    with it's estimated $1 dividend payment monthly, if you bought CONY now you will have ROI within 15 months, therefore free money after that, this are income funds, they are not growth funds, if you want to play it safe, when you get paid the dividend put the money into something safer

    I like your plan. No risk, no reward. I started with $1050 in a TFSA in March/23 mostly started in YTSL. Sold it when it was up 30% and went into various high yield funds. Sold them when they went down to much and bought others. Today it is valued at $2117.00, last month I received $108 USD in distribution. That is after 15% tax taken off. This is all with just reinvesting the distribution and not adding any more in the TFSA.

    I would like to dump all my CONY shares entirely but it’s so far down right now. Thankfully MSTY dividends help make up for the loss. The only YieldMax ETFs worth owning is MSTY. It already paid for itself with close to 200% return since April of 2024 counting all dividend received. With Bitcoin projected to rise high, MSTY is a long term hold with great potential.

    • @HealthandWealth-2024
      @HealthandWealth-2024  11 днів тому +1

      For sure. Tfsa: auto taxed 15% of all distributions form u.s etfs or stocks that pay a dividend. Cash account (not 100% sure) because I don't have that account type. My guess it's taxed like normal income. I'd Google that though. Don't trust me.

    • @PIIforever
      @PIIforever 11 днів тому +1

      @ it’s Canadian so you don’t have to worry about the 15% withholding tax. Buy it when it’s $19.30 or under and you’ll lock in an 18% yield or higher. Buy it with your high yield dividends. Add some stability to your portfolio and diversification.

    Hi Mike ! Why Cony ETFs and not QQQY?

    • @HealthandWealth-2024
      @HealthandWealth-2024  День тому +1

      Qqqy has been terrible from day 1. It's difficult to tell by looking at the chart. But every month has been a steady downhill. They just did a reverse split with no change to strategy. They'll do another one within 2 years if they don't change strategies. Yes you get a distribution, but it's been an awful fund.

      1000 shares, nice! Could be good, could be terrible time will tell. But, if you've got the cash and you're willing to risk it for the high yield then good. If you are borrowing and it changes your life for the worse if you lose a lot of capital then bad idea. For me I don't put a ton of my net income into these. I will build them up though over time.

    I added 250 shares in my 2 of my accounts when the price dropped 100 at 13.5 then it dropped further. So, I added another 150 at 12.45 but my cost basis was in the 17's since about June. I have seen it at 11.35ish and up to 18 plus over the last 6 months. I am up 12 % overall in 6 + months. A loss of net asset value but the dividends have outpaced the share price loss. My big position is 1855 shares in my IRA account. And 675 shares of CONY in a taxable account that I have built in the last 6 months. I don't drip in these I take the cash and buy my other funds if they are below my cost basis.

    CONY is far too risky. I lost a lot, when it first came out. I only recommend CONY in pair with FIAT to attempt both up and down price action, while keeping the large dividends. That being said, I have NOT figured out the right formula. Nor have I found the right DCA method. I am still experimenting.

    • @juliocs5483

      I'm doing the same, but I bought FIAT way too high, and it's way down. I don't think it will ever recover, so I'm just collecting dividends until I can break even. However, FIAT is great when BTC falls.

    I'm doing a 2 month re-invest, 2 month withdrawal of my dividends from CONY and MSTY. This will be my 2nd month. I'm going to keep this method until I have 1,000 of each and then just keep the dividend from there. I should reach the 1k of MSTY within 8 months with this method while also "re-couping" what I put into it initially.

    You buy low and sell high when there is capital appreciation. These funds are garbage and Jay needs a visit from the SEC. The slimeball calls them income but tells you you need to reinvest 100% in order to maintain a positive total return. You need to give him your income..... Think about that. His funds generate revenue for YM based on AUM, transactions, and the yearly fee. So the more you give HIM, the more HE makes. CONY, NVDY, MSTY are anomalies. Look at the rest if the garbage they throw at the public while the SEC does jack. Scam dividend traps, all of them.
