"Poopy di scoop" is definitely the greatest lyric of all time.
Yall don't see the genius
@@boris2743 🤣😂
no cap
ua-cam.com/video/8fbyfDbi-MI/v-deo.html kinda fire ngl, kanye made lift yourself :\
@@tmr5616do you?
scoop diddy poop is better
There should have been a funny tier
+1
Comedy rap
Half of them would prolly be in that tier
Nah
Young thug would win 100%. “F* a lake I got fish here” “Got a foreign B* from Hawaii”. “Country billy made a couple milli”
Carti: “What?”
Fans: Perfection!
“They thought I was gay”
lil jon: what?!
Cornball
As someone who isnt the biggest JayZ fan, I gotta say i think The business line was underrated here.
“Let me handle my business damn” Dame is the guy he had business dispute with.
Agreed
Came to the comments immediately after hearing that rating lol. If that's not a perfect I don't know what is
I dont get whats so great about it a 12 year old could write ir
@@vladirackpubama6785 Yeah, I mean you're not wrong
Nas’s line not being perfect woulda been tragic
They almost took an L
I would’ve stopped watching
They should’ve had “time is money when it comes to mine take it in blood”
I was gonna have a heart attack
How they gon let the sandman reference flew over they heads 😂
You could practically say every single bar from Mobb Deep's "Shook Ones, Pt. II" is so iconic for automatic perfect tier at this point in time 😅
That song truly isn’t given the credit it deserves.
I'm only nineteen, but my mind is old
And when the things get for real, my warm heart turns cold
Another nigga deceased, another story gets told
this shit gets me everytime
"I never sleep, cuz sleep is the cousin of death" Sticks out major for me. That line stood out on my first listen majorly
The Jay-Z business line is basically in the national lexicon at this point. People quote that in normal conversations nowadays,
it's damn near perfect if you ask me.
And the Roddie Rich bar I think was underappreciated in this vid. The rest I basically agree with.
Fav bars on this list is hard, but I love the Kendrick or 50 bar. They're not mindblowing but they accomplish what they're trying to convey really well. Also the JID and Tyler bars. I like silly as much as I like profound.
Yea. If Nas’s line was perfect because it’s so iconic Jay’s line shoulda been too.
“I spit phrases that’ll thrill you, you’re nobody ‘til somebody kills you”
-Biggie
Another amazing bar from 100 grandkids is “what’s a GOD without a little OD , just a G” love that bar remember being like “HOLY SHIT” first time I heard it
Mac Millers was better then Wayne’s even tbh . Cause he didn’t even tell you he hit you with the punch Wayne walked everyone through it
"A 100 g's in my jeans im a Genius" is one of the most underrated bars ever.
Can u explain it please
@@tadknuf7979 a 100 gs(means 100k dollars) in my jeans(which has similar sound than g rhyming nicely with aforementioned gs) im a geee-nius(another g sound ) plus songname grandkids gg
Also jeans = genes
Also, his genes are capable of producing a 100 gs and/or a 100 grandkids...
But its in my opinion not even the best bar from THIS track, not to say by far not the "most iconic" Mac bar. "And what's a god without a little OD? Just a G"
The lyrics of 50 cent should get their own category, this is more than perfect. 🔥
Ya'll honestly my new favorites! So impressive guys you are naturals
🧢
Nice episode I like to see more lyrics and breakdowns
I think the lyric best describing GKMC is
"This orphanage we call a ghetto is quiet a routine" from SAMIDOT
nah the one best describing gkmc for me is. “really imma peace maker but im with the homies right now, and momma used to say, “one day its gone burn you out.”
@@LightningOnFire most iconic kendrick bar ever: if pirus and crips, all got along...
shouldve included jid dance now "you know ima rant when i talk to jah" 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
MF DOOM, R.A. The Rugged Man, El-P, Aesop Rock, Ice Cube, Rakim, Killer Mike, Danny Brown, Lupe Fiasco, Royce da 5'9, Redman, André 3000, Ghostface Killah and alot more than I can't remember right now for Part 2 😊
The song the 18th letter alone has so many great bars
@@joshm8832greatest Hip-Hop verse of all time
In the beginning, they say “just because a line is iconic, doesn’t mean it’s a good bar” and then they proceed to base how iconic the lines are by how good they are 😂 good ol NFR
“Invisibly set the Rolex is faceless, i’m just young, rich and tasteless. -P
“Rain drop, drop top, smoking on cookie in the hotbox.” I guess he had his top down and felt a rain drop and put the top back up and was smoking inside said car which turned it into a hotbox?
the lose yourself line by eminem is the most iconic one on here. It fits the entire 8 mile movie
and eminem’s life technically
no rap line is more iconic than that one
nah bro kanye got the poopy-di-scoop energy fr
@@extraterrestrial8888 lol
Real gs move in silent like lasagna better than mom's spaghetti
Definitely more iconic lines, like the Nas or the Wu-Tang one in this video
I never sleep cause sleep is the cousin of death is more iconic honestly. Probably the most defining rap line ever
5:47 I always took this line as the victim will always live through the shooter. Taking someone’s life imprints that image in your head.
i always took it similarly but slightly different. i took it as basically somebody who is killed in a shooting is always immortalized in the culture. everybody mourns and swears they’ll never forget the person’s life. however the shooter himself gets fifteen minutes of fame and that falls into obscurity as just another perpetuator of gang violence.
@@rednebula7612 You're correct, idk how this guy came to his conclusion, there's nothing saying that they'll live through the shooter. No hate to him obviously, but he's straight up wrong
@Willy I agree, maybe I should have worded it better. There is almost no chance that he's right. Yes, it's up to interpretation, but when there is no evidence or reason for an interpretation, it's basically wrong. It's like trying to interpret that line as Kendrick loving pink fluffy unicorns or something. Yeah, art can be interpreted in different ways, but if we just cut the shit for a second, it's obvious he's wrong. (Not trying to sound rude, just making my point clear)
@@user295. There is absolutely no reason it cannot be both, its Kendrick Lamar were talking about, and the Original Commenter isn't wrong, taking a life does leave an impact on the killer.
They miss how lasagna is a homophone for ‘laws on ya’ ie gangsters move in silence when the law is on them missing that homophone means missing that crazy double Wayne had a perfect bar on his hands here.
Holy shit.. Wayne is crazy
Metro and Future both say that Future did in fact go from the house straight to the studio 😂
That Logic bar is iconic cmon man
Some lyrics out of the 80s need to be mentioned.
Slick Rick - La Di Da Di, We like to party…
Public Enemy- Elvis was a hero to most but he never meant shit to me
Rakim- I take 7 MCs put em in a line and add 7 more brothers who think they can rhyme. It will take 7 more before I go for mine, now thats 21 MCs ate up at the same time
Wow that rakim line just explained to me Ems line on I’m back
I take seven kids from Columbine, stand 'em all in line
Add an AK-47, a revolver, a 9
A MAC-11 and it oughta solve the problem of mine
And that's a whole school of bullies shot up all at one time
That Rakim line instantly reminded me of the columbine line from I'm back. I never knew Rakim inspired that line, that's insane.
5:55 maaaan I fuckin love that song, I’m glad these people that deeply analizar music fw it too cus I think it’s my favorite Mac song ever.
“You said you was king
You lying through your teeth
Fuck your feelings
Instead of getting crowned your getting capped”
I speak for everyone when I say we want new fantasy drafts
The smokepurpp is iconicly bad so perfect 😭😭
Happy to see the Never quote 😂 would've also added my fav bar from Worst Comes to Worst from Zel. "They draw guns so how can lead erase me? Im baffled" 🔥🔥🔥
Ratio
@aarjunpatel8563 oh shit that one too for sure
Not sure if we can call it iconic even tho it's heat
@@reaps2661 fair. I'm def biased here 😂
@@thatgladiator3887 don't blame you, zel is an amazing rapper
“Next line will have em like woah, I been kissin white boys since 2004”; I’ll always remember that throwing me way tf off first time I heard it 😂
"I spit knowledge to the listener,
like he was my only son.
I grip the mic, like im at war, and its my only gun." - Logic
Mid as fuck
"And they asking can I get job today? Can I at least get a raise and a minimum wage?" - Heard Em Say by Kanye West. Iconic bar
Idk where y’all would rank this bar but how about “Nfr, can you do somethin’ for me?”
I hate it when every old school song/bar is getting praised for existing. Most of these og bars don’t deserve the tiers they were given
Y'all don't get enough credit man 🙏🏾, love from South Africa🇿🇦
Fede 🇿🇦✊🏽
What rappers do y'all fw in South Africa?
@@Python-xs2iv A-Reece, Nasty C, Blxckie, the list is endless
@@flaiir_rsa Might check some out thanks. What about rappers from the us and UK?
Yeah. Thank you. You responded to this idea a few weeks ago and i was really tense if and when you´ll do this lyric-Tier-List.
So awesome. Thanks a lot :D
Lu is absolutely correct about the G in Lasagna.
it is not silent necessarily, it just makes a different sound than a conventional G.
I really felt it when kanye said, poopy-di scoop scoop-diddy-whoop whoop-di-scoop-di-poop
29:55 Rare footage of Ant not riding Ice Spices meat
Congrats on the 140k YOU GUYS ARE CONTENT GODS
You know NFR has some iconic videos
mine is ,,"It’s not about a salary it’s all about reality." by KRS One. practically sums up whole rap game and industry
Technically, lasagna can be spelled lasania and doesn’t need the g. But honestly, when you’re a real g you can only move so silently because everyone is watching you so it’s not truly silent because a real g can never be truly silent.
Drowning has one of the catchiest choruses then kodak comes in with fartin
Not placing J Cole’s quote higher was a bad take
Big Ls “ I strike men quicker than Lightning, You saw what happened in my last fight friend, Alright then.” should have been here
Killing goons under the moonlight..That's who I'm in the booth like..
Ayy braa I go ham(Abraham) for dead president
Everything I record goes over their head like a boom mic...🔥🔥🔥🔥
ASAP’s ABCDEFG scheme in Peso is also a good set of bars that I didn’t understand until a month ago, after that tape has been out for over a decade lol.
There should be A funny Tier and an Iconic tier.
So glad you out the sleep is the cousin of death bar on here, probably my favorite bar in rap history
How can I be homophobic, my b*tch is gay. Perfect lyric
migos is perfect that summer i had a pass to my local amusement park and all summer kids my age would yell Raindrop” and you would yell back “droptop
bro just put 2pac in amazing wtf
u guys should do an episode rating the opening bars to songs/albums
“Nothings been the same since they dropped control, it tucked the sensitive rapper back in his pajama close”
You guys should do a diss lyric tier list I think that’d be great
I agree for sure with the C.R.E.A.M bar, has to be the most iconic bar for sure. So good aswell.
You guys forgot "Wake up take a sip of ace of spades like it's water" - Future on 'Low Life'
My favorite Logic bar when he was in rare form on first debut album 💿 Under Pressure: “But by putting pen to this pad and dispersing these feelings
While the label only care about making a killin'
Feel my energy, I ain't talking E-N-E-R-G-Y, I mean inner G
That's the shit they never see” this bar went over my head for several years until one day it just clicked for me and I was like 😮🤯
Your ideas of perfect lyrics are actually just good.
Andre 3K, Jay Z, KRS One, Lupe Fiasco, and Jay Electronica have some perfect bars
The Young MA line was always “head for me” in my mind
did kodak dirty by choosing that bar over the father one on drowning
how about a tier list for the most iconic first bars of a song?
Billy Cosby and R Kelly were Rick Ross Ghost writers 😂😂😂
“I don’t wanna die for them to miss, yes I see the things that they wishing on me” instead of using this, you used “she said do you love me?”
Got to put JuiceWRLD - ransom remix, Speaker Knockerz - lonely, tee Grizzley - robbery or first day out, Joey Bada$$, Nipsey Hussle, Lil Uzi, ski mask the slump god and XXXtentacion
He even opened up a restaurant called moms spaghetti
The Yonkers bar is a paradox in itself with it saying he is to saying he isn’t
Money Trees has been one of my favourite songs ever, since I first heard it in early 2014. Song is fucking insane.
how are u going to leave out the iconic lines from shook ones pt2
Money trees bar hits
11:06 Drake does not in fact say "My bed", but "Mahbed" (His son if I'm not mistaken)
Another NFR Banger‼️
For the longest time I thought j coke took the “sleep is the cousin of death lyric” on 95 south FROM Kendrick on SAMIDOT. But apparently nas made it first my mind is blown damn. Great video references.
No one can claim that this bar.
You gotta listen to more hip hop man. Everyone knows Nas made that bar
this bar has been referenced so many times also on 6 foot 7 “life is a bitch and death is her sister, sleep is the cousin what a fucking family picture”
To me Thugger’s bar is perfect cause he followed it up with “or I put the brack in my brack” cause the album name was barter 6 which took inspiration off Wayne’s carter albums and he changed the C to a B cause he’s a blood and that was basically the whole theme of the album 🤷♂️
"Even if you were a crack feind, you'll always was my black queen"
Tupac ❤
"I still don't know what the box is to this day" Luca
💀💀💀
No 90210 or my eyes is crazy
travis dick rider im here for it me too brother
28:03 It was lil Wayne that recited that bar in "got money" and I'm glad that u asked that question at that exactly perfect time....
falcons blew a 28-3 lead.
My favorite Rap lytics:
"A-a-all we do is just go number one" and " I ran up my money the most, i'm richer than all of the nerds"
-yeat
I had blonde moment because I was today years old when I finally realized kendrick Lamar, with spelling Compton in his backseat freestyle when I was listening to it earlier today. “C-o-m-p-t-o-n my 🥷 mobbing in Street”
see no seaguls couldnt see these goals please
-Joey Bada$$ - Killuminati
Im shocked I got 99 problems but a b*tch ain’t one did not get picked. Other than that great picks
Make a pt 2
How could you forget 2 Chainz Birthday song.
“I’m in the kitchen, yams everywhere”
U guys fried on the “check” bar
“I sell ice in the winter, I sell fire in hell. I’m a hustler baby I sell water to a wale” heat
My all time favorite bar is “ Now it’s clear that I’m here for a real reason
Cause he got hit like I got hit but he ain’t FUCKIN breathin”
That plane didn’t look real for a second
really wish this video was uploaded before my senior quote was due lol
Its funny how you put the Lil Wayne "Silent G Lasagna" line at the top of your tierlist when a similar scheme was done long before this and better too.
"If you're a G you as silent as the one in front of Gnome" Copywrite
"Okay you the king, Burger king"
ALL CAPS WHEN YOU SPELL THE MAN NAME
From kayne it should have either be " always had a phd..." Or " you'll never find nobody better than me"
or the bleached asshole bar
Shouldve put Logics Soul Food 2s
"But by putting pen to this pad and dispersing these feelings
While the label only care about making a killin'
Feel my energy, I ain't talking E-N-E-R-G-Y, I mean inner G
That's the shit they never see"
Drake: "everybody dies but not everybody lives" should have been considered.
Another slapper vid🔥
Loved this video❤
