by a large ship, to go to a country no different to the one you were in?
Maybe it's because he speaks wonderful English and thought an understanding of the language would enable him to be a contributing member of society. Living in a different country is very difficult, particularly when language barriers make daily tasks very challenging.
@@gaynorkashmir7087 Hassan looks intelligent enough to learn French, after all he mastered English. Risk your life in a rubber boat because a language is easier? I don't get it.
@@gaynorkashmir7087 very true. However it's still should not have happened like this. We are facing a refugee crisis, but not in this country. Greece, Italy, Spain, turkey. They are facing a refugee crisis. I only think it's right that refugees claim asylum in these countries first (as they are supposed to do as set out by the Geneva convention). Then, to lessen the burden on the southern European states, some should be allowed to come to the northern European countries. Northern Europe (including the UK) needs to share the burden of those seeking asylum.
Why do you live wherever you live? Why not arbitrarily move to France, Spain, Germany, Timbuktu, based on someone elses' opinion on where you should reside? Hassan made a brave and perilous journey to start a new life under the internationally recognised laws of asylum. He chose Britain as his new home, where he works as an NHS cleaner. He could've chosen to start his new life in France, certainly. We have benefitted from his decision to be part of our society instead.
Gotta love entitled people like this. As if it wasn't enough that he intruded someone else's land and claimed it for himself in a true desert bandit fashion... now he even assumes the right to chastise the rightful owners of the land for not being welcoming enough! You know what, Hassan? When normal people need asylum, they go to embassy, file the request and wait. Only disrespectful criminals sneak into someone else's home without prior approval.
He would of claimed asylum in France, that should be enough to send him back as France is considered a safe country...it’s not racist to to say that illegal immigrants coming to this country is wrong.... the clue is in the term illegal... racist seems to be the go to word when people don’t have an actual argument ...
Excellent, but it would have been good if he had answered the racist's number one question of "what is wrong with every other country they passed through to get here?" Also, it shoots itself in the foot, with anyone who can do the maths. We have 1% of the world's refugees, but there are 195 countries, so we appear quite popular. Yes, I'm sure no-one wants to go live in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but you should have listed a few countries with more than the UK. Other than that, it is a valiant attempt to give a face to the real human people who are faceless in the MSM. I would have liked to know where he came from, what his life was at home, what has gone wrong in his country. Then addressed why the UK, maybe English is his second language, and he can't speak French or German, so he wanted to go to an English speaking country. Then ask why Yaxley Lennon didn't want to move to France or the Republic of Ireland when he became a refugee from here ;-)
How is Yaxley Lennon a refugee from here? Plus as an English speaker I can get by fine in France, Germany and other foreign countries as English is known as the universal language... language is no excuse for breaching our boarders and breaking our laws

Makes you wonder how unlucky Europe is then considering they passed loads of European countries to get to us
I personally would rather live in the south of France
You are amazing love and peace
Thank you Hassan for such a clear and measured message
Yeah so clear

He got in a dingy from France, desperate to get to the UK, only to try to tell us how awful we are. Why didn’t you stay in France, Hussain? Not exactly war-torn there, I believe.
Where we are born is luck, yes. Where we go is choice. Don’t choose to come to the UK and then tell us how dreadful we are. There’s a reason you left France to come here.
Well done Hussan for escaping from the awful situation you were in and that dangerous place called France !!!
Very moving.
Dear Jenny, do you also shed a tear for following victims and relatives? Thank you!
Friends of mine got murdered by "wir schaffen das 7 th Century HOSTILES": Mrs Chitanie (68) was RAPED and totally beaten up and died after a few days coma, June 2019. Fredrik (16) and a friend were pushed from behind by 3 hostiles for the Strassenbahn, both died instantly :( December 2018.
I could go on telling about Angela (17, raped by 4 April 2019), Melissa (19, beaten of her bike for robbery by 3, August 2019), Kevin (12, totally beaten up by 6 the 13th of October) and Mark (12, got threatened with knives the 18th of October) all children of colleagues of mine who suffered horror last year, ALL UNPROVOKED caused by the same perpetrator group and there is more to tell if you want...
Prediction: Civil (or even The Third World) War within 25 (or sooner) - 50 years with Western Europe and us totally PACIFIED Europeans in the seat of fire. The anger and hatred that many people have in the UK towards asylum seekers is disturbing.
The anger and hatred they have for us is alot more disturbing
The ideocracy of accepting 750,000 per year is just staggering .
Thanks and well done for making it here Hassan. Let us hope that the haters, the cynics, the greedy and the deluded will be a thing of the past one day. We need more people like you and less Farages.
Andy Crowe if you feel that strongly about them.. maybe you should put a few of them up in your house and save the tax payers a few extra quid , more people like him and less British natives??? God bless Nigel Farage for telling the truth!
Brilliant!
why did he need to seek asylum here when he was in a camp in France..
He clearly speaks good English perhaps no French, meaning better prospects for him to be able to work and start a new life. Perhaps he has family here.
Because he probably gets more free money in the UK
It’s a fair question, it’s only unfair when one automatically assumes that it’s for economic benefit. I’d genuinely like to know the answer. I have always assumed that France and other countries along the way would also be safe countries in which to claim asylum, but I’m only guessing because like most of us I don’t actually know.
Stunning.
Well said Hassan, you brought a tear to my eye. Stay well and safe.
such a bleeding heart sentiment,so should the UK encourage such illegal activity which entering a country with out permission is ,
What a hardhearted sentiment. Just imagine it's yourself in the boat or someone you love. Find your humanity. This world belongs to every person in it. We are all human with the same needs.

Britain is not facing a refugee crisis, tell that to Kent Council who have no more capacity for child migrants.
Britain is not facing it : it has been defaulted to Kent.

He’s probably a wanted man over in the Middle East lol

inform yourself a little better about middle eastern countries and how many refugees they are already holding.
Celethar ... how many times have you been to the Middle East?
How do we know what he was doing before he got here! His English is suspiciously good and if he had nothing to hide, why not use the correct channels to get here? How do we know he wasn’t killing British troops before he got here???Propaganda at its best in play here!

It’s hard to even make out what you’re trying to say and my English is bad? Or is it that you are an older irishman still pis*ed off about the troubles?
Plenty of LEGAL channels they can use to cross the channel. So why are they not?
Hassan, what was wrong with France, the country you were in? France is no less prosperous than the UK, and no less liberal and free.
So, why did you risk you life in a small rubber boat crossing the busiest sea lane in the world, liable to be run over by a large ship, to go to a country no different to the one you were in?
They don't get as much money
Maybe it's because he speaks wonderful English and thought an understanding of the language would enable him to be a contributing member of society. Living in a different country is very difficult, particularly when language barriers make daily tasks very challenging.
@@gaynorkashmir7087
Hassan looks intelligent enough to learn French, after all he mastered English.

You cannot claim asylum in the UK by going to an embassy, you can only apply from within the UK. See www.gov.uk/claim-asylum
You have no idea. You cannot claim asylum through an embassy.
Ooh look, a tinpot racist who's got all his facts wrong. Quelle surprise. STFU.

Also, it shoots itself in the foot, with anyone who can do the maths. We have 1% of the world's refugees, but there are 195 countries, so we appear quite popular. Yes, I'm sure no-one wants to go live in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but you should have listed a few countries with more than the UK.
