Thanks Dhanny for another entertaining video. I am looking forward to your Madia trip. I went on a School trip in 1974/5 to Madia which I enjoyed. Traveled from Port Mourant, cross over Berbice river to Rosignol and then the Demerara river by ferry, no bridge then, to Vreed en Hoop. From Parika we travelled to Bartica by a boat for about half of a day. spent night sleeping on school benches in Bartica before a days drive on a trail ,on a GDF Bedford truck to Madia. Remember crossing a suspension bridge over the Potaro River, only suspension bridge in the a West Indies at that time. The trip was while I was at Berbice High School(Geograhy Field Trip). We stayed in a school in front of which was a playground. Greetings from UK.
