I vote for being cremated to avoid this. The power of sound is usually underrated in favor of sight in our Western cultures, but notice how evocative it becomes in the poem, so much that it’s terrifying. Thank you HG!

This is thought-provoking and an interesting angle of, say, looking at the way the "inner self", or an aspect of a person experiences a "change", whether this is conscious, or not. A good example as a lateral view of ie the formation of a narcissist, or someone who has experienced emotional and / or mental trauma, ie the loss of a close relative, or even the sense of self that was 'conditioned' as a result of narcissistic abuse. I don't 'mourn' what I used to be. I like the selection of poems, HG, encourages me to pause and think. Thank you 🤍💟💕

Please do “"Molly Bloom's Soliloquy” by James Joyce. When our dear literature professor (RIP) read it aloud to a group of twelve of us back in 1998, with his pit stains, gold toed socks, and tevas, we all cringed and shrank deep under our desks wishing the earth would swallow us and close up behind us. Mr. Torrance, that was his name! A memorable man. I’m sure Mr. Joyce did not intend for his final chapter to be met with such a reaction.

Dear H.G - you recently asked which stories or poems you’d like your subscribers to listen to you read.
I would love to hear the stories for children by Oscar Wilde. Especially “The Devoted Friend” which also fits with your speciality teaching us about narcissism. Thank you

I want to live in a world where The Treasure Trove has a million subscribers and the Harkles are footnotes. HG will you do Because I Could Not Stop For Death…
Because I could not stop for Death-
    He kindly stopped for me-
The Carriage held but just Ourselves-
    And Immortality.

Mr. Tudor, I would truly enjoy listening to you read. "The Road Not Taken" ~Robert Frost.
I have several favorite poems but I won't be a "Greedy Meghan Markle" with your time.
I listen to every one of your video posts. I don't comment very often.
I do hope you read my request.
    Thank you for your time.
