I love his voice. In my opinion better than the original. I don't understand a word, but somehow that just adds to the beauty, it makes one appreciate the voice more and not the words.
Since i've been a litle girl, i dind't understand why he dosnt sing professionally... he's voice is unbeliveble! i'm 20 y/o now.. and i loved his voice since aladin'in 1992... someone need to open his eyes.. i'll by his CD...
It sounds beautiful, I have no idea how people can speak this language so fast. I'm trying to learn hebrew and the 'ch' sound is pretty hard for me to do. It still sounds like I'm putting a lot of effort into making it when I try to speak casually.
wow, ive heard this song in english a thousand times, but it is beautiful in hebrew, and it was really cool to sing along in english and reconize the words in hebrew. wow, thanx again for the lyrics. that is such a aweseom language!
His voice is so powerful, but at the same time so heavenly. If they had redone the movie with Cary Elwes speaking voice and the Hebrew singing voice, I would be in love.
Thank you very much! I know that theoretically in my language there are two kinds of "H". Written with C is ordinary and the other one should be deep, but not many people even know about it. That's where my problems come from.
Yup. I didn't know either until I watched it again and saw in the opening that it was based off a book And no wonder I didn't know about it because the book isn't in print anymore The book is called The King's Damosel and it's by Vera Chapman I'm pretty sure you could be able to find it It really is a good book even though it's a little small for me ^.^
Hebrew just flows really well, it's so sweet sounding, like honey ah... XD Cute falcon, wierd hatchet bird...thanks for putting this up. Hahahaha she got wet XP Wow, his solo thingy was beautiful...it's clearer than in English. And, thank you for putting the Hebrew and English.
This is the most beautiful version of this song i've ever heard! I LOVE this singer!!! I wanna see the whole movie in Hebrew. English is so boring sometimes. Yes, I'm American (Jewish, but American) Does this singer do anything else? I don't even know who he is!
I was lucky enough to find one on Amazon for a pretty good price But um if you keep looking you should be able to find one. Maybe Ebay or a Thrift shop or something. My book came from a school library. Hope you find it ^.^
Beautiful. ^^ As pretty much all the versions. But heheh, they kind of cheated: They added an echo to the voice to make it more beautiful. :P Or is it just me?
The guys voice is amazing, but I must say, I do like the Italian version better. No offense meant to those of you who speak the language, I can't read it Romanized at all, I can actually sing the Italian version XD. again, he DOES have a good voice
To GrayEyes87: Of course it looks obvious to you, it's your first language. I, for once, don't think hebrew is so obvious (it's my first language too), and it may even sound strange to someone who doesn't speak it. (at least I thought so, but everyone here seem to like hebrew. Who am I to judge.)

I love his voice. In my opinion better than the original.
I don't understand a word, but somehow that just adds to the beauty, it makes one appreciate the voice more and not the words.
My goodness his voice is gorgeous!
Since i've been a litle girl, i dind't understand why he dosnt sing professionally...
he's voice is unbeliveble!
i'm 20 y/o now.. and i loved his voice since aladin'in 1992...

I went through and watched every version of this on youtube, and in my opinion, this one is the best. Better than the English, and I'm an American.
i'm learning hebrew, so i recognize many of the words. this version is very nice. i'd almost forgotten about this movie!
I agree that the language adds another level of beauty to the song, but I think the singers are equally brilliant
This is the most beautiful version of this song I have ever heard. :3
great translation and great singing.

Is it is just me or is this kickass song twice as kickass in other languages! Hebrew rocks!

It sounds beautiful, I have no idea how people can speak this language so fast. I'm trying to learn hebrew and the 'ch' sound is pretty hard for me to do. It still sounds like I'm putting a lot of effort into making it when I try to speak casually.

"Anastasia" was produced by 20th Century Fox.
This movie sounds cool in Hebrew.

Speaking and singing: Alon Ofir
Where can you buy this movie with Hebrew dubbing? I have looked for it for a long time. I have also looked for Prince of Egypt in Hebrew too.
His voice really is very lovely....I love it! Love it! The Hebrew versoin is just.....aaaaaaaah. Amazing.
Wow, this version is a lot better than the english one :x
wow, ive heard this song in english a thousand times, but it is beautiful in hebrew, and it was really cool to sing along in english and reconize the words in hebrew. wow, thanx again for the lyrics. that is such a aweseom language!

The movie is so super different from the book, but I still love it

I agree
Actually its called Haherev Haksoma "The Magical Sword"
the guy also does the voice of aladdin and simba :)
Actors are great, singer's voice is awesome and in Hebrew every word sounds like a spell.
Long time ago we buoght the movie, but someone borrowed it and never returned it. Thats why I was so happy to see it again here! thank you yadid! :D
אלון אופיר , Alon Ofir
0:10 - That was a convieniently-placed whirlpool.
yes, he's one of my favorite guy characters in all the animated tapes.
His voice is so powerful, but at the same time so heavenly. If they had redone the movie with Cary Elwes speaking voice and the Hebrew singing voice, I would be in love.
wow, much better than the german or french version O_o
I just got chills! The guy who sang this made Garrett even sexier (if that's possible ;D)
...Where was hebrew Quest for Camelot when I was preparing for my Bat Mitzva??!?!
וואו איזה סרט ישן!
הגרסא העברית שולטת!
אחלה סרט :]
LOL I'm the 22,222nd viewer. Hahaha.
Hebrew versions of songs from animated movies always rule. This guy's voice is HOT.
It is amazing how this language can be so beautiful here and so ugly in another scene. Wonderful job, wonderful vid, and hope to see more.
funny :) its the same people that make the voices for aladdin and jasmen :)
@ccminny
my words exactly !!!
Thank you very much! I know that theoretically in my language there are two kinds of "H". Written with C is ordinary and the other one should be deep, but not many people even know about it. That's where my problems come from.

Yup. I didn't know either until I watched it again and saw in the opening that it was based off a book
And no wonder I didn't know about it because the book isn't in print anymore
The book is called The King's Damosel and it's by Vera Chapman

It really is a good book even though it's a little small for me ^.^

Wow, his solo thingy was beautiful...it's clearer than in English.
And, thank you for putting the Hebrew and English.

But um if you keep looking you should be able to find one. Maybe Ebay or a Thrift shop or something. My book came from a school library.
Hope you find it ^.^
This is my favourite version along with the German one.
אלון אופיר=]
awesome
great!!!
I wish this was on iTunes. I am out of practice with my Hebrew.
Beautiful. ^^ As pretty much all the versions. But heheh, they kind of cheated: They added an echo to the voice to make it more beautiful. :P Or is it just me?
@zahnndim You should hear the german version :3
what is the name of the male singer??
your in the page of the song,
@FunnyLittleRedHead no "evil". ee'ver (עיוור) - blind
he wasn't giving the english lyrics, but the english translation of the hebrew lyrics. There are going to be a couple things different, you know.
He's name is Alon Ofir
שלום
Is there a site besides youtube or itunes where i could listen to this???
I have a question; when it's "ch" it is supposed to say it by throat and more European-like when it's only "h"?
יש לי חשיבה חיובית.
עם הקול של אלון אופיר, הליפסינג צריך להיות הדבר האחרון שמעסיק אותם...
The guys voice is amazing, but I must say, I do like the Italian version better. No offense meant to those of you who speak the language, I can't read it Romanized at all, I can actually sing the Italian version XD. again, he DOES have a good voice
Do somebody know wher i can download this version of the song.
do you have the song "if I didn't have you" in hebrew?
evil means blind in hebrew.who knew?
start at 2:04
גם אני מחפש :)) חחח
he did the voice of aladdin and simba in hebrew
תגידו, מישהו יודע איך קוראים למדובב הזה? יש לו את הקול הכי מטריף בעולם!!!!!
